They have a medium sized clearance section in the back and regularly do additional sales for percentages off the marked same pricing. Found a pair of Saucony running shoes for under forty dollars, regular price was over a hundred and fifty. Staff is okay here. They are usually focused on putting items back and straightening up. Can't recall a time when we were greeted or offered assistance other than at the register when paying. It's mostly kept organized and clean. Prices on regular items are decent and within the range of a normal shoe shop, or a little under. Overall: B Check the sale section and wait for additional percent off sales!

They also have a small selection of accessories for pickle ball which seems to be very popular lately. The store is huge, larger than most shoe department stores that I've been to lately. Staff are very friendly and keep the store organized and clean. Pricing varies in this store. Most of the shoes that interested me were very expensive. Two pairs of Slip-in's that I was drawn to, were running $109 and $95. Most other shoes that sparked my interest were in the $65-$70 range. They do have other shoes priced lower in the clearance area but nothing that suited my needs. They were also selling their 'Foamies' for $20, and had a buy one pair get one pair 50% off in another section of the store which was a good deal. I didn't purchase anything today; however, I now know where to go if I am looking for a new pair of fancy Sketchers. It's definitely worth the stop if you're in the area shopping, check them out.

They also have a pretty decent size clearance area. The prices here seem a little higher than normal shoes ranging from $54 for a pair of flip flops to $100 for some tennis shoes. But I must say they had some beautiful shoes and some unique ones as well. Skechers sandals are hit and miss with me because it seems like they're always too big at the front end so I walked out with nothing but what a great store! One of my feet is substantially longer than the other, and although my left foot felt like it was walking on a cloud, my right big toe felt slightly pinched. I was attending a seminar at the Florida Mall, and I decided to bring my Skechers to see if I could find the next size up as the store I got mine from did not have it. I called this store, and after placing me on a 5-minute hold, Vanessa proceeded to look online to tell me the stores around that had a bigger size but not the color I wanted. When she realized after we talked more that my shoes were on clearance, she went back to look at her shelves again, and found she had the exact size and color I wanted. She was willing to hold them for me for 24 hours. As I was checking out, I said on a whim, "You don't ever sell shoes in two different sizes do you? " She said, "You know what, I will for you. They're on clearance anyway, and we need to make room for more inventory, and it will make you happy." I was amazed. Both shoes fit perfectly, and I got the exact color I wanted at a great price.

What does a bathroom have to do with buying shoes? A lot, especially if you have to go - and leave the store! 5 star if they had a loo. I was fortunate to find two pairs of shoes to purchase here, and that's a feat (feet, get it) for me as I have difficult feet anatomy with extremely high arches and wide luau feet (Hawaiian feet), but I managed to find not one, but two pairs of shoes for decent prices. This shoe store is HUGE and the word "warehouse" in the store name is pretty much accurate. It was so huge and large that they had rows and rows and aisle and aisles of shoes. They even had a clearance section where a total stranger was joking with me about the ugliest shoe she had ever seen, to which I would find one even uglier and present her with the offending winner. It was the most fun I've ever had in a shoe store. If you sign up, you can get discounts and also a guaranteed email-a-day on all the sales and clearances. I was going to unsubscribe as there is not a DSW store anywhere within 2,400 miles from me but they do sell online so I may check that out one day.

If you're a "shoe whore", then this store is for you. They have all sorts of shoes from sneakers, slippers, boots, heals, stilletos, etc. You name it, they've got it. I can spend all day here if I wanted to but today was not that day. My mission was black strappy specific. I did spot a few pairs but I have such wide feet I had to settle with just one. The ones I tried on were cute but they pinched my toes. There's no way I can dance or walk in them. So I ended up getting a pair of Jessica Simpson super patent strappy heels. The arch is perfect---not super high but not too kitten heeled either. I just wanted something that will give me a little height. But the way the strap rests above the metatarsals might cause me some pain after a couple of hours. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. My final decision was based on fashion... not comfort obviously. Other than that, I think DSW has a good selection of shoes to suit every shoe lover's dream. And don't forget to check out the clearance section. You get an additional discount based on the color ticketed item. You can save anywhere from 10% all the way up to 60% off. So if you're lucky, you can get a pair of shoes for as little as $15.
