We had some last minute changes and Chris kept a great attitude the whole time, he worked with us in many different ways. He truly cares about the client and will do whatever it takes to get the great shots. Not only is his photography beautiful, but the fact that he truly cares about the client is even more valuable and hard to find these days.

Luckily, he connected us with Chris, who immediately did a call with us the next morning (the day before our wedding). Chris had been given our engagement photos, so he had a sense for our style, and he walked us through the day and the information he needed. Most importantly to us was to have our photographer take charge, and keep our families on task, while paying attention to the details so we didn't have to. To say that Chris did that would be an understatement. He arrived at the hotel even earlier than we asked, and immediately brought positive energy into the space. Once we moved to the venue, he efficiently directed our very lively friends and family through all of the poses and photos we wanted without us needing to say a word. My wife and I were truly able to just enjoy the day, knowing we'd get everything we asked for. Chris edits all of his photos individually by hand so that we got only the best, and he truly captured the New England fall essence. Chris gets our highest recommendation and we feel so lucky that we got to work with him!

So as Brian has started venturing into family portraits and wedding photography, it's no surprise that he captures such warm and authentic moments---with people this time---as his subjects. I had the pleasure of being photographed by Brian when I needed a professional head shot for the Improper Bostonian magazine, and my session with him went like this: he found just the right backdrops (and lighting) to shoot against; he made me feel entirely at ease; and he sent half a dozen edited photos over e-mail to me the very night of that shoot, since I needed a photo quickly. Such a pleasure to work with, such an awesome talent. You would be wise to invite him to capture your special day.

I have been engaged for about 7 months now and have gotten to enjoy many aspects of being engaged…read more(picking out a wedding dress, the venue, etc.), but my experience with Nate taking our engagement pictures has been hands down my favorite part. First and foremost, Nate is extremely professional and punctual. From our initial contact, to receiving our final pictures, Nate was very candid and clear in his communication. This is something that I truly appreciate because photographers can get very busy in their line of work, but I did not once feel as if I was put on the back burner and always felt like a priority. Whenever I reached out to Nate, he was always very quick to respond. He was also quick in getting our pictures back to us! Nate is also really fun to be around. When taking engagement pictures, there are many location changes and outfit changes that require a lot of public bathrooms and Uber rides/drives! My fiancé and I had the best time running around with Nate--it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. This was also the case when taking pictures. It didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable to pose. He made us feel very relaxed and natural. Aside from his professionalism and personality, the pictures we received are absolutely timeless. I cannot count how many times people have said to us "those look like they were from a magazine!" I worried so much about our pictures turning out awkward or forced as if we were just any other engaged couple taking pictures, but Nate really captured our personalities and made the pictures unique to us. When I first contacted Nate, I had a particular vision in mind. I live in Florida but my fiancé and I planned to take our pictures in Boston where we met. I told Nate the places I wanted to shoot and what I was thinking--without hesitation he took some shots just as I imagined and I love them. However, the shots he got that were the best and are my absolute favorite were the ones where he asked "do you want to try this?" and we agreed. They were pictures that I would have never thought to take and they turned out amazing. This is why I think Nate is the best when it comes to capturing whatever special moment in your life that needs capturing--he can execute exactly what you are thinking and hoping for, but he can also add something even better than you'd imagine yourself. Having Nate as your photographer for whatever occasion is a decision that you will be glad you made!

It seems that Sam's specialty is non-traditional weddings, and he did an awesome job! We met with him a couple of times before the wedding to go over ideas for poses and pictures and to finalize a timeline. He's professional and polite, but fun and friendly, too. By the end, we felt more like friends than his clients On the day of the wedding, he made sure to get all of the poses on the list and was flexible enough to go with the flow when things just didn't work out like we planned (and let's be honest, things rarely go according to plan). Many, many of our guests mentioned to us afterwards how impressed they were with Sam's work...and that was even before we saw the pictures. We got access to our online gallery about 3 weeks after the wedding, and the pictures are phenomenal, just drop dead gorgeous! He got all of the important shots, but even got close up pictures of all of the decorations, too. His attention to detail is really to be commended. All the photos that I felt I appeared awkward, actually turned out to be quite beautiful. Sam was always able to capture moments with his photography - this added to the "natural" non-rehearsed feel of the photos. He captured a lot of really fun moments - real emotion is conveyed through his photographs. The photos themselves are beautiful!! Sam really has an eye for color and lighting. What I love the most about the photos is that he tells a story... the story of our love, our wedding ceremony, and then the absolute blast we had at our reception. When I look through the photos, I am re-living the intensely joyous and memorable event our wedding was. I highly recommend Ze Liang Photography.
