I stopped but today to pawn some video games. The workers were so polite and friendly. I enjoyed talking to the guy that works there with the beard ‍, you'll know him when you see him! He was very informative about everything and professional. To be honest, both workers were professional and polite! The store was well stocked and clean with neat paintings and nice electronics. I'm thinking about coming back if I want a new tv or even a laptop. I've been to pawn shops before, but this was the most pleasant one I've been. Since I've lived here. -Natasha read more

Friendly staff and helpful. They were understanding of my predicament was nice to make small talk with.

I came in looking for a new phone with very specific demands. Colin and his brother were very friendly and very patient with me and answered all my questions with detail and clarity. Shop is very well maintained and has very nice products in stock from game authentic jerseys to well mainted electronics all priced very competitively. I would 100% recommend this shop definitely the best pawn shop compared to the other 3 stores in the area I was around. read more

Jesse V is Here! So I'm stopped at a traffic light by this Pawn Shop and I remember that Jesse V works here. I shoot a quick text and say Hello and tell him I'm right by the Margate Pawn Shop. He answers and tells me he's there and that I should stop by. I tell him my wife and I are on are way to Flanagan's and I'll hit him up later. We get to Flanagan's and as we are eating I text Jesse and ask him if he has any good radios or Portable generators. He says no to the generators by yes to the radios. I said I'm looking for a Bluetooth Radio that has really good sound etc...he has a Polk one that's really good and that he will sell for it a good price. He tells me the price and I look it up on google. Whoa his price is good so I have to go check this out. The Deal I drop my wife off and go to the shop. Jesse buzzes me in and we shoot the shit. I have to say Jesse cleans up nice. He was in a business shirt and slacks. His demeanor was not would you expect if you seen him post on threads. He was very professional and didn't even crack one joke. Honestly I'm not sure if I like the business Jesse V. LOL. He shows me the radio and it's still in the box. He offered to plug it in and have me inspect it. I was kinda in a rush so I said that was ok. He then states that if I take it home and it doesn't work or I don't like it he will refund my money. Cool. I'm telling you this thing retails for 300 bucks new and Jesse gave me an awesome price. I pay cash and off I go. The Goods I get home and plug this bad boy in. I read the directions which were in the box and cut this on. I connect my phone to it and start playing one of my favorite U2 songs, Exit. Hot damn the sound is fantastic and loud for a small square box. I'll be the envy of everyone at my FAU Football Tailgate parties. The Verdict You would be crazy not to stop here and check out what he is selling. I'm a big fan of Jesse V and now of his shop too. Remember to tell Jesse I sent you so I can get a kickback on the next thing I buy from him;) Stay Shopping! read more

Had a great experience at Margate Pawn a few days ago. I went to a few others around the same area and they were rude and obnoxious, and they offered me nothing for my jewelry. Came into Margate Pawn thinking it's going to be like the others, but it wasn't. Colin was wonderful, and he was easy going. We worked out a price that fit both of our needs then I was on my way. This is the best pawn shop I have been to in awhile and will continue to do business with them. Thanks! read more

So this was my first time selling something in a pawn shop and I gotta say I'll definitely go back! Colin was awesome and gave me a great price on some jewelry I had wanted to sell! I had stopped in one other place right before and they offered me less than half of what Colin said it was worth and the other place seemed super sketchy- so sketchy in fact it almost stopped me from going to another pawn shop altogether!! So glad I stopped in here!! Thanks Colin!! read more

Stay away....they take in stolen jewelry. (But then most pawn shops probably do as well) They have thousands of dollars of my personal jewelry, stolen from my house in early June. They had to know it was stolen because there were names engraved on many pieces. Then they intentionally misspelled both first and last name in police database. I plan to sue. read more

I went to this pawnshop with several pieces of gold to sell. I was asked how much I wanted and told them $300.00. After they tested all the gold, they gave me $700.00. I left there knowing this place wasn't a rip off and I did go back with more gold. They treated me like I was part of the family and again gave me more than I asked. They could have given me any amount I asked, but gave me what I now know a really fair deal. I'm telling everyone how great this pawnshop is. read more
