I reached out via text, and immediately got a response and subsequent call. The owner/operator, Robert (ask him about the story of the business name) is a super nice guy, runs a one man show, and he's passionate about his work. He arrived literally within a half hour of our first contact, and after a brief chat, he got to work. Our vent exits to the roof, and he found (among THREE trips up to the roof) that our roofer had left the poly screen in place on the vent housing (a code no-no) and it was blocked to about 90%. He removed the screen and clean out the loose crud up there, then went to work inside. After thoroughly cleaning the ducting, he went back up top to verify that the cleaning tool was indeed "topped out" at the vent exit, ensuring that everything was completely spotless. A huge pile of debris was the result, which he cleaned completely prior to finishing up. Robert is a super nice guy to work with, the price was literally less than half of an estimate we received from our A/C company, and again, you're supporting a one man locally owned and operated company, someone who lives in the community. Seriously, call Robert if you need this service (and if you don't remember when you had it done, you probably do). He'll fix you up!

After the first few months of moving in, when my daughter had her air purifier plugged in I could use the hair drier in the bathroom. If I got both to work, the power went out in both rooms. I called Sorensen and they came out and looked at it and said everything was normal. After that we just got used to not using that bathroom outlet. Also, 1 month of moving in, outside light bulbs went out, and after 6months of moving in, slowly one by one out light bulbs-- ones in the ceiling started to go out. I wasn't concerned with 1or 2 and since the ceiling was so high, I thought I'd wait to change them when a few more go out. So within about 3-4 more months more light bulbs went out. I looked them up to buy them on amazon and when I read about them, they are supposed to last 10,000 hours/9 years when used for 3hrs per day. Sorensen either installed used light bulbs or there is something wrong with wiring in the house. So I call and leave a message with a person on Monday and was told would get a call back tomorrow. I called Tuesday and was told I'll get a call Wednesday. I finally wait until Thursday to call and was first HUNG UP ON, I called back and the lady who answers says, "your ticket wasn't picked up and it's backed up 2 weeks. All the closings on new homes come first." So basically I was told, 'your problem doesn't pay us any money so you will have to wait until all the people who need to pay us get serviced first.' First, you got paid when we built our home. This is very poor after service. It's been a little over a year since we built our home, and every issue I've called about (which were only 3 issues) they've brushed off or try to ignore. I've contacted Darling homes to get this resolved. Perhaps if Darling Homes calls, they won't ignore or hang up on the hand that feeds them.
