This was our first concert at this venue but I really like it. I love how small and intimate it is. The sound is good quality and I noticed the sound guys reworking it all night to make sure we were getting the best experience. The service was good, the drinks were mostly good(we had a couple of the same drink that came to the table and they were not equal pour) but overall great experience. They have some really cool seating areas outside with fire pits to keep you warm. WE WILL BE BACK! read more

The venue is impressive when you first walk in. Lots of seating, looks new, lots of wood, kind of a country feel. We sat in the balcony for the concert. DON'T sit in the balcony for a concert. They seat 8 people to a large table, which is nice, you have a bunch of room. But no one at the table can see the stage if you are seated. Some people had to turn their chairs completely around and some people had to get up and stand at the balcony edge the entire time. Decent sound ( it was loud enough ) but couldn't hear what the singer was actually singing. I don't know if that is a band thing or a venue thing. The service was excellent, but we just purchased drinks. I have an issue with the bathroom. The stalls are so small in the women's bathroom that you have to STEP PAST the toilet to close the door. When you stand up after going, you have to back up to the side of the toilet to open the stall door. So uncomfortable! And THEN, wash your hands and there is no paper anywhere near the sinks! You have to walk to the door to get paper to dry your hands. So if you had to put your purse in between your knees to wash your hands, you will have to grab your purse with wet hands to get over to the towels to dry your hands. read more

We had a great time at Boot Barn Hall tonight!! It's a wonderful dinner + concert venue. We got there when the doors opened (6pm for a 7:30 concert) and were shown quickly to our table. There are probably 50ish 8-top tables on the main floor, then a wraparound balcony with 8-person (single table) box seats. There is table service throughout the concert. Our waitress quickly took our drink order - several beers on tap, more in cans, and cocktails. Our beers arrived and we placed our dinner order. We both ordered the signature brisket sandwich - mine with Mac n cheese, his with baked beans. Everything was very tasty. We followed dinner with the chocolate cake for two... it's more like cake for eight!! Very very good. We went to see Blackhawk. Josh Courson was the opening act, and he was really good! Blackhawk was WONDERFUL! You can tell they love what they do! The sound in the venue is very good, as well. We will definitely return when in the area again. read more

I didn't really try any of their food when I was there . Bartenders are amazing love the service. Everyone is pretty helpful. The ambience is country. I had an amazing time even though they mix up the music in here. I love to dance so learning out a line dance was really fun. They do need a better air conditioner system because it gets hot in there, but I danced all night. OK Gainesville! I didn't know this entertainment district existed, but now that I do, I'll certainly be back! We bought tickets to see a local band. Our seats were in the back, but honestly any seat would have been a great choice. You can see easily to the stage from any table. The sound was clear throughout the venue as well. They have a full menu but we'd already eaten. We did have a cocktail each and they were good. I was pleased with the amount for the price as well. So we went for the first time last night. We decided to try the food since it was available there. The positives; it's a fantastic venue. Gorgeous. There is a big restaurant with a fabulous patio, then a venue hall for concerts. It's a wow. I would love to have a place like that. The food, no. We were so disappointed. We ordered and got our food super fast. Like under 10. It was ice cold. Everything. My husband hates to complain or return anything, but he did ask them to heat up the appetizer. They just remade it and it still wasn't hot. Unfortunately the flavors weren't there either. There were some great servers there. We saw them, at other tables. Ours claimed to be new. Hmmm. Well maybe she needs more training. We didn't see her all night. Lord. So there you go. Great venue, probably won't eat there again. All of the stars were for the place. read more

There's a bartender at Boot Barn named Jay. He's absolutely fabulous in his joy of crafting unique cocktails. Lifting him up with 5 out of 5 starts! If you have a taste for something off the menu, he'd enjoy crafting for you! If it's on the menu, he'll create with the utmost detail in care. Besides us not being able to find the entrance to the venue ( poorly marked) the venue is beautiful! I'm not sure there is a bad seat in the house. Great acoustics, big screen to see the musicians. Menu is very southern and not very appealing to us but we did order the bread pudding and it was tasty. Our server was very attentive. Glad to see an array of genres. We saw Jerry Douglas but excited to see Frankly Scarlet in the line up as well. Definitely recommend for a fun night out and keep in mind, there is an actual restaurant on the premises and we were told that the menu there is better. read more

I wasn't really sure what to expect when we booked tickets but we had a nice time and the venue is great. Perfect size and not overcrowded. Everything is in great condition (new construction) and the decor is very cohesive. The food was actually really good as well. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and it was outstanding (I don't know if it was $16 good, but I did enjoy it .) From the looks of it, they host a pretty wide range of events and I would definitely go back and recommend to others. read more

