We had a great time !! The kids really enjoy it . Free Parking Free Entrance. The only thing you need to pay is food and pumpkins, if you want to . Different activities for the kids to enjoy . Totally come back next year !!

Visiting Borchard farms is by far one of my favorite traditions in fall. My entire family comes every year multiple times a year to enjoy the beauty of the farm and pick our pumpkins! The Borchard family is a joy to see every year and never fails with their customer service. My family and I visited today and one of the Borchard family members went as far as helping a husband with FaceTiming his wife so he could pick up the right pumpkins! It was above and beyond. We didn't get to the corn maze this time but we'll be back in the coming weeks! It always amazes me the family has kept entry and the corn maze free for their guests.

I love this pumpkin patch this is definitely the go to place for my family and I they also have yummy snacks you can purchase

We love that it is free to park, enter, do the corn maze & enjoy our time at the pumpkin patch.

Wonderful family & wallet friendly pumpkin patch! Beautiful variety of pumpkins. Highly recommend!!

There will always be a lack of activities to sift through when you live away from the big cities BUT thankfully, here in the peninsula, there are still some rather awesome things to do around this time of the year. Pumpkin patches that are family friendly start showing up this time of the year. Corn mazes which have become even more popular with children are more readily available (regardless of simplicity or lost for hours if without a machete). But the best part? This is always a learning experience for the young ones (and sometimes, for parents without full exposure). Here at Borchard Farms, which has continuously evolved over the years, pumpkins of all sorts and sizes are available. There are bird cages (renovated again) and a simple corn maze that if you loose your bearings often end back up at the entrance rather than the exit. There is the signature stack of pumpkins in the middle and on the wall for pictures with the family. There is just that learning experience for the young ones who didn't know just how many varieties there are and more. Anyways, if you're from the area, come visit. Prices are truly affordable and the people here are super friendly. Not to mention, this may be one of few times you'll get to see pumpkins far BIGGER than you'd ever imagine possible.

Covid/2020 Procedure Update: 1. CDC guidelines posted 2. Separate enterance and exit 3. 6ft apart signage everywhere 4. Masks required 5. Temperature checks at the entrance 6. Hand sanitizer stations throughout Everything was spread out this year in the field you would normally see vendors and bouncy houses. I appreciated this because not only was it cuter, but it gave you opportunity to dig through them a little better (while social distancing of course) The face painting, bounce houses, food, craft and Independent consulting vendors are all gone this year. They did have a single food truck stationed in front of the barn with the rusty tool decor. Prices were cheaper this year as well. Last year they were getting up there, but we did a pretty large haul and only spent $52. The giant burpee's were on sale 1 for $15, 2 for $2, or 5 for $40. Overall I appreciated the thorough Covid procedures and how they put everything together and changed it up this year. Thank you guys for always being a highlight of the fall season!

    Lots of fun for families.

I really enjoyed this pumpkin farm and great for families. Free to enter, feed for pumpkins and gourds of your choice. Lots of great picture opportunities and fun for the whole family. A few food trucks there, restrooms, sanitation, and temp checking upon entrance. Great for young kids and special pictures for the family. Really fun time here!!

Today was our first time here. We came from Fremont to meet our daughter and 8 year old grandson. We all had so much fun looking at the wide variety of colorful pumpkins and squashes, bigger-than-life moving, talking decorations, 5 acre corn Maze, and a display of gorgeous pheasants, peacocks, and other birds. A special thank you to Mark, one of the owners, for giving our grandson a pumpkin because he wasn't allowed in an "Employees Only" area. Later, Mark retrieved our grandson's ball that went over the fence. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and hospitality. We will be back!

This is a quaint farm with a charming area full of photo opportunities, let the kids look at the different animals, pick out pumpkins, and a complimentary corn maze. I was able to meet the owner who was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Ended up purchasing 2 baby pumpkins for $1 or 2 each for the reception desk and I loved them so much that I added Santa hat wine toppers to keep them around for the rest of the year. If you're in the area this is a great modest patch to visit.

We love this farm! We go every year to get our pumpkins. We find it's the perfect place because it's super fun but not too busy or scary.

Wonderful place to get pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. They donate to local school fall festivals. Always generous and kind.

I've stopped by before to buy fruit, which was okay (ie, small), but this time, I walked inside the building. Holy toledo, Batman, the products were coated under thick layers of dust and had mouse traps tucked in-between and underneath! There were boxes and cleaning supplies strewn about, and animals lying around the food. I was afraid I'd spot a tail hanging out of a hole or see something run by my feet based on how many traps were in the store. There may not be any sure proof way to keep pests out of indoor-outdoor markets, but they can at least keep the place cleaner and more organized, like not leave cleaning supplies right next to the food. I was also surprised that the prices were steep for what looked like products that haven't been moved in a long time. Barn Fresh Produce is not worth the stop for me, but if you are dying for fruit, I'd stick to the ones kept outside and make sure to wash it well before consuming.

Lots of sizes of both - tiny avocados were seven for 1$ and there were loads of midsize and large avocados too. A few different varieties. Same for the articles. I picked up some fresh corn and Gilroy garlic too.

He was patient and knew the menu, and offered options when he saw our reactions as we tried to decide. The chef even walked out and offered to make the bolognese from scratch and omit the mushrooms. From start to finish the whole Mangia team was great, and it made me happy to see how they treated one another. The dishwasher came up a few times to swap the trays and everyone got along, and I noticed the chef made them each something to eat as the restaurant was closing. As for the food, good Salinas option. The Nonna appetizer was a bruschetta with pistacho, fresh ricotta, and honey. Delicious. Beet salad was good, hearty beets, mixed greens, and balsamic. It was over dressed for my taste, but hubby loved it. I wasn't a huge fan the cheese they used, it was a harder salty cheese in small cubes. I got the penne with a really subtle lemon cream sauce, grilled chicken, and broccoli. Came out hot and it was a generous portion, waiter offered some fresh cheese so took that of course. I'd order it again, but don't think it was the best pasta dish I have ever had. Chicken Parmesan was cooked fresh, and came with the penne and marina. In my opinion the marina was under seasoned, but I'm generally heavy on the garlic and basil. I don't know I'd label it as a culinary hot spot, but the food was good, and made by good people. I appreciate the atmosphere and we will definitely be back.
