Our wedding party loved him and were very relaxed for the photos, he even got a few pics of our ring bearer not crying or hiding his face behind his hands, trust me, NO easy feat!! :D We got our photos back this week and they look great, he even did some teasers photos he touched up the night of the wedding! Can't say enough how lucky we are to have had Greg for our wedding.

He spent a lot of time with us, and got some really terrific shots. He got the DVD to us, as promised, eight days after the shoot. My daughter is very happy with the pictures; her skin, which is actually very uneven, looked smooth yet natural in the photos that he retouched. Very nicely done. He was able to capture her spirit even though they had never met prior to he photo shoot. We couldn't be happier. He did a great job, he was easy to work with, and he was timely returning phone calls and emails, and the photos were ready earlier than we needed them.

We hired Deb to photograph my parents' 50th wedding anniversary in August 2025. Family traveled in…read morefrom out of state, and this photo session was meant to be my gift to my parents. We are not the type of family that normally arranges professional photos, which made this even more meaningful to us. After the event, I repeatedly followed up throughout fall 2025 asking for access to the gallery. When Deb finally sent it in november, I discovered that the majority of the photos were missing. There was not even a single photo of my entire family together from that day. I was later told that the photos had been accidentally destroyed. The situation was heartbreaking and incredibly disappointing. Since then, I have continued asking for access to the few photos that did survive -- especially the pictures of my parents with the grandchildren and photos of the kids alone -- simply so I could download and print hard copies for our family. It has now been many months without any response or download link being provided. What makes this even harder is that Deb had photographed my daughters since they were toddlers, nearly every year for the six years. Not only did we lose irreplaceable memories from a once-in-a-lifetime family celebration, but the experience also completely damaged that trust. I understand that technical issues can happen, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability afterward has made an already painful situation far worse. Nearly a year later, we still do not have access to the few images of that day.

Working with Emily O'Brien exceeded all of our expectations for our first ever professional family…read morephotographs. I had the opportunity to meet with Emily prior to our photo shoot to discuss location choices, wardrobe ideas, print options and equally important my children's personalties so she could be most prepared. Right from the start Emily was warm, welcoming and professional. At the shoot, Emily made everyone comfortable and could not have been more patient with my boys, ages 4 and 9, getting the best out of them while making it a fun experience. At the viewing appointment, I was almost brought to tears when seeing the priceless keepsakes Emily created of my family. The coastal setting combined with the afternoon lighting, Emily captured the most amazing photos of my boys. Emily carefully helped me narrow down our images into favorites and from there guided me into selecting photos for our walls, taking space and measurements as well as my personal style into consideration. Since we've had the photos decorating our walls, we've had family and friends rave about the quality and beauty of Emily's photography. From beginning to end, the process was seamless and memorable. Emily O'Brien is outstanding.

What I received from Emily from our family photo shoot is beyond my expectations. She captured my three boys incredibly in all their various looks, moods, expressions . . . and even got fabulous shots of our whole family together . . . all five of us! My husband and I will treasure these high quality photographs forever as a beautiful memory of this moment in time. We loved them so much, we ordered an album and three framed prints as well. The album is incredible, and the framed photos are stunning on our wall at home. Lastly, but just as important, Emily is awesome to work with. She consulted with me before the shoot to discuss location and clothing options, etc., which was really helpful, and then she was great with my kids and all-around fun to be with during our photo session. It was literally a totally enjoyable experience. She's such a natural! Then afterwards, I got the pleasure of meeting with Emily to review all the photos and the awesome video she made of my family. Wow, such a joy! She helped me to make decisions about photos, and together we created such gorgeous pieces. I felt like she was my friend by the end of our consultation session. The whole experience was hugely positive. I'm a big fan!

I reached out to many photographers, and was impressed not just by the portfolio of Boston Portrait Company but also by their responsiveness as I was able to get an appointment within a few days. Upon arriving at the studio, Nichole patiently walked through the process and allowed me to feel comfortable with my first professional photography session and in the midst of COVID (she wore her mask the whole time and had separate buckets for used items). Once we started shooting, Nichole positioned me in ways that would capture my best angles and allowed me to see the photos in real-time so I knew what to adjust. Following the session, we went through all of the photos and she patiently helped me select which photo would be best suited for my purpose. I got my photo the next day and couldn't have asked for a better product! The photo came out phenomenal thanks to her expert camera skills, understanding of people's best angles, and retouches. I could not be more pleased or recommend Nichole enough and will be using Boston Portrait Company for any such occasion in the future.

I take my bump selfies on a regular but nothing compares to beautiful professional photos that show your connection to the beautiful human you are growing. I'm so happy I was able to find Shirley whom I connected with, which is so important. Shirley was FANTASTIC! I've voiced to her numerous times already with how comfortable she made me feel. It's honestly really hard to get me out of my shell, but Shirley's personality and spirit made me forget I was an introvert and didn't like being in front of the camera lol I contemplated for a while on whether or not I wanted to do maternity photos, but I'm glad I did. I feel in LOVE with the sneak peek, and then when I saw the proofs I fell in love all over again! They were perfect. We were able to get 3 outfits, beautiful shots in each, and only an hour at the beach and the sunset was perfect. I'm already planning in my head a photo shoot with Shirley for when my rainbow baby arrives thanks again, Shirley! Your work is amazing.
