We do try to make a reservation for brunch, as I know there's usually a wait. I will say that the decor in the tipsy is one of its biggest drawers. Whoever is decorating, definitely knows what they're doing! The fireplace at the center of the restaurant is always tastefully decorated for the season. I absolutely love it! I had quite a few other $20 lobster rolls specials this summer. The amount of lobster that they give you for $20, and being able to pick your side is one of the best deals around. Not to mention the quality of the food for the $20. My Caesar salad was absolutely delicious too! The other picture I posted is one of my favorite salads that they used to make with the goat cheese "arancini". I really do miss that side, so hopefully they'll bring a back one day. It was quite the meal!

I ordered the Pumpkin Cold Brew Float which is a non alcoholic drink and got brought an alcoholic chai martini, thankfully I'm not pregnant or sober. The service was our big issue here. When they came they were pleasant however it was clear there just wasn't enough staff. There were two waitresses for the entire restaurant. Outside, upstairs, and downstairs. The gaps in between service were long, waiting for food and drinks was long, and waiting to get our bill was long. We were waiting for over 30 minutes finished with napkins on plates. The table next to us got seated, drinks, food, and was rung out before we were.

Even at 2:00 they were already starting to draw a crowd. The restaurant is very nice inside, somewhat of a modern take on a rustic BBQ joint. Service was very good, and the staff seemed friendly. Just a tad slower than I would expect for this time of day (waiting for drinks, checking in, and the check). Being from Kansas City, I am a bit of a BBQ snob, so I had to try the BBQ Festa with beans and coleslaw to give it the full traditional comparison. Cornbread with the whipped, I believe, honey butter was excellent. The loaded poutine appetizer was amazing as well. Coleslaw wasn't bad, but a tad too creamy for me. Beans were excellent, as was the thick cut brisket (my father would say it should be thin, but I absolutely loved it this way). The pulled pork was very good as well, great BBQ sauce! The ribs, unfortunately, were too dry for me. Definitely overcooked considerably (but I have found very few good rib joints since moving to New England 20 years ago!). Substantial beer selection too! Would I come back? Absolutely! I would come early, and order the brisket plate, servings are ample, so I would go for the full pound to have brisket sandwiches the next day!

By recommendation my Son pointed us to the Cask&Pig Kitchen! Upscale family restaurant sports bar from what I observed, anyways pulled into a very busy parking lot, 8 of us in the party walking in greeted warmly by 2 young ladies, informed us a 20 min wait for a table, not a problem, gave us time to finish catching up and in no time we were sat! Server young lady approached within 2 mins gathering a drink order and going over the specials of the day, I have to say the we waited 10+ mins for the drinks but we understood, bar and bar area tables all completely full with the local team on All the screens! Forgot to mention, we were sat in the bar at a large high top, Server dropping off drinks and gathering a appetizer order, going with the Trash can nachos, boom boom shrimp and the loaded chorizo baked potato! Apps arrived in 15 mins, again alittle long but worth the wait, all fantastic, I should have videoed the nacho presentation! Server taking our order for the mains, all arriving in 20 mins, again long but worth every min! The food was hot, well presented and tasting FIRE! Server checked back, refill drinks and a table sweep in 4 mins! Very nice! We were all to full for dessert but got their bread pudding to go, this was a fantastic experience! If you're in the Dartmouth MA area check it out! I've Spoken..

When you walk in, the hostess greets you and brings you to either side of the restaurant. It is almost two separate areas, each with its own bar and seating. It is a nice layout. They have very comfortable booths with large tables. Our server came over, introduced herself, and took our drink orders. The drinks were generously sized and well made. They have a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and wine. They have an enormous menu with a variety of appetizers, burgers, salads, and entrees. They also have a "specials" sheet featuring rotating specials. We ordered their fried string beans and some Caesar salads to start. Both were very good. My wife had chicken parmigiana for her entree, our friends had salmon and cod, and I had the whole belly fried clam plate (YAY!). The portions were GENEROUS. My wife's chicken parmigiana was enough for three people. Best of all, my order of clams was enormous and perfectly made. I am a complete snob when it comes to fried clams. I rarely get them, and I can say that these were among the best I have had anywhere. Price and value were excellent. We said we would be back, and we made that official. Our second visit was just as good as the first. I had a beautifully prepared Prime Rib and my wife had salmon. Don't be like us and wait 15 years. Give this place a try ASAP.

Absolutely beautiful dining atmosphere…read more We called last minute for reservations and they were fully booked but managed to get our party of 4 on the south patio which is covered. The views were beautiful. We started with cocktails at one of the high top tables- to note there isn't service to these tables we had to bring the drinks from the bar. The parking lot was packed. Testament to a restaurant to be this busy on a Monday night. The food was excellent- well prepared and flavorful. We shared a desert. Everything was well prepared and the flavors were spot on. What a beautiful hidden gem!

We had a reservation for 3:45 p.m., but arrived a little early and were promptly seated at a table by the window, which turned out to be the perfect spot for watching the storm outside. Service was slow, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy at the time. We each started with a cocktail. I ordered the Lavender Spritz, which was light and very refreshing, while hubby had the Pineapple Negroni, which was definitely on the stronger side. We each preferred our own drink, so it worked out perfectly! For appetizers, hubby had the creamy clam chowder and shrimp corn fritters. He enjoyed the fritters, but felt the chowder was more thick than creamy. I ordered the crab cake, which was okay, although I've had better elsewhere. For our main courses, hubby ordered the cornmeal crusted haddock sandwich, which he said wasn't particularly memorable, while I went with the two-pound lobster stuffed with shrimp and scallops. It came with a choice of two sides, and I chose the wild rice pilaf and asparagus. I enjoyed my lobster, and the shrimp and slices of scallops were very tasty. I just wished there had been less buttered herb crumbs stuffing, as it was heavy for my taste. We were too full for dessert, but couldn't resist taking a slice of limoncello mascarpone cake back with us to enjoy later--and it turned out to be outstanding! Overall, we felt the food was somewhat overpriced. Hubby's take was a little stronger--he felt some of his dishes reminded him of catering hall food. I think part of what you're paying for here is the waterfront location and view.
