Whilst outside the 30 day right to refund and return stipulated under the 2015 Consumer Act this is well within the six month period in which it is the retailers responsibility, not the manufacturers, to either fix or replace the item. Gotchs failed to recognize this and told us we had to go to the manufacturer. This is very unhelpful and I'll-informed customer service. This really does need rectifying as Gotchs will lose customers.

The Interior is larger than you would think with a range of house hold appliances as well as ranges in TV's and music. Typically, anything you'd expect to be able to find in stores like this is there - big screen TVs, home cinema systems and DVDs, stereos, MP3 players and so on. Also on sale are washing machines, vacuum cleaners and the like. Not as extensive a range as to be found in the chains, but pretty much anything on the market can be ordered for you if you wish. For the average consumer, you'd probably find better value at a Comet, but if you're looking for something a little different and not so mainstream, these people can help you much more.

Even more to their credit, the salesmen will tell you if the products they have are not going to be suitable for your needs. Something you don't see all that much these days. The store is not located in the centre of Nottingham and is not situated well for any of the multi storey car parks. However this is not a problem as there are parking slots outside the store and the staff will pay for the parking meter.

Being slightly out of the city centre this electronics shop is vast compared to my other experiences of Maplin's. You can get loads of little bits from transistors, to hard drives and a cacophony of wires to larger goods such as disco lights. Everything is here to enable you to vamp up any gadget you may have lurking in the house. Despite the size the layout is well devised, staff are able to find things quickly and can offer what seems to be knowledgeable advice on what you need, although I am no expert.