The Boot Barn Hall music venue is amazing! We go frequently - sometimes multiple nights in a row. The staff is wonderful and the quality of music is great. They offer a range of concerts including tribute bands, dance bands and original bands. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Table seating is comfortable and drink service continues throughout the show. Concerts start promptly (usually at 7:30) so be there on time. It's a great place and we're lucky to have it in Gainesville, Ga! read more

The facility, seating, and ambiance is great! The food is good, and the service is good but the drinks are a bit stingy. We have been once (Dueling Pianos), and were very entertained! Loved the show. Be warned --- come with lots of cash if you want to request a song! The only negative is that the food and drinks are VERY expensive. The cost for some nachos and 2 drinks (straight bourbon - nothing fancy) with venue generated tax and tip was a whopping $67.00! Add that to a $55.00 ticket, and it was way too pricy to return on a regular basis. read more

OK room, horrible service. Very nice, new venue. Sound is adequate, not great. If you want a drink, forget the server, just go to the bar and wait, and wait. Tickets are quite expensive, unless you buy a whole table (8 seats), you're going to be sitting around a table with multiple people you don't know. If you really want to see the performing act, go, there are worse places to see live music. Otherwise go to YouTube. read more

Place is amazing! Went to see Don McClean perform there. The inside is like a brand new barn atmosphere. I don't think there is a bad seat in the place. The sound system was on spot. I had a drink and it was good. A little pricy but I expected that. The server was great. All in all it was a great experience there. read more

We went to the Purple Madness show love the show. The food we ordered was two brisket tacos. They should be called fat tacos no brisket just full of fat and the tortillas are disgusting. The fat is supposed to be scraped off the brisket before you served it. Those tacos were disgusting not to mention they had hardly had anything on them. The price for the the food compared to the portion size is ridiculous. You should get more food for the money. I hope this is not what's on your menu at the restaurant but would not know we have never eaten there. We also ordered the Chicken Cesar salad it was decent. The side of baked beans were really good but cold, the side of mac & cheese was disgusting and cold. The waitress was wonderful. The service was good, but the food sucked. we will be back. Our experience tonight has completely discounted any return to the Boot Barn and we will certainly tell anyone we know to avoid attending an event there. After spending nearly $1,000 between ticket/food/drinks to attend the Purple Madness show, my husband was enjoying the show in one of the balcony boxes, minding his own business, not causing any disruption to any other patron, was asked to leave because his Hawaiian shirt was unbuttoned too low to the security guard's liking. Mind you, any woman at the show, including myself, was showing more skin than my husband, but somehow he was a problem. The security guard stayed by our booth, watching my us which definitely made us feel like we were targeted. My husband buttoned his shirt up, but the security guard again approached us with disrespect and took it personally and completely blew it out of proportion and had my husband kicked out. The Gainesville City Police Department could not have been more polite, but the security guard at the venue was very clearly on a power trip. The kind police officer encouraged us to speak with the manager, which we did, but she stood behind the security officer and asked us to leave. For someone that was a well behaved patron, enjoying the show, causing no disruption to their neighbors or destruction to the property, this incident seemed blown out of proportion. The other members of our party stayed behind and both booths on either side of ours could not understand why my husband was removed which only goes to prove that we were not causing any disruption. I will be contacting management on Monday to file my grievances. I would warn any potential patron to avoid this venue as the security seems to be on a power trip to remove anyone that shows a challenge to them in any way. Credit is due to the service staff as they were very sweet and accommodating. Our service was quick and the quality of food was good, but we will never attend another event at the Boot Barn and will certainly tell everyone we know to avoid attending any event due to the pompousness of the security staff. Our hats off to the Gainesville City Police department as they seemed to see the absurdity of my husband being asked to leave. The officer was very kind to me in our discussions, but was ultimately bound by the ridiculous demands of the security guard. That gentleman should seriously reconsider his definition of an unruly customer as my husband with his Hawaiian shirt unbuttoned 3 buttons was certainly not a criminal. Shame on him and the management of the Boot Barn. If my husband had been violent or inappropriate in some way, we would at least understand their requests, but this was just absurd. We were having a lovely evening and were even discussing attending the upcoming Pearl Jam cover band and Journey cover band events coming up, but will certainly not attend by any means and will tell everyone we know to avoid attending any further events due to the irrational events of their security staff. Do better Boot Barn. There are offenses that merit removal from the venue, but a man's Hawaiian shirt unbutton 2 bottoms too far for a security guard's liking is absurd. read more
