I came here to get my Monstera plant repotted because it got too large for its current pot. They can repot your plant for you, if you bring your own you pay a small fee but it's "free" if you buy a pot from there. Some of the pots (like my own) are pricey however I trusted them more than myself to replant my growing baby. I've taken their DIY Terrarium classes and it's fun. It's a very "this is what it is and where things are have fun" type of vibe. Everything is broken down cost wise on how much each container is and what you can put in them. They have an event calendar to show their classes or themed nights they do every month. The make the terrariums, candles, bonsai layouts, kokedama (moss balls), moss walls, and floral hoops. They're fun, they're interactive, and great for medium-"large" sized groups. It's always nice to have somewhere to go and do something different that you can take home. The staff is always helpful when I need it giving good recommendations, education, and answering my 1042 questions. Will continue going here as long as they're open and I'll continue referring people there to!

You pick your desired vase and get to filling it with stones, dirt, plants and other accent pieces. Of course, you receive great guidance from the amazing staff. They let you know what plants can be selected and how many should be used. Additionally, they have a large variety of plants that you can purchase for very reasonable prices. They also have candle making classes with a variety of candle scents to choose from. I would recommend PlantHouse for all of your plant needs from start to finish. Stepping into Dearness Gardens is like stepping into a fairytale land. I had often driven past here…read moreto and from work while living in Cornelius and wanted to check it out. When I finally did I was pretty blown away. The first two-thirds of the layout here are best enjoyed with a slow walk in the evening or morning. Have a look over all the decorative plants perfect for any backyard setting you may be planning. Want a pond? They've got one for inspiration. Want stone lanterns, busts and statuettes? They've got 'em. There's also an indoor shop with more decor related items like wind-chimes, wall-hangings and what-nots. My favorite spot would have to be right around the little hut. It sits about halfway back into the gardens right beside the pond. I believe it's more-or-less home to a separate sort of consignment shop. It wasn't open when I visited but it was a pleasant spot simply to be in. Are you wandering around Davidson-Cornelius-Huntersville and looking for the next spot to enjoy a slow finish to the day with your date? I'd suggest dropping in here.

The staff wasn't the most helpful or friendly but that didn't bother me. I was there for the plants.

But this year, mainly due to the hot, hot summer's I asked Coard to teach me how to care for my new roses, so I have been getting a great lesson every month he comes over to service the rose beds. I plan on adding more and more roses, because they are much prettier than just grass and probably less work. Coard will still be responsible for the current roses, in case anything goes wrong with my new roses he is just a phone call away.

While prices here are not rock bottom, that is not their goal. They do not seek to be the lowest price ... like big box stores ... but rather they want to be the full service option. For example, you need screens re-screened ... they'll do it. Liked this store a lot. Greeted when we came in, and loads of service people there to help you. So you can't offer a one year guarantee and be cheaper. I don't think you do that in your business. And second, the plants are healthy and alive when you buy them. They typically die because you the installer do not water them enough, or overwater them, or do not amend the soil when you put them in the ground, and or not everything lives when it's removed from a bucket and put in the ground, the plant sometimes goes into shock And dies, I mean, this isn't sheet rock or plywood. It's a living organism and it can die for reasons beyond our responsibility.

I suspected they wouldn't grow correctly, and I was later proven correct. A customer service chat had me convinced that it might or might not have started with a live human but definitely ended with an AI agent. Nothing was resolved. An approximately $600 order and a growing season of effort wasted. Btw, during the chat, the agent admitted that it is their standard practice to lop off the apexes of their saplings to fit in shipping boxes. Is that what you want? My advice is to stay away from Bighter Blooms Nursery.

On the ad it only showed big shrubs already grown not in the pot stated they were 1 gal which if they had been 1 gal the price would have been fair. Customer service was horrible just kept telling me to plant them and they would grow! My flower bed has mature shrubs and plant can you imagine planting something tjat small how stupid it would look. This was my first solo antique shopping experience in charlotte 2 years ago and I have been back 2x since! Always such cool finds! See pics for some of the fun things I've bought/almost bought.
