My whole team was absolutely dreading having to deal with this aspect of the party, but Gemini not only made it go smoothly, they made it easy and even pleasant. David called me back immediately to give me an estimate, gave me great advice and fair pricing, and was continuously in communication, which gave us confidence we greatly needed! On the day of the event, Keith the technician showed up EXACTLY on time despite our remote location and was incredibly helpful with the installation. He even went above and beyond and helped us troubleshoot some issues we were having getting our presentation going - the man deserves a gold medal. If you're looking for a reasonable, reliable, and friendly team to help you through your tech nightmares, this is the only place you should call.

We hired Gemini on a last min whim for a large company memorial and dedication event on 11/5/14…read more The price we received from our caterer to rent a podium, sound system and mic was out of this world. So I quickly googled the nearest AV company and Gemini popped up. I have to say we couldn't have been more impressed. Not only are they greatly priced, but the employees were very friendly as well. The first person who stopped by my desk the next morning was our Company CEO who gloated that they were "Exception and WONDERFUL" and that they "really took care of us" and made sure everything was in place and tucked away. The technician, Keith and David, who were on the site to take care of the events AV needs were really helpful kind and knowledgeable. We most definitely will use them for any future AV needs and I hope anyone who needs these services will use them as well!! You will not be disappointed.

I was planning a wedding event and didn't have the best idea what I needed to rent. Boston Audio…read moreRentals walked me through the process of renting exactly what I needed. I even received quotes from similar places in the area and their price was among the cheapest. The workers are very responsive, they came and set up the speakers on the wedding day and explained how to operate them (and the mixer), and the broke down the speakers at the end. It was an absolute pleasure to do business with them!

We used Boston Audio Rentals to deliver and install a Pipe & Drape for our November 2022 wedding…read more Despite assuring us that they had been to our venue "many times" and would be able to provide the Pipe & Drape, they failed to properly set up the Pipe & Drape as agreed and have since failed to respond to our request to discuss the issues following the wedding (other than one email suggesting that the problems with the setup were somehow our fault). We had a terrible experience with this company and would strongly recommend not using them. Prior to our wedding we told Boston Audio Rentals that we needed the Pipe & Drape to hide the tables which would be preset prior to our ceremony. We gave them the required setup and a picture from our venue from another wedding with our desired setup months in advance (see attached), and they received a diagram from our venue. Based on this information Boston Audio Rentals told us how many sections of Pipe & Drape we needed. On the day of the wedding their employee showed up and had no knowledge of the setup we required and had to dig through his emails to find the diagram. Once he set it up, he called the groom (point of contact) and explained that he did not have enough sections to complete the desired setup (that Boston Audio Rentals had agreed to months prior) and that he was too far from their office to obtain more sections. As you can see from the picture attached, the setup does not conceal the back of the room at all and further the sheets were also sheer which both obviously completely undermine the entire point of the Pipe & Drape in concealing the tables. We expressed our dissatisfaction during the day of the wedding, and only after involving our venue coordinator was she able to reconstruct the sections in such a way that at least the back of the venue was somewhat obstructed, but far from the agreed setup that we had paid $1000 for (plus a premature tip that was given upon the employee's arrival). We have since reached out to the company who has been almost entirely unresponsive and now suggests the problems were our fault. This experience was extremely upsetting on our wedding day. We also wanted to note that we had no other complaints about any other vendors from our wedding other than Boston Audio Rentals. We would strongly recommend avoiding this company not only for the bad outcome, but also their extremely disappointing customer service and lack of care in their final product.

They did an amazing job with the white drape and lighting. People walked in the room and were blown away. The music was perfect. We had a mix of age groups at the wedding and Joe played music for everyone. We never had an empty dance floor. We were worried not many people would dance with the generation gaps but everyone was up there all night, even my parents and older relatives who seldom dance. When we were still in the planning stages, we had a meeting with the venue and Joe attended. He had so many cool ideas with what do do in our space and worked very well with the other vendors to coordinate. We look back at the pics it takes us back to our special day with his unique touches that turned our room into a surreal vision. We even hear great songs on the radio and remember them being played at the wedding. You will not be disappointed with this team. They are tasteful, classy, industry professionals that will make your event extra memorable.

The website is really good and made it easy to view videos of each DJ and pick the one we wanted to provide music for the wedding. Plus this company is a pretty well known organization around Boston and they know the ins and outs of many venues making it easy to book them since they know the places already. The DJ we chose was Joe Toto. They make it very simple and easy with first inviting you to one of their showrooms (which is their home office). The good thing about this was it made it comfortable to discuss options and you werent pressured into signing anything. Joe was professional and personable and explained each service to us and made it very easy to book the service. The prices were not bad and for the experience we received, it made it worth it. The day of the event Joe came with two other assistant DJ's and set up without a problem. He played all the requested music and took a few requests and followed our instructions to the last detail. To this day people still are talking about how fun our wedding was and how the music made the difference. I would highly recommend this company for any event.

Ryan Durkin was our DJ from White Label for our wedding a couple weeks ago and I cannot rave enough…read moreabout how much fun we had. From our first phone meeting and checking him out at a club in Cambridge, we knew he would be easy to work with and make what I wanted to play work. I don't love traditional wedding music, and he made my love of metal and the cheesey 80s work. All the guest were out on the dance floor all night. He played what I call "Gatsby" music for cocktails and dinner, threw in some sock hop 50s/60s and then rolled us back to a mid-90s high school dance party for a lot of the night. It was an absolute blast. I would 100% hire him again if I need a DJ for something.

