After researching him further than we had originally, we found he plays the game of give him your money, doesn't finish job and then vanishes in to thin air. He's been brought to court for this changes the company name and starts again. He even moved around the country, to Illinois and guess who strikes again with complaints and a company name that is now closed-wash-rinse-repeat. We're all for the little guy and we wanted to give our community small biz owner the business. I don't want to ruin anyone's life but he does not care what he does to people. Posting to warn everyone who reads this-STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN AND ANYTHING HE DOES FOR WORK. He is a liar, a robber and if you ever read this Brenden... you should be ashamed of yourself. We started a project with Brendan Kurtz who is the owner of the local company Celina Concrete (now known as Chicago Decorative Flatwork) in Sept 2021. We agreed upon concrete patio extension with overlay as well as side yard work. It is now February 2022 and we are still left with a mess and out thousands of dollars. Brendan and his crew failed to get the overlay and new concrete to match multiple times over the course of 3 months. We were patient and understanding as he continued to move on to other projects and would stop by when he had a lull in schedule - all while asking for final payment multiple times. (Mind you, by this point we had already made 3 payments to him). By December, he even sang a sad song about how he would have to close his business after he completed our project and another. Brendan hired an outside company to come sandblast our patio in order to start fresh again with the staining and sealing. This is the last we have heard or seen of him. We are now left with an unfinished patio with ruined overlay, ruined sod that he claimed he would replace, and stuck trying to find another company that can fix his mess. Instead of "closing his business", Brendan has now changed his company's name to Chicago Decorative Flatwork and continues to post new projects. He has also failed to respond to our report with the Better Business Bureau. We have given him plenty of time to do right by us, but alas - he is choosing to look the other way. I hope this post helps someone steer clear of a company who has caused us so many issues.

Ils essaient de vous faire faire vos réparations vous-même pour sauver les coûts. Pratiquement impossible de parler avec la personne qui s'occupe de ton projet. Ils ont des parts dans Mg2 et la compagnie d'excavation, alors ils en profitent au max. Quand ils vous parlent, ils vous parlent de haut comme si vous ne connaissiez rien. La construction, ça a été bof. le service après construction -1000000 / 10 Mg2 c'est la même affaire, je voulais déplacer mon panneau électrique avant la construction. Ils m'ont dit qu'ils ne pouvaient pas finalement, quand c'était trop tard, ils l'ont fait pour un extra. Pas suivi les plans électriques, Lumière extérieure manquante, Switch mal positionné, Gradateurs manquants, Thermostat manquant, Electricité pas selon le code électrique à certains endroits (je suis électricien) La compagnie d'excavation, je ne sais pas. Mais a chaque jour je passais voir l'avancement et l'opérateur de pelle était sur son cellulaire pendant que je payais son temps double et que son helper était assis. bref, je suis en tabarnak et toutes les fois qu'arrive une nouvelle surprise ça me rappelle que c'est un cauchemar comme première maison
