Daniela was, HANDS DOWN, the best vendor decision I made for my entire wedding. Not only is she…read moretremendously talented, she is the sweetest soul you will ever meet. From start to finish, we were so pleased with her services. We opted to take advantage of Daniela's complimentary engagement session. We met out by Beavertail Lighthouse (apparently one of her favorite spots around town). This was really the first time that my husband and I had taken pictures of this nature so, of course, we were just a little anxious going into it all. Daniela made everything SO easy, fun, and relaxed. The very next day she sent over a few sneak peak pics from the engagement session. The photos were STUNNING. It made me even more excited to have her as my photographer! On the day of the wedding Daniela showed up and we just had a brief conversation about any of the pictures I specifically wanted. I also gave her a list of my "need to have" pics. She made sure that all of these were taken. Further, we did all of our family/wedding party pics BEFORE the ceremony, which was probably the greatest idea ever. My wedding party was actually able to enjoy cocktail hour while my husband and I snagged just a few more shots we wanted. I would also like to note that it can sometimes be difficult herding a large group of people and also fitting them into one picture with a cohesive look. Daniela was a master at this and, again, just such a sweet and calm presence. During the actually wedding Daniela walked around with a big smile on her face. When I received my pictures I was just floored. I knew that they were going to be good because I already saw the engagement pics but the wedding pics just blew everything out of the water. She captured every intricate detail so beautifully. I'm so grateful I hired Daniela! She is a genuinely kind, wonderful, TALENTED person. If I could hire her to take pictures for every single major (or even minor) life event, I would. We kept saying "let's be real life friends!!" all throughout the wedding LOL! She just really is one of those people that you love being around. Words truly cannot express how much my husband and I loved having Daniela as our wedding photographer. If you can snag her for your wedding, DO SO ASAP! It will be your best wedding decision too!!!

We had an amazing experience with Sister City Photography for our annual Christmas card photos…read more Daniela went above and beyond from start to finish. We chose to shoot in the South End to capture the beautiful brownstones and fall foliage, and the photos turned out even better than I imagined. Our situation was a bit tricky because we were working around a sleepy 6-month-old. Daniela kindly adjusted her schedule at the last minute so our baby could take a full nap beforehand, something any parent will appreciate! During the shoot, she gave us so much direction on how to stand, pose, and find the best lighting, which made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. People walking by even stopped to say how great the photos were going to look -- and they were right. The images came out stunning. I've received so many compliments on our Christmas card this year, and it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful of photos because everything she captured was perfect. Daniela truly brought my vision to life and beautifully documented our memories in Boston. I can't recommend Sister City Photography enough for anyone looking for thoughtful, high-quality family photos.

I sent them to a friend who had already booked her own newborn photo shoot and she said she regretted putting down a deposit with another photographer because she loved Nicole's style! We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. I had the opportunity to meet with Emily prior to our photo shoot to discuss location choices, wardrobe ideas, print options and equally important my children's personalties so she could be most prepared. Right from the start Emily was warm, welcoming and professional. At the shoot, Emily made everyone comfortable and could not have been more patient with my boys, ages 4 and 9, getting the best out of them while making it a fun experience. At the viewing appointment, I was almost brought to tears when seeing the priceless keepsakes Emily created of my family. The coastal setting combined with the afternoon lighting, Emily captured the most amazing photos of my boys. Emily carefully helped me narrow down our images into favorites and from there guided me into selecting photos for our walls, taking space and measurements as well as my personal style into consideration. Since we've had the photos decorating our walls, we've had family and friends rave about the quality and beauty of Emily's photography. From beginning to end, the process was seamless and memorable.
