I had passed King's a week or so driving to the Asian Market in Stallings and didn't pay much attention. Just a new greenhouse to check out later. Who knew I would be back in a week. The greenhouse has several different parts/areas. Pottery, houseplants, succulents, cacti, and seasonal area. The pansies had just arrived so they were right up front. There was a discount for purchasing 18 or more. I got 36 or 3 flats. Plus some philodendron from the house plant area. So happy with all my purchases. I wasn't able to do much exploring but I will be back. Customer service was great. We were helped to find everything we needed. I was also notified that if you have a wish list you can let them know and they will try to get them in!!! I was also told they have an FB page to look for updates and alerts on there. They also are practicing safe Covid 19 behavior. They had mask for customers and hand sanitizer. Employees also wore mask! I went there looking for a tree and there was nobody at the check out. Some other people came to the check out and were behind me also waiting we all waited then after about 10 minutes someone showed up. The employee checked out the people behind me I guess because they had items to buy and all I had was a question. Did I mention I am an amputee not that it matters they were just plain rude. Needless to say this was my the last time I 'll go to this establishment.

They are very educated on the items they stock and sell. Prices are fair and much better versus other nurseries in the area. As I say, he's the man! But wait! I can't forget the women! Both Tracey and Donna are standout resources and are just a blast to talk to and to bounce ideas off of. They're great at coming up with new ideas which may never have occurred to you as well as providing help with problem areas in the garden. Owner Susie has done a wonderful job these past 29 years creating a gardening wonderland that is irresistible. Honestly, I can think of no reason for Rountree not to be your first destination for any gardening need you may have.

One is popping out tomatoes and buds like there is no tomorrow and the other one, though green and growing, will not bud at all. Not giving up on it yet though. Really frustrated. If I want to lose money, I will take a chance with losing less $ at a box store. Thought the higher cost would bring better quality plant but that was not my experience. Highly disappointed and will not be back.
