She said she will get information and will return my call. it's been almost a week, I got no response. Deeply disappointed.

I am a student at the Makami College in Edmonton and my experience here has not been good. They only offer clinics during the week 4:30-9:00 pm. I feel like if Makami truly cared for their working students they would have a Saturday evening clinic after class available as well as a full day clinic available on Sundays. Other problems I have run into is the extreme disorganization and absolutely none of the staff seem to be on the same page on school protocols. For example I had an unexpected pregnancy. I let the school know as soon as I knew and I had been massaging in class for a month when I went to do a clinic all of a sudden Im told I cannot massage in my first trimester. Considering this is the most expensive massage college out there , my expectations are that staff should all be on the same page of protocols and organized at the very least. Also for how much extra they charge in tuition I have not seen a single reason paying double what other colleges charge is worth it. If your considering getting your massage diploma please don't make the same mistake I did . Save your money and time and pick a better college.

I've taken a few courses through Metro (now located in Avonmore School) and to be clear, the 5 star…read morerating is for the IN-CLASS courses. They are amazing! BUT, the one course I took by CORRESPONDENCE was an extremely confusing and annoying experience!! There is a huge disconnect between the teachers who mark the modules and the metro staff who give you the modules. Nobody knew what was going on the entire time I was trying to complete Chem 20 by correspondence and there were several mix-ups with the marking and exams... would NOT recommend doing correspondence through this place... HOWEVER, I am having an excellent experience with the night classes! The Chem 30 teacher, Mr. Callegari is fantastic, and so is Ms. Brownie in the Math 20-1 fast track program. The teachers put in a lot of effort to teach all the students everything they can. I really enjoy the class structure, and actually LOOK FORWARD TO GOING TO SCHOOL! This was not how I felt about chemistry and math in high school... There is also lots of extra "study skills" type workshops available for free to Metro students; a nice, big student lounge with free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every night; free tutors available most evenings before classes start; and excellent student counselors. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to take night classes to go through Metro. The night classes are twice a week for four months for a regular course, and three times a week for two months for a fast track course. I'm able to work full time during the day and complete three entire high school courses in four months (one regular course Mon & Wed and two fast track courses Tues, Thurs & Sat).

ACSA offers safety training specific to the construction industry, and is funded by WCB premiums…read more For the most part, the training and most of the instructors are OK, which is not bad considering the dry material they cover. Their website needs some big improvement because it looks like it was created in Microsoft Word and is annoying to use and book courses through. And I believe their online audit tool was programmed sometime in the early Cretaceous period. But if you want to take a course on Safety Legislation in Alberta, this is the place for you... try not to fall asleep in class.

After finishing my audit in December, I had a couple questions to correct. Now on the 20th of March I suddenly have 27 questions to review. On one of them I was missing the work "all" or they say that "100%" would have also been acceptable. This is getting out of hand. I called and asked to talk to the person's supervisor and was told that there was no one above her position. Well I guess that the non profit organization that is for the industry got too big to listen to the industry. Well done guys. It is time for change. We will be exploring our options as ACSA is not the only outfit providing COR certification. Thank you
