I ordered online with little time to spare before Christmas. The items I selected (three Simon Pearce evergreen trees) were in stock and shipped and delivered on time. Everything came securely packaged and beautifully gift wrapped. I'm in MA but wouldn't hesitate to order from Borsheims again- I was very happy with everything. read more

A friend and went to Borsheims on a busy Saturday and Ryan was beyond helpful. We weren't buying the Hope Diamond, but it sure didn't matter to Ryan. You are always greeted the minute someone sees you and the managers are always walking around making sure the service is 5-star. I think something people forget is that they sell things that regular folks can afford. My friend got an amazing necklace well within her budget. If you haven't already been a shopper there. You should go. Make sure to ask for Ryan for top-top service. read more

This is the place to buy any jewelry or fine goods. Extremely large selection of watches, jewelry and other great gifts. My friends always think Borsheims is this overpriced jewelry and they can't afford. This couldn't be further from the truth. You get more bang for your buck and they will prove it. Come get a price from them and go to your chains. They won't beat it. I've had 2 engagement rings plus wedding bands from here. I get compliments weekly on how beautiful my set is. All the staff is helpful but I stick with Deb A. She won't do you wrong and she knows her stuff. I've referred many people to her and they all adore her. Love this store and would love to add more bling to my ring in the future!! read more

Borsheims' watchmaker is a pro - definitely now my go-to when I need a watch worked on in Omaha. One of my watches with an ETA 2824-2 movement got knocked off of a table onto a wood floor and was running very erratically - sometimes losing two minutes in a few hours. I had the watch back in a little over 24 hours and was charged $20 for a regulation by Borsheims' watchmaker and it is now running +0 seconds after 8 days (with no daily fluctuation at all) - better than when it came from the factory. read more

High praise to Borsheims Repair Department! Brenda, the Jeweler and Donna in customer service in repairs are wonderful! They were professional and caring. This was a great combination for "anxious me"who had a ring stuck on my finger. Brenda and Donna are two of the reasons that Borsheims is the best! read more

Purchased a designer bracelet and Scottish Terrier charm after losing our little girl, as a keepsake. Purchased on Friday while in town visiting, broke on Sunday, returned to store Tuesday only to be treated rude and uncaringly by the entire Borsheims staff. They passed me around and it took an hour for them to tell me I'd have to wait to have it fixed! Didn't bother to see if they have another available! Kept leaving me waiting in different parts of the store - not a high end business or service and certainly not high quality product even though it was expensive. My husband and I have lived in Minneapolis for two years originally from Omaha! What terrible service and staff especially Cheri in sales! Guess I'll go to Tiffany's in the cities! read more

Hands down the classiest and nicest jewelry store I have ever been to. I am not a shopper and usually run in and out of any store in 10 minutes...when I am at Borsheim's - its a totally different story. I could spend hours in this place. The staff hands down gives the best customer service of any store i have ever been to. i have a few different pieces from Tiffany's, which I absolutely love, but I will tell you, I will never go back to Tiffany after my experience with Borsheim's. Each time I have gone there, I have received excellent customer service and not in a pushy way. Now, when I am visiting Omaha I make a point of going to Borsheim's - when I was there last weekend I was greeted by first and last name by Ryan who I had purchased a few things from over the past few years (ok - I e-mailed him that I was in town and said that I was probably going to do some shopping while I was getting my watch battery replaced, but he knows that I am not what I would say is a "high dollar" customer and he still went out of his way to help me). Ryan was not afraid to give his opinion on what I wanted and to show me some items more in my price range after I was disappointed that what I really wanted was WAY out of my range this year. In fact, when I was there about 1 1/2 years ago and had to make an exchange on my diamond earrings because I lost one (ouch), Ryan actually came to Paradise Cafe (located in the same shopping center) to tell me that my earrings were discontinued, but he had picked out a few different ones that he thought I would like....talk about customer service!! I am constantly getting compliments on my purchases at Borsheim's, which proves that they were worth every penny! Hopefully one day I will be able to increase my budget and buy the BIG diamonds! read more

I'm writing an update just to express how impressed I am with the watch department manager, Sue. Being on the low end of the salary food chain I'm not used to receiving personal phone calls of apology from places that are more accustomed to higher end clientele. But I received a very heartfelt, sincere apology from the management which leads me to believe that perhaps this was a once in blue moon mistake. I can't say for certain that another piece of loose material suddenly appeared or not, but they were concerned enough to contact me and that goes a long way. read more

