The store has recently been refurbished and is bright and well laid out. It's not quite as big but stocks everything you would expect at a chemists. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable; I actually felt better just for talking to a friendly person - a little bit of sympathy is all you need when you have a rotten cold. No queues, either - a definite winner.

The store looks good and is fairly clean, it has a nice selection of many of the items you would expect to find in the Boots, including beauty, cosmetics, toiletries, and a selection of over the counter and prescribed medications. It also has an Opticians which is pretty handy. It would be nice if they had more staffed counters, they really seem to be pushing self-service too, not great for the elderly! 4*

As a result, it has pretty much everything that Boots has to offer, from toiletries to photo-printing, although it can sometimes be a bit messy. It is a good place to come for make-up, as it has brands from Maybelline to No. 7 and high-end brands like YSL, which have their own separate counters for even better service. It means you rack up a decent amount of money to spend at Boots fairly quickly. They always have a few 3 for 2 deals on too, which will often be on things you actually need to buy. Another excellent service that Boots provides is free chlamydia tests for anyone under 26. You simply ask for a test at the pharmacy counter, and bring it back to any branch and they send you the results.

In pretty much regards it is a typical Boots store in terms of decor and product ranges, just a lot smaller. It does seem to be slightly busier than one would expect for a store of its' size, which is pretty common for London but still, the not very friendly staff and small store made the whole situation seem a little bit more unpleasant. Overall, this store isn't bad if you're just planning to put in a prescription and have a few minutes to spare as it is in a good location, but other than that there isn't too much to shout about, especially considering there's a larger store just under half a mile away around the corner on Queensway. 2*

Unfortunately the shop is a little scruffy and in need of refurbishment. It's a huge contrast to the glamourous new Superdrug in the nearby Westfield centre! I mainly called in Superdrug today to pick up a few drinks, however, the drink selection was poor, very poor, tucked into the back of the store, it didn't even include any Starbucks bottled beverages or even a great selection of Lipton Iced Teas. They were also in an awkward position towards the end of the store in the corner. The staff didn't seem as helpful or friendly as one would expect, they seemed more about serving customers without a personal touch or even showing good customer service, it was like they saw customers as a number and overall appeared rushed, even when the store wasn't too busy. Poor service and selection sadly warrants a single one-star for what is sadly a poor branch of Superdrug.

Staff here are friendly too, and lots of good offers on. Their points system is also very rewarding, and you can quickly stack points up for a lunchtime treat.