DJ Nato (Nate Oinonen) & White Labe DJs did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding in Boston…read more From our first meeting through the breakdown following the reception, Nate was incredibly friendly, accommodating and professional. For us, music was a very important aspect of the reception. So when it came down to finding a DJ, we took it pretty seriously. As we searched, it became clear that there were a lot of stereotypical, cheesy wedding DJs out there who lacked experience and professionalism as well as the patience to figure out the type of music and atmosphere we wanted at our reception. Thank God we found Nate! He really listened to what we wanted, used his background and extensive experience to make suggestions and delivered fantastic music all night. Highlights of Nate's Service: Nate is an incredibly talented DJ with a lot of musical knowledge. Our reception included a Korean ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing and required music to suit each part. Nate seamlessly transitioned from one part of the reception to the next playing music that fit every aspect of night so well. But, what impressed us most, was Nate's ability to read a room and mix in whatever kept the guests dancing and enjoying the party. We had a wide range of guests (Korean relatives, 20-somethings, our parents in their late 60's) and Nate literally kept them on the dance floor until they had to close the venue at the very end of the night. In addition to Nate's abilities as a DJ, he was also incredibly professional, well organized and a pleasure to work with. This is his business and it was clear that he took it seriously. He was always on time (or even early) to our meetings, very responsive to emails/phone calls and very on top anything related to the contract, payments, etc. What really blew us away was that over the course of the planning process and even the night of the reception, many of our other vendors approached us and told us how much they enjoyed working with Nate. Nate really listened to what we wanted and clearly cared about making the music/evening great for us an our guests. We were so pleased with Nate and White Label DJs; thanks for giving us such a fun and memorable night!

DJ Bunty, very patiently listened to all the details that we wanted and suggested his own ideas as well. He instantly had us on board and I was happy. 2 days before our wedding, we met DJ Bunty in person and discussed the details. He gave us the wedding itinerary (we had no idea how to plan!). He helped us with the music selection and took care of lighting. He also arranged our guests for the baraat and made sure that everything happens on time. The icing on the cake - he choreographed our wedding dance as well, thank you so much! I never had to say a single word once DJ Bunty came into picture. He took care of DJ, lighting and MC. He does take into account the crowd and his song selection is simply amazing. He also coordinated the whole reception and that too in just 2 days! I can certainly vouch for DJ Bunty. And remember, you can never go wrong with DJ Bunty. He is now the go to guy for not only us but all our guests as well.

Brighter Lights Media is WAYYYYY OVERDUE FOR A POSITIVE REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more They are one of the top vendors we worked with for our wedding and I have been verbally recommending them to every engaged couple we know. We worked and spoke mostly to Christian but he and his whole team are unbelievably professional and very personable. We had our first face to face meeting to discuss EVERYTHING and from there on we communicated back and forth mostly via emails and phone calls. His response time was quick and within a reasonable time frame. He was always very clear and there was never any confusion whats so ever- we were always on the same page. He really worked with us in how we wanted our wedding to be filmed and provided a lot of great suggestions. Even though at times we felt like our ideas were a bit overboard Christian was very receptive. The day of our wedding, his team was with us from the morning till our last dance. They worked really well with my other vendors from my makeup artist to my photographer, which is really important especially if they never met; you want the photographer and videographer to be in sync with one another. Our trailer came out literally 2 weeks after our wedding and to this day ( a year later) we still watch the trailer and feel warm and fuzzy inside like it just happened yesterday. When we received our film ( turnaround time is quick!) it was beautiful and more than we ever expected. The quality of the video is crisp and clear and the timing of the scenes matched the music. It was perfect. We seriously could not believe our luck in finding such an amazing wonderful team. He even helped submit our wedding to StyleMePretty-MA. You would be crazy not to book them!

To be completely honest, we didn't even consider having our wedding filmed at first. It certainly was not in our budget, and I had seen people's wedding videos from years ago and really didn't have any interest in having our guests get microphones put in their faces, or watching awkward first dances filmed in their entirety... Then I saw what a modern, beautifully crafted wedding film by Brighter Lights looked like, and I was hooked! These guys are true artists and filmmakers - their films have beautiful transitions, perfectly coordinated music, and showcase the most gorgeous moments of your big day. Plus, no one even notices them filming, so they keep the vibe natural and won't make any of your guests feel uncomfortable. Needless to say, I sent an email, set up a Skype meeting, and we booked! The only thing I regret is not going for the longer version (we did the "Highlight") because it is just so good...I wish we had more to watch! My advice for people planning right now is to try their hardest to fit Brighter Lights into their budget. At the end of the day, the photos and film are what you'll be looking at for years to come, so if at all possible, hire this company before they're booked!

At the last minute, we inquired about a setting up a photo-booth and she was able to make it all happen (and it turned out to be a fabulous addition!). And then, of course, the pictures were wonderful! Looking through the proofs was like reliving it all over again, she really captured the feeling and emotions of the day - it has been so hard to narrow down our print list! I would definitely recommend using Abraxis Photography for your next event!