You really won't find another store anywhere like this in Omaha. The service is incredible and the selection can't be matched. I happened upon Borhseims when I was looking for a place to have a watch band shortened, but I hadn't bought it in Omaha. They did it for free at Borsheims without complaint or without trying to sell me anything. I'm not much into jewelry (I prefer to spend my money on food and dresses), but if I ever had a real reason to invest in a piece of jewelry, this would be the place I'd look. read more

Not much of a shopper so this was like any other mall jewelry store. It was fun to see the Berkshire Hathaway name on the door but, even a Christmas ornament was out of my budget. read more

UNFRIENDLY AND CONDESCENDING We went in to look at engagement rings with my son and NO one would even give us the time of day. We were dressed casual. Neat. But not black tie. It started with glares from the security guards. The place was empty and I know several employees saw us. No one would budge. Finally, my wife asked for help. When my son said his girlfriend wanted something other than a diamond, the woman scoffed and said that was a horrible choice and that she would never accept that kind of ring from a boyfriend. She said it would never last. My son said, "Well that's what she wants." The woman just stared-so we left. The rudeness and superiority complex in the store means we will NEVER go back. read more

Their quality of product is fantastic...it is the service that can be tough. Maybe it is just when you look young no one wants to assist you, but I've had a terrible time trying to get assistance over the years here even when the store is dead. It's like pulling teeth trying to get someone to show you anything. Ending up buying my 2ct engagement ring somewhere else because we simply couldn't get anyone to assist us on any of the 3 occasions we visited. read more

This is one of the finest company that I have delt with in many years. Their employees genuinely care about their customers and will go the extra mile to make them happy. This was my first time to order from them online for products I didn't even know a fine jewelry store would carry, but their prices were so much lower than the places that normally carry these items that I gave them a try. Fortunately, I ordered early for Christmas gifts and they could not immediately fill my entire order. But they called me immediately and I agreed to hold the shipment of my full order until all of the items were included. Once they were ready to ship, they called me to let me know they were on the way. I definitely recommend shopping here and I will be shopping here again for sure. read more

There is no way to express the excellence of service my fiancée and I receive every time we walk through the door. Rodney spent a lot of time with my fiancée helping him choose the most perfect ring for me. I am in the store every 4 weeks for regular cleanings and they are always welcoming, ready to help , exceeding expectations on customer service. We will be purchasing our bands there soon .... would never even think of going elsewhere! A beautiful store , with beautiful jewelry and wonderful people read more

My fiancée and I came here for all of our wedding ring related needs and had an absolute blast working with Elizabeth! She assisted us with everything, and made sure that we were completely 100% overjoyed with our finished products. I would be happy to both recommend her and work with her again. If I were basing this review solely on our experience with Elizabeth it would be a 5 star review, no doubt about it. Our customer service experiences with Tracy, however, left a lot to be desired. I wish I could tell you what exactly about my fiancée and I ruffled her feathers, but her attitude towards us was very clear- she did not care for us, did not want to do business with us, and did not have the time or energy to hide those feelings from us. Sure, her actions may have been unrelated to our presence, but I do not care to do business with people that take their frustrations out on their customers. I would suggest taking a deep breath and counting to ten next time, prior to being abrasive and short with your customers. read more

World class service. STELLAR jewelers/customer service department. Extremely educated sales people in the jewelry department. Trustworthy. GREAT prices - I'll NEVER buy nice jewelry anywhere else...never! Would never take my jewelry elsewhere to be worked on! If you've only been once and had a subpar experience, TRY AGAIN. Something for EVERYONE...jewelry from $20 - Millions...literally something for EVERYONE read more

Love the store! Also have shopped them online and catalog before that. Great place for fine gifts. The above is just my opinion and not to be construed as libel or endorsement. Visit yourself and get off the phone. read more

I bought my first Tissot here, as a young person walking in you would think that most people wouldn't give you the attention that you desire or deserve. However, the person that helped me in the watch department was absolutely awesome, she took all the time we needed and made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. That was cool! Since then I've continued to purchase from them in store and online. I went in once and I was hooked! read more

fabulous store, we have been buying all our special occasion jewelry here for 30 years. The sales associates are wonderful ,so helpful. In 30 years I have only had 2 and that's because the first retired. I have many gorgeous pieces. .rings, bracelets, necklaces..men's watches read more

Gone way down hill. Used to be the place to shop. Last summer went in to buy 3 wedding shower gifts. Sales was very helpful but everything "unique" we picked out was out of stock. Had to settle for regular items I could have bought anywhere. In fact I remember years ago where I asked about Belleek and was told they don't sell items you can find in common stores and now they sell pandora!! The last pieces of jewelry we have bought there ended up being nothing more then over priced costume jewelry. When I took them back there was nothing they could about the finish. Mr buffet has once again turned an icon into a junk store. Will not shop there again which is sad because we knew Ike by name. We picked out our wedding China from the basement in his downtown store. Brides don't even register there any more. So sad that another icon has been driven into the ground by Buffett. read more

