They provided me with a reasonable price, so I went for it! C&T built me a tall, gorgeous, double paneling cedar fence for maximum privacy. My previous fence was built by a former home owner, had single paneling with wide gaps to easily see in each neighbor's yard, had multiple colors of stain on it, and was falling down on one side. It was awful, so C&T made my new fence like a Cinderella story. C&T started and finished the job in two days in freezing cold weather; I could not believe they worked all day both days during the winter blast we received in DFW recently. They hauled away the old fence and cleaned up all trash/other building remnants. If you've had multiple contractors at your house before, you know not everyone cleans up well. But, C&T did. This was important to me so that our small dogs didn't eat anything dangerous. One thing I learned during the scoping process is that most fence companies use Chinese/Japanese cedar because it's much cheaper and more available than Western Red Cedar. The Chinese/Japanese cedar will last 15-20 years, and the Western Red Cedar will last 25-30 years. I chose the more affordable option since most people do not stay in their homes 25-30 years anymore. But, do your research and select what's best for you!
