As someone who genuinely loves the sport of pool and grew up in billiard halls in South Florida, I…read moreNEVER imagined I would leave one feeling the way I did. I came to The Billiard Club expecting a great night of pool. Instead I spent approximately 30 minutes dealing with a disruptive individual playing next to us whose behavior continued to escalate. Once I saw the disruption affecting other patrons and people beginning to move away from the area I gave management a heads up because I believed the situation had reached the point where it needed to be professionally handled. Unfortunately that didn't happen. The situation continued to escalate until it eventually turned into one of the most humiliating experiences I've ever had in a business. I left feeling publicly ridiculed completely unsupported and most importantly UNSAFE as the disruptive person I warned them about, attacked me. Jason the bartender "manager" eventually became involved but from my perspective & anyone else who witnessed it, nothing about his response de-escalated the situation. If anything the environment became even MORE chaotic because of him. In a business built around hospitality and customer experience I expected leadership that knew how to calm a situation...NOT allow it to continue & also disrupt the tournament that was taking place... super unfair to the players & patrons in general who came to have a good time. The only people who showed me any sense of kindness or made me feel even remotely safe that night were Shay and Jared. I genuinely appreciated them. I waited 2 weeks before writing this because I wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt. I had heard from multiple people that if the general manager Michael knew what had happened things would be handled differently So I went back last night... I went back because I'm a pool player and I refused to let 1 terrible experience take away a game I've loved my entire life.. besides being a born & raised local girl. I asked to introduce myself to Michael but that hasn't happened yet. Businesses can't control every customer. They absolutely can control how they respond when a customer warns them that a situation is escalating and other patrons are being affected. No one should ever walk into a pool hall expecting to enjoy the game they love and leave feeling UNSAFE, unsupported and publicly humiliated. I sincerely hope this serves as a wake-up call for management because no customer should have the experience I did. I managed night clubs and restaurants for 15+ years from hole in the walls to high end venues in Broward county & this still takes the cake for worlds worst experience from "management" Shay & Jared are the only ones who have some sense at least.. maybe they should teach the others on staff how to be hospitable. Ladies (especially)... be careful going here.

This is usually the more busy side, and very smokey. This place allows smoking inside. Must have been grandfathered in somehow over the decades. Be prepared. If you don't mind smelling like an ashtray the rest of the night, this place is for you. Because it is smokey and you will reek. I've been here quite a few times, it's one of my closest local drinking establishments. Drinks are cheap, the people are loud, and they are there to do some drinking and smoking (or vaping weed lol). It's loud because of all the games on the one side, and is also livelier on weekends. The other side is more chill, has a lot of TVs and it's great for watching sporting events, especially Panthers hockey is big here (I got to watch 4 Nations hockey tourney which was on every TV, so that was a score). There are electronic darts on this side as well. People here are down to earth and I've met some cool people here over the years. I should get here more often, but I'm at the age where I don't park myself in smokey bars as much as my younger days. There's no food, only games and drinking. You can however, order delivery and eat it wherever inside- one bartender encouraged it. Friends and I have had pizzas delivered before. Bartenders are always pretty cool. Great local watering hole that you can smoke or vape in, which is rare. Drinks are cheap and people are chill. It's an unique split bar- divey type bar great for watching sports on one side and playing various games on the other bar side, and a favorite of mine.

The food was surprisingly good too the chicken wings were flavorful and cooked perfectly, the fries were hot and crispy, and the blueberry lemon drop cocktail was refreshing and delicious. Wings Beer Balls ... all pretty good…read more I can't play pool to save my life but on a rainy Monday I was in the area and remember seeing a post about their 56 cent wings. I pull into the packed parking lot and greeted by some friendly smoking patrons on the outside. Inside people are split between tables and the big screen tvs. Near seen so many Bear fans at a bar in south Florida. The whole venue is neat and organized. I park myself at the bar, start chatting with a neighbor, grab a few Jack Daniels on the rocks, and order the minimum 10 wings. Drinks come out fast - that's why I got a few. I was late in the 3rd before the wings appear. Big, juice, and the sauces were good. Best would be the Hot Honey Garlic and the Hot Honey BBQ. Neither really that hot but plenty of flavor. Waitress was friend and quickly wrapped up the rest for great left overs for work the next day. Very casual and chill spot. Definitely pop in and experience it for yourself.

We had no wait and were seated promptly. Our waiter, Johnny, was wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and with recommendations. He kept my tea and lemonade refilled without me ever having to ask. We all ordered schnitzel, each with a different pairing: fries, an arugula and goat cheese salad, or a Caesar salad. One friend also had a bowl of mushroom and Brie soup, and another ordered a side Caesar. Everything was fantastic. The salads were fresh and flavorful, and the schnitzel was excellent. The mushroom gravy that came with the schnitzel had a subtle wine flavor--so good that I already know I'll be ordering it again next time.