Exceptional sales pre purchase/purchase behavior. If have problems are quick to say they will make it right. They determine what is right. Purchased TAG watch, numbers fade on face within 18 months. Would not issue new watch or return money, but re numbered those faded. Six months later more fading. Within 3 years watch was sent back 3 times for same issue. Watch obviously flawed, money paid for watch was not flawed. On one send back of watch they kept timepiece for several weeks and claimed they sent back to manufacturer to insure correcting issue. Later found they did not send back to manufacturer. They replaced face of watch on last return. Management would not return call neither would they return email. Great on assurances poor on satisfactory results. Will not purchase another item at Borsheim's. I'm a stockholder. First satisfactory price on the shares, I'lll be selling. read more

I went to Borsheim's to purchase an engagement ring based on the recommendations of several coworkers. Being is such a large and significant purchase I did a lot of research online and actually found a stone that I liked and thought was a good price at JamesAllen.com. I felt like I wanted to see the band in person as there are so many different choices. The sales person spent a lot of time with me going through and picking out several different option and helping me pick the setting I liked. This was definitely the most beneficial part of my purchase that Borsheim's helped with. I showed the sales person the stone on the James Allen website I liked and was confronted with the usual drawbacks of buying online (not being able to see the stone in person) and the mounting fee which I expected. She then brought out comparable stones. They even looked into possibly buying the stone from James Allen then selling it to me. They were not able to do this I'm assuming because the profit margins were just too small. Eventually after some back and forth I was offered a slightly smaller stone at a slightly higher price (significantly reduced from their original price). Shortly after the purchase I moved to Chicago. The ring size I thought was correct ended up being to big after looking into shipping it back to Borsheim's so that they could ship it to the ring designer to be resized we ended up finding a local dealer to size it and have it done in less than a week. When it came time to purchase wedding bands I thought it would be best to find a local dealer (Chicago) to deal with so as to avoid all the shipping and sizing problems involved with doing out of town business. I took a look at my sales receipt and found that the sku or model number was unique to Borsheim's. I called to find out what the actual designer model number was and was told that their policy was not to give out that information. I found this to be extremely deceptive. After being told that they could match if not beat any price offered by another dealer how would I know without design/model number of the original. I'm guessing this practice is used to keep business at Borsheim's and prevent the customer from taking their business elsewhere. After more research I figured out the designer model number and asked borsheim's for a quote online. In an effort to keep my business at Borsheim's I requested a quote for the matching wedding band via email with the actual designer model number. I received the quote with in minutes and asked if she could verify that that is indeed the matching wedding band (gave borsheims unique sku, model #, and sale reciept #) if so i would like to make the purchase. Strangely that is where our email conversation promptly stopped. I took my business elsewhere. I'm not sure if you will find this review helpful or not. Despite my frustrations I tried to keep it pretty objective. Long story short. Borsheim's isn't the only game in town. I will happily pay more somewhere else then return to Borsheim's lacking customer service and seemingly shady business practices. read more

Sales person I worked with did not have great follow up. I was having to get my ring fixed and it took a month the first time and was wrong. Followed by another 3 weeks just to get a resolution in place. The work was done free of charge but it was the lack of communication that was disappointing. Stop sending emails to your distributors, pick up the phone and call them. I was fine waiting but I didn't know what was going on from week to week. I had to do a lot of the follow up. Just horrible communication and zero urgency. Will only go back as my ring was purchased with them and will need it's maintance. I will not be purchasing my wedding bands from this company. read more

Omaha gem! Borsheims is SO much fun! The staff is friendly and I swear there is a minimum karat requirement to wear to work here! Although I have bought multiple pieces of jewelry from here - I order gifts for others and buy from the gift shop frequently. Their wedding registry is easy and a consultant will sit with you and make sure everything is perfect! Anytime I have visitors stay with me - I make sure part of the Omaha "tour" is making a stop here! Their gift wrapping is signature and beautiful! Getting your ring cleaned is a quick and easy system and takes around 30 minutes - which gives you time to walk around! AND after holidays they mark their stuff down from 50% to eventually 75%. I have loaded up on beautiful home decor for the holidays by being patient and waiting after a holiday. From HOBO brand bags to Simon Pearce and Kosta Boda - you can't go wrong! Prices range depending on your interest and budget. They also host special events from the jewelry makers to the creators of some of their merchandise. Always a fun experience! read more
