The day had been extraordinarily hot (106) and the A/C was completely inadequate. The windows don't open (and I'm not sure I'd feel safe if they did), so the room didn't cool down until the early morning. The bedding and the furniture are old and worn beyond the point of "retro" or "charming" and the decor reflects quirky taste. The push-button lock on the door seemed inadequate and made for a wakeful night. The mattress was the one redeeming feature. It seemed reasonably new.

Fifteen minutes later when they let me back in and changed the batteries in the door. So the I wanted to turn on the TV no remote. "It should be there said the desk". I found it under the bed. I look the coffee maker no coffee. A cal and a walk to the office. Then I I could use a bath. The sink had hot water. But the bath tub shower just cold. It's difficult to get everything wrong.

And this was my fourth visit. I use this hotel because they have a jacuzzi room. Yes you read that right a room with a large jacuzzi that sits two over sized people easily! Bring your Epsom salts maybe a bath bomb if it isn't a sudsy type as they'll bubble up too much with any type of bubble bath. Sit as long as your can handle without shriveling up and I can guarantee you'll feel like a whole new person the next day! The shower isn't anything to boast about. As anyone who reads my reviews knows I hate standard fixed shower heads in hotels it makes them feel old and like the Bates Motel to me. So they lost a star for that but the water can be tempered to those of us that love super hot showers. There is a hairdryer connected to wall. I didn't notice if it's locked down or if you can use it say at the desk to sit comfortably while drying, but it's there nevertheless. This room includes a king sized bed that's comfortable. Not the most comfortable ever, but it does allow you to get in a good slumber. They have a few movie channels on the tube and you can plug in your own hdmi device. The hotel offer breakfast from 6-9AM daily. I wish hotels would adopt a 6-11AM attitude. Some people are actually on vacation and would like to get dressed then come down and eat as they leave for their adventure's of the day. It can interrupt the flow having to go down grab food as you have to get dressed to leave your room. But that's just my lil opinion. But I'd say if your in Cal City and looking for an overnight. This is the place!!!

When I entered the room I could smell the bleach which assured me the room was cleaned. My room overlooked the parking lot so I could keep an eye out on my truck. The room was small but ok. There was a fridge and some complimentary coffee tea items. There was a small desk, a wardrobe to hang clothes, but no microwave which is ok. The hallway was quiet, no crazies in the lobby or hallways. The clientele is pretty much corrections, military and contractors. Staff were professional, engaging and helpful. If in CAL City, I do recommend this Best Western.

The garage is well lit and easily usable. The bathrooms are all clean. The bedrooms are all fresh linens and floor is vacuumed. Did the finger dust test on corners etc. I'd say 8 out of 10 no problem. Would I stay here again? yes. Like I said no issues with this place at all. They always treat me right every time I've been here. And I've been here at least 10+ times. Thanks guys!

Basic accommodations for shampoo, lotion, and bar soap included but again it's a low priced hotel so it's not going to have brand name fancy soaps. This isn't hilton prices. I would 100% come back here again. Oh and no elevator so if you are handicapped, you can't get the upstairs rooms.

The upside is the rates are pretty good! I got my room for about $130 booked the day of. The next closest Hilton was $166. I am traveling on business so I was unconcerned with particulars. I gather most people stationed here aren't trying to spend more than a night here. It is basically in the outlet stores. If you love you some outlet shopping then you need to stay here. You are right in it! Again I wasn't there for all that. In fact I was in the the beginning of what would an epic head cold ... I'd take them out and listen and try to find where it was coming from to no avail. Over and over, to the point I slept without AirPods on and near the window. Then I HEARD the crying and jumped out of the bed! Only to find that a tomcat (cat was orange and white which is a male 90% of the time, you can look it up) out doing a mating call and just tomcatting around! Outside my window, wanting to break up my family! The audacity! No kitty, you go holler at someone else! Still unlike others I didn't see any roaches or anything dirty. I think they are getting right. IMPORTANT: they have these sharp guards for the mattress that aren't flush with anything and trust and believe SOMETHING will happen to hurt someone's leg. A good slice or chunk WiLL be taken by each bed with this set up. Go on and check yourself.. use a white towel/rag with a bit of water and swipe in the each of these basically Game of Thrones style spikes and I bet someone will come up with blood.
