Have taken my teenage daughters here for quite a few years now. Never had any problems and have always been very happy with the service until November 2012.
Was kept waiting for half an hour past the appointment with no apology or explanation. When I asked, I was told the optician was late due to bad traffic.
The receptionist sat picking at her nails and looking at us like we were the scum of the earth.
Since they didn't have any frames my daughter wanted, I asked if I could have her perscription and voucher. We were given the perscription but not the nhs voucher. When I asked again for the voucher, I was told I did not need it.
Found some frames in Vision Express and they were great, couldn't be more helpful. I was told I would need my daughters nhs voucher and perscription .
Had to return again to Boots and again ask for my daughters nhs voucher, and after talking amongst themselves , one receptionist said oh, just give her it.
Will never ever be going back their again! read more
