We were seated near the History Center entrance adjacent to the restroom entryway. Very large windows provide plenty of lighting and views of the water and surrounding area. Our server promptly arrived and took our beverage order as well as provided the specials for the day. A few minutes later she returned with our drinks and took our orders. We ordered the turkey club with coleslaw and the special, cheesesteak with smashed tots. Our meals arrived after a short wait. They looked really good. The portions were a good size and were well prepared. We both agreed everything was delicious! The coleslaw had great texture and the right amount of seasoning. The turkey club delivered everything you would expect. The smashed tots were an interesting version of tots, but were good. For me the highlight was the cheesesteak. I had mushrooms and jalapenos added to the already loaded sandwich and it was amazing. The overall experience was great. We will definitely return here again and highly recommend giving Lawson's On The Creek a try.

So good and it was lightly dressed with the pickling liquid. I went with the jerk salmon for the entree. The salmon was cooked perfect and had a nice crust on it. It was served with a citrus (mango forward) salsa on top of jasmine coconut rice. It is all a great idea and the combo was good. Only feedback was the red bell peppers seemed out of place and took away from the dish and the jasmine rice was a little too bland. I could taste the hint of coconut which was good but some seasoning or a touch of salt on the rice would have paired great with the salmon and orange glaze. But the real gem is the case at the front of the store next to the register that holds the HUGE homemade truffles. I did not get a picture of them all because I ate them too quickly, but I got the banana split, the pb fudge, strawberry something or other and they all were fantastic.
