We used Boston Audio Rentals to deliver and install a Pipe & Drape for our November 2022 wedding…read more Despite assuring us that they had been to our venue "many times" and would be able to provide the Pipe & Drape, they failed to properly set up the Pipe & Drape as agreed and have since failed to respond to our request to discuss the issues following the wedding (other than one email suggesting that the problems with the setup were somehow our fault). We had a terrible experience with this company and would strongly recommend not using them. Prior to our wedding we told Boston Audio Rentals that we needed the Pipe & Drape to hide the tables which would be preset prior to our ceremony. We gave them the required setup and a picture from our venue from another wedding with our desired setup months in advance (see attached), and they received a diagram from our venue. Based on this information Boston Audio Rentals told us how many sections of Pipe & Drape we needed. On the day of the wedding their employee showed up and had no knowledge of the setup we required and had to dig through his emails to find the diagram. Once he set it up, he called the groom (point of contact) and explained that he did not have enough sections to complete the desired setup (that Boston Audio Rentals had agreed to months prior) and that he was too far from their office to obtain more sections. As you can see from the picture attached, the setup does not conceal the back of the room at all and further the sheets were also sheer which both obviously completely undermine the entire point of the Pipe & Drape in concealing the tables. We expressed our dissatisfaction during the day of the wedding, and only after involving our venue coordinator was she able to reconstruct the sections in such a way that at least the back of the venue was somewhat obstructed, but far from the agreed setup that we had paid $1000 for (plus a premature tip that was given upon the employee's arrival). We have since reached out to the company who has been almost entirely unresponsive and now suggests the problems were our fault. This experience was extremely upsetting on our wedding day. We also wanted to note that we had no other complaints about any other vendors from our wedding other than Boston Audio Rentals. We would strongly recommend avoiding this company not only for the bad outcome, but also their extremely disappointing customer service and lack of care in their final product.

They did an amazing job with the white drape and lighting. People walked in the room and were blown away. The music was perfect. We had a mix of age groups at the wedding and Joe played music for everyone. We never had an empty dance floor. We were worried not many people would dance with the generation gaps but everyone was up there all night, even my parents and older relatives who seldom dance. When we were still in the planning stages, we had a meeting with the venue and Joe attended. He had so many cool ideas with what do do in our space and worked very well with the other vendors to coordinate. We look back at the pics it takes us back to our special day with his unique touches that turned our room into a surreal vision. We even hear great songs on the radio and remember them being played at the wedding. You will not be disappointed with this team. Plus this company is a pretty well known organization around Boston and they know the ins and outs of many venues making it easy to book them since they know the places already. The DJ we chose was Joe Toto. They make it very simple and easy with first inviting you to one of their showrooms (which is their home office). The good thing about this was it made it comfortable to discuss options and you werent pressured into signing anything. Joe was professional and personable and explained each service to us and made it very easy to book the service. The prices were not bad and for the experience we received, it made it worth it. The day of the event Joe came with two other assistant DJ's and set up without a problem. He played all the requested music and took a few requests and followed our instructions to the last detail. To this day people still are talking about how fun our wedding was and how the music made the difference. I would highly recommend this company for any event.

She gave me a quick VERY reasonable quote, I sent her an inspiration photo, and we arranged for me to drop the cards off with her that evening. She promised a 24 hour turn around, as the wedding is on Saturday and she was going out of town on Friday. I dropped the cards off with Ally on Tuesday evening, and she texted me on Wednesday morning saying the cards would be ready to be picked up at 5:30 that evening. LESS that 24 hours later. The cards are stunning and I can actually relax and enjoy the wedding!! I could not recommend Ally more, she is a kind person and an incredible calligrapher.

I received a packet from this one guy with all kinds of crazy rainbow colors and smiley faces and frankly, his voice on the phone scared the crap out of me. We wanted a low-key DJ, not a show-boat. Tom was perfect. He was referred to me by a friend and we communicated briefly by phone & mostly by email. He seemed very professional and his website looked pretty detailed. When we finally met just before the wedding, I'll admit that I was afraid he might be a little too low-key. He is very calm and maybe a little mellow. Not what I had in mind for a DJ. But, we liked him all the same and all that really mattered was that he showed up and played good music. He totally delivered! He wore a nice suit and looked great. Call me shallow but that's important - his head in the background of quite a few of the photos. He was professional and knew what to play to make everyone happy. He also played all of the songs we asked him to, which is not always a given. The reception was non-stop dancing all night. We had a blast. Oh, one other thing.
