Finally got someone to answer phone in the service department. I understand things get busy which…read moreis why I tried at different times. Had a simple question "Do you have any specials going on for oil changes". Response was " I don't know, you'll have to look online". Really? Isn't it their job to know? Maybe being the only place in town for Toyotas makes them indifferent in providing customer support. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I've encountered this type of "non-service" but thought it might have been an isolated incident so thought I'd give them another chance. I'll be taking my business to an out of town Toyota dealership.

He made an appointment to look…read moreat a specific truck and even called **twice** beforehand to confirm it was still available since we were driving an hour to get there. When we arrived, they told us the truck had already been sold. No one called to let us know, which was frustrating considering the distance we drove. They then asked what we were looking for, and we found another truck that caught our interest -- but that one wasn't even on the lot either. We ended up looking at a similar one they did have and actually liked it enough to negotiate. Things became even more frustrating when we asked about working with USAA. We were told they don't work with them and only use their own banks. That didn't make sense, especially since my brother-in-law (who has experience as a sales and finance manager at multiple dealerships) was on the phone helping us. My husband even called USAA while we were there, and they were confused by the dealership's response, saying they can work with any dealership. When we went back inside, the salesperson changed their story and said they don't "directly" work with them, but we could still use a USAA auto loan. From the start, they said they were "only willing to move $400" on the price and kept saying they'd "meet in the middle," yet never actually adjusted the numbers. They also tried to pressure us by saying if we didn't buy it that day, the price would go up. After being there from 10:45 a.m. to 1:20 p.m., we were completely over it. The experience felt dishonest and like a waste of our time. We left without a truck and will not be going back. Save yourself the trip -- call ahead and make sure they "actually" have the vehicle you're coming to see.

A few weeks ago I took my 2025 Chevy Equinox in to Sisbarro GMC for service. There was a recall on…read moremy car that the service department tried to execute, but it failed. Service Manager Chuck Armstrong was very apologetic and took me to Hertz to pick up a rental car which Sisbarro, GMC agreed to pay for. As we went back and forth, it became apparent that there was going to be a month's long delay in getting my car up and running again. I was disappointed but I didn't get angry because everyone I dealt with was honest, open and transparent. It would have been easy for the employees at Sisbarro to become argumentative or defensive over the situation. That has in fact been the kind of behavior I experienced in similar circumstances at other dealerships. It's clear that Sisbarro is different. The dealership made a mistake but it was just the start of the story. Once I contacted Michael Yoke, Customer Service Manager - Sisbarro immediately stepped up and started trying to rectify the problem. That was helpful but it was made more notable because everyone involved tried to help and remained kind and understanding. Everyone I met at Sisbarro had a smile on their face. Eventually, we discussed me trading in my Equinox against a GMC Acadia. I wasn't really looking to get another car. My wife and I paid cash for the Chevy and it was only 18 months old. But it seemed like the best way to resolve the situation quickly and easily, so Michael went to work on trying to help me work out a trade. I made it clear that I would only move forward if this was a spectacular deal for me. I was getting a new car - an additional 18 months of warranty - and an upgrade in vehicle - but I was giving up a car that was paid for and taking on extra cost for the new car. I had planned to keep the Chevy for a while. My biggest concern was that I didn't want to go sit in the dealership for hours haggling and arguing. I felt that Sisbarro had the burden of working this out to my benefit and to my great surprise - that's exactly what they did. Everyone was professional, helpful and friendly throughout the process. I was impressed by the fact that this place didn't feel like a traditional car dealership where everyone is out to hustle. It is a family owned business and one of the few family owned dealerships in this part of the country. While many companies will market themselves as a family owned business, that usually doesn't mean much. In the case of Sisbarro, it does. Michael Yoke was in touch with me multiple times each day as we started working towards a solution. He assured me that he would smooth over the process - and that he and he alone would make the deal with me - no back and forth with sales managers, etc. I have experience in the car business and I did a great deal of research to determine the value of my Chevy. I told Mike what I wanted for my car and that's exactly - without any haggling - what I got. I told him what I wanted to pay for the new Acadia. I asked for a significant discount off of the selling price and got exactly what I wanted. Once again, no argument. Just a team of people working very hard to make sure I was happy. Master salesman, Danny Chavez was appointed by Michael to handle the house deal. He did a spectacular job of demonstrating the GMC Acadia to me. We took a test drive. He carefully, and completely explained everything that I asked about. Once the numbers were agreed upon, Chuck Armstrong took me over to service to collect the stuff out of my old car. He even helped. Then I sat down with a wonderful young man named Luis Tovar, who works in F&I. He handled all the final paperwork and didn't try to hard sell me a bunch of products I do not need. I asked him for Wheel & Tire coverage and he even gave me that at a discount. The paperwork was simple and fast. Our conversation was enjoyable. Michael Yoke oversaw all parts of this transaction and without him, I am not sure this would have ended as well for either party. He oversaw the negotiations and even arranged for me to get my plates and registration in less than 48 hours after I took delivery. I have never been to a dealership that has a Customer Service Manager with any real power. Michael has worked at Sisbarro for many years and it's absolutely clear he has the trust of ownership. As we ended the day, Danny Chavez filled my new car full of gas (courtesy the dealership's credit card) and got my new car washed. He did a top-flight delivery, showing me how to activate OnStar and learn all the ins and outs of the vehicle. Danny also graciously took my Hertz rental back to the rental office so I could get on my way home. 100% satisfied - HIGHLY recommended.

Have regretted giving this dealership our business not once, but twice (due to unfortunate…read morecircumstances). I don't recommend coming here - they are easy to sell you a car, but won't be easy to work with if you need any ounce of customer care afterwards.

Off we go to the rest of the US of A with temp tag on the truck from New Mexico Fast forward, we get home (about 2 months later) and try to register the truck. Nope, because I didn't register in NC within 30 days, they assumed my insurance lapsed. (curious why at this point they were not notified). So call to the dealer, NC and NM DMVs and the lien holder. Seems the dealer didn't sent it over as they used a 3rd party and it finally made it through the system about 1 (2 months late) week ago. Dealer then says, "we did all we can do at this point" My assumption is it is all fixed now. Insurance thing fixed! Time for the tag, No Bueno! Title info has not gone to NC. Call to both the lien holder and the dealer. What do you know! The dealer made an error and is overnighting the fix. (didn't tell me what) and MAYBE just MAYBE! I can get my tag next week .... stay tuned.. (I am sure there is more to this story.) At this point, It's become a nightmare. (I am on temp tag 3) UPDATE 8/14 - Seems the lender had an issue with the title so now the dealer has to do something. Waiting to hear back about this CRAP now! Ok blood is starting to boil. Over 3 months.!!!!!!! I need resolution! UPDATE 8/18 - Sent this email to BRAVO and no response (didn't expect one - IDIOTS): Saul Tena, (hes a manager lol) Can we please resolve this finally? Next week will be my 4th TEMP tag! I have never EVER had a situation like this that has gone on for MONTHS! I just want my tag. Something dealers do every day. Also some sort of compensation for dealing with this for over 3 months! from the lender today: At this time, Mark, the original title has not yet been issued by the DMV. It can take up to 6 - 8 weeks -(REALLY!!!!!!) for the title to be issued. On the other hand, a note on the account shows that we sent a letter to your originating dealership to inquire if the title paperwork has been forwarded to the local DMV to complete the process of title perfection. In the meantime, kindly allow some time for the process to be completed. Almost 4 months and still no title at the lender. They never sent it until I started asking about it. Don't use them! Good luck if you do.
