Was surprised to find that this place doesn't exist on Yelp yet, but anyway this is a new vintage…read moreshop that opened up in St. Louis about two months ago. I think my first thought when entering the store was that these types of places don't usually exist in smaller, more low-key cities like St. Louis. Think LA/SF/NYC/Chicago hip streetwear store transplanted in St. Louis. Not gonna lie, this place basically sells everything I've ever been looking for whenever I go thrifting/vintage shopping. The clothing is carefully curated with new stock coming in daily, and with a really good representation of trending streetwear brands (Nike, Adidas, Champion, Reebok, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Kappa, Supreme). There's also a large selection of band tees and other graphic tees. There's a small selection of denim, shorts for women and a mix of jeans for men and women, and a mish mash of shoes as well. And there's a large selection of men's outerwear ranging from windbreakers to denim jackets and bombers. One gripe I have is that I wish there was a larger selection for girls. I personally shop in the men's section all the time and dig the oversized look, but when ya girl is trying to find a fresh pair of sneaks or jeans, oversized isn't gonna do it. I know the owners are working on building up their stock, so I'm sure in the future there will be a lot more options. Also, this place isn't cheap (nor is it insanely expensive either). Think $15-35 for tees, $50 for sweaters, $20 for jeans, etc. Prices are fair, but don't be expecting Goodwill prices ;) Overall I'm ridiculously excited that a shop like this finally exists in St. Louis.

I was in the market for a new leather sectional, and I was thrilled to find the perfect one at this upscale resale boutique. The Variable Tuition Program provides financial assistance to students and families. Because volunteers staff the store, overhead is kept low so that more money can be attributed to programs. I highly recommend checking out Miriam Switching Post for your next furniture purchase. Not only will you find great deals, but you'll also be supporting a great cause.

Not only do they have more room to accommodate more items, but it's so neat, organized, and clean. I got an email saying everything in the store was 50% off every 2nd Saturday of the month, so I figured this would be a great time to revisit. Thankfully, I came early enough to beat the crowd. They have a ton of items in great condition and even a separate section for luxury items. I tried on a few things but ended up with a nice pair of work pants and a jumpsuit for $12.00! I know these would retail for far more, so you definitely can't beat that deal. Aside from the awesome deals, they're a nonprofit resale boutique that benefits children and youth impacted by foster care. Now that's definitely a cause I can get behind. I can't wait to come back for more.

The space is really big and packed with records, DVDs, CDs, you name it. Everything is labeled pretty well but it can definitely feel overwhelming just because of how much there is. The good news is the staff is super friendly and easy to approach, so don't hesitate to ask them for help or something specific. I was also surprised by how much international stuff they carry. They even had a recent Kpop album from a group I like and I did not expect them to have it in stock. Overall just a really fun place to come to with friends, flip through some records, and maybe find something you weren't expecting. Would go back!

Cute little boutique in Clayton!…read more Unfortunately the prices are very much Clayton-esque, though but the brands they carry are all high-end designer so maybe their prices are actually cheap considering what you're buying. I just can't exactly afford to shell out $200 for a blazer I only "sorta" like but maybe if I found something I just couldn't live without, I'd save up for it. In fairness I have bought really expensive stuff in the past but it's usually something crazy unique that I will wear over and over again like my UNIF hellbounds. I do like that they offered to sell a blazer for me that I have that I never wear and it's basically NWTs... so if you have something new or gently used like designer shoes, purses, or clothing, they might sell it for you and you get a percentage of it. Also...this goes without saying but...OMG pot belly pig is SO CUTE. Her name is Chloe and she's the official store mascot. A trip to this store is worth it just to see the cute piggy. They also stock Hem Gems here which are amazing devices for pants and sleeves that you wish were shorter but don't want to sew them. Plus they are reusable so pretty economical. I wish they had some cheaper brands like bbDakota or Ryu. And FYI those brands are not really "cheap" either if you are used to shopping at Target or something, but still definitely unique without dropping three figures on one dress or jacket. ;) I just think that more girls who don't have sugar daddies (LOL!) would be willing to shop here if there was stuff in the $50 price ballpark but then again they might have a sale rack that I just totally missed.
