This is a review for both the Cumming GA and Gainesville, GA stores. My daughter and I were going to see Cowboy Carter, and that inspired me to pull the trigger on buying a pair of Western boots. My husband was in Cumming GA for work, and volunteered to buy a pair of boots for me at a Boot Barn. He was short on time, so I was scrambling online to select a style, and called the store. Shelena answered the phone, and her help made this experience delightful. When my husband walked in the store, he was met by her immediately, and the two of them together found the perfect boot for me. She took her time and gave recommendations that made me just turn the whole thing over to the two of them, saying, "I trust her." Through no fault of her own, the normal Ariat size that I take was just slightly too small, however. (I have been wearing Ariat for 15 yrs, and own several pairs, but not a western style.) So! that evening, my husband and I went online, found that the Gainesville store had the half size larger and with the first-rate help of Corrie, exchanged the boots with complete confidence. I was very unsure of the fit of a western boot, and she really sealed the deal by offering expert advice. The entire staff was charming and friendly - they were just as excited as I was about the concert, and I ended up buying an absolute classic Levi's denim vest that I know I will wear to death. Corrie also noticed that Shelena had helped us when she was processing the return, and said she was amazing - all of this gave us a positive view of the company. You really can't go wrong with these stores. The selection of boots is comprehensive, there's a great array of clothing and accessories - the only shortfall was in menswear - my husband is always on the hunt for hard-wearing denim, and they admitted they were not fully stocked. They are willing to order odd sizes for you, too. (Fortunately, this was not necessary!) Good quality boots are not cheap, but Ariat is a good price point, by the way. Bought a pair of Cody James Decimator work boots. After about a month the inner lining of the boot started to separate. I went back to the store and spoke with a manager about exchanging them. He said there was nothing he could do and recommend I try a cobbler to repair the boot. I spent $270, after tax, on these boots. I should've gotten more than a month's use out of them. Definitely should not have to spend more money to repair them. Especially with Cody James being Boot Barns in house brand. Do not recommend buying these boots for work purposes as they do not hold up and Boot Barn will not help in the matter. read more

We bought vip tickets to the Dueling Pianos performance and the seats were in box #1. We thought they would be great seats but not so. You can't even see the performers. We asked the manager and she said to look up on the big screens. On the big screen, you could see one or the other piano dueler but usually not both at the same time. I compare it to going to a football game and only being able to see the jumbotron not the actual action The VIP more expensive ticket was in truth, a far worse seat in the house! We asked the manager if she could move us and she said there were no other seats in the barn available. We asked for a refund as we felt that the ticket sale was a scam ( deception). She called her security guard who escorted my husband, my best friend who was visiting from Birmingham, and me outside the door and up the street. So unbelievable! We had not even heard the entirety of the first song. To make matters worse, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. The manager responded that she did offer us a different seat and she did offer us a refund and even said my husband used curse words ( all not true at all). We were disappointed in the seats, disappointed that we were forced to leave ( at 65 and 67, I guess there is a first time for everything) and also disappointed that she blatantly lied to our credit card company. They may have some great shows to offer but I know my husband and I will never support the Boot Barn. read more

We recently attended Dueling Pianos, celebrating a dear friends' birthday. The show was wonderful, the staff and service were less than accommodating. For the first time in my old age, we were cut off drink service because " someone in our party was slurring their words". We had designated drivers but that did not matter. Oddly enough, while leaving the venue, we passed a woman who was unable to walk out of the hall without stumbling and needing assistance. Very disappointed in how we were treated - sober and having fun... will not be back... read more

Found some boots that I liked at a reasonable price. You won't find any boots under a hundred dollars here and there is no upper price limit. Work and dress clothing for men and women. Very friendly gentleman at the front counter. Had a good night, will return. They also have an online ordering process but I don't order much for clothing online but it seems user friendly. read more

I typically don't like reporting negative news but the customer service or lack there of just really bothered me. I walked in and not one peep from the guy at the front. I proceeded to check out some boots (by myself) with hopes of placing a pair on my Christmas list. After patiently waiting, I purposefully went back towards the front of the dead store with hopes that I would be acknowledged, just slightly with maybe a "Ma'am did you need anything, etc." but NO! Even after they (now an additional male) checked out two other women, I waited around the front rack only to hear, "I'm gonna go make some boxes". Not a "May I help you find anything" or Nothing! I'm a low-key chic, so I walked out but couldn't let my mind and heart be clear. I walked back in and informed them of their oblivious acts and how they never acknowledged me nor seemed to give two squats!Needless to say, no boots from Boot Barn for me! Was told after I talked to 3 people that they had low rise jeans, I drove almost an hour to get there to find out they didn't have any low rise at all. Very dissapointed. read more

Great place! Only thing is that you have to be let in with a key to the dressing rooms..Guess to prevent thefts...Great selection and reasonable prices... Will def be back... read more
