I did a bit of research about microblading before I booked an appt with Shania at Boston microblading. Although there was more reviews elsewhere, I felt like Boston microblading would be the best place for me to get my eyebrows done at. The reason being so is because other places had different types of services and not just specialized in one area. Their overall reviews were high, but partially due to other services that were rendered. I went through every store's Instagram photos, hoping to get a feel for what I want. It seems that Boston microblading was the best bet due to it's diversity of clients and it seems that the brows were drawn specifically to help bring out the features of the clients face. That's what I wanted. My first impression at Boston microblading was that this place was extremely grandiose, even though the place is small. The waiting area felt very relaxing and cute. The store is well designed, the place is very clean, and it felt very welcoming. I definitely did not feel out of place at all. Shania sat me down during my first visit and we talked about my brows. My eyebrows were done by an unprofessional a few years back, and it finally faded enough to do a new shape over it. She took pictures of my brows and showed me the leftover strokes from my previous work, pointing out that it wasn't done correctly and how it affected the way my face looked. Although it was a challenge for her, she explained to me what she could and couldn't do. She made me felt at ease and comfortable to go forward. She didn't treat it as if I was another customer and that she can do what ever she wants to get it over with. I definitely feel the professionalism, the passion to do this work, and how much she cares for her customers. She explained the process to me in a very pleasant manner, her sanitary process, etc. When it comes to shaping my brows, she drew my brows in with a pencil stroke by stroke, and asked if the shape was what I wanted before starting the whole process. As I laid down, she went over the steps and what I probably would feel during the process. She understands the discomfort of the process (could be some pain from blade/needle or from feeling a bit claustrophic) and told me in advance if I needed to take a break, just let her know. My experience with Shania was beyond amazing. I don't think I've ever had such great service in my life. Well it's definitely better than my previous experience. Once Shania was done, she had me sit up and double, triple, even quadruple check her work. Making sure there's no missing strokes, making sure the shape is even, and kept offering to have me look at the mirror to see if she's missing anything. She was such a perfectionist. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. My brows were my life! The same day after my brows were done, the color was so dark I was a bit worried. So throughout the healing process, I kept in touch with her here and there, and she was happy to assure me that the shape and the color will be better after a few weeks and to trust the process. If there was anything that wasn't perfect, the touch up will definitely cover it. I did, and no doubt it turned out so pretty!!!!! I had so many compliments. My friends loved it so much that they booked an appt with her within the few weeks of my healing process. My touch up with her, I pointed out that I actually want a higher arch, and she was able to achieve that for me even though my previous work had made it difficult for her. She spent a lot of time perfecting my eyebrows for me and I can't thank her enough. I'm so happy that I picked this place. And I would definitely recommend this place 100x over. read more

I searched and googled a ton of places that do microblading around Boston and found Shania and I'm glad I chose her. I'm super happy with my brows, I started with microblading then decided to add micro shading to it & I'm glad I did. Shania explained everything and answered all my questions. She was super meticulous while drawing/shaping my brows, made sure I was happy from beginning to end. Was super easy to contact/get ahold of with questions/concerns. My previous google map review is somehow gone. Just pasting here... I am ashamed of my brows and was told all Chinese come to her with red brows. I sent videos and pics of my brow with existing brown tattoo before booking. I just wanted to have hair strokes over my brown tattoo. I was told she can do it on my brows, which i was really happy to hear. While I understand pics never reveal the actual color, the whole experience i am ashamed of my face and my brown tattoo as Shania kept saying its too red. And all Chinese customers come with red brows. I explained maybe its just a different technique? And the color goes well with my hair color. So I like it. She then drew beautiful brows on me. It was beautiful but a different type of brows so i was starring at the mirror a bit. Shania actually shook me and told me to wake up.... She then gave me the brow pencil and told me to draw and communicate. I pointed out a few details that is not perfect. She walked away while I was explaining and told me to do it myself. I don't really know how to do brows so I borrow her rulers to ensure It is actually not balanced and I am not crazy. At that time she seems annoyed and told me that her initial brows are perfect. And she told me my eyes are of different sizes and my face are not symmetrical... she took a pic from my right side and then told me I am difficult so she will not do my brows...... Generally it makes me feels like she just dealt with a difficult Chinese client and i am a scape goat although i told her I am Taiwanese at the beginn ..... I was shock. Soooo honestly I liked my eyebrows before (they always had to stay tweezed and filled in) but they were cool as long as I did them myself. No one seemed to get them right. Shania is the best! I go to her to get my brows laminated as they are pretty thick and difficult to tame. My brows before were really thin and sparse so I wanted brows that would look better (duh) but still natural. I have dark brown hair but didn't want my brows to be too dark as I get highlights. I got by eyebrows done yesterday by Shania, best decision I've made it a long time for myself. I, like many others over plucked my eyebrows back in my high school days, and my brows have been thin and never really grew back. This being said...
