But no worries if you missed this, they have a Buy One Get One deal until the end of November! Firstly, very considerate and organized Grand Opening - a lit up tent for the customers waiting in the rain, they had check cards so you could decide on what free drink to get, and finally they offered hot tea while we waited outside! This just shows the thought and care they have for their customers and to make this experience positive! After about 30 minutes, my boyfriend and I got our Free Bubble Teas! I had the Milk Tea with Pearls (half-sweet, less ice) and my boyfriend had the Passionfruit Green Tea with Pearls (half-sweet, less ice). The Milk Tea had a good tea flavour and the milk was creamy, the half sweet was made to be a perfect balance of sweetness and tea. The pearls were made perfectly too - lots of chewiness and decent sweetness. Considering how busy they were and they managed to make this top-notch drink, it's very impressive! My boyfriend enjoyed the freshness of the Passionfruit Green Tea, and with sweetness of the pearls it balanced out the tartness of the passionfruit. A pretty big bubble tea shop with plenty of seating and a large, wooden communal table in the front. Staff were really friendly and they kept the place really clean with the high turnover of customers. They have lots of other drink options like smoothies and seasonal fruit milks, which have a lot of customization options in terms of flavours and toppings too! Overall, glad to have another bubble tea shop close by that is serving delicious drinks!

I seem to always run into the same staff member working here, she's very nice! The smoothies and the sweets here are delicious if you like health food. The smoothies come in interesting flavours and are made with good stuff. The protein bar, lemon bar, and black bean brownie all have that melt in your mouth texture and a rich natural flavour. They also have pre-made bowls and wraps here, which are good at the Yaletown location, but I haven't gotten any from here.

Holy smokes, the Acai bowls here are massive. We were soooo full. If we ever come here again, we will just share one bowl with each other. Not sure that we will come here again though. The Acai bowls weren't bad but I've had better. I feel it could have been a bit sweeter. I was not impressed with my mom's Avocado Toast. I could see my mother struggling to cut her Avocado Toast so it seems the crust was quite hard. She ended up leaving a lot of the crust on her plate and just ate the middle of the bread. On the website I had seen Avocado Toast, sandwiches, wraps and Salmon Lox Bagel. I was quite dismayed to walk into this place and not see any of that stuff written on the menu. There was a small sign by the cashier that said to ask about Avocado Toast. I guess by the same token, I would have had to ask about Salmon Lox Bagel. Why make us ask about it? Why not just include it on the huge menu that was up on the wall? Might have made life easier when it came to ordering something for my mom who isn't into Acai bowls like us. This place seems to be somehow shared with Bean Around the World coffee shop which is right next door. There's no wall separating the two shops. You can walk from Anchor Eatery straight into the coffee shop next door. We ended up taking our food and drinks from Anchor Eatery and sitting next door at Bean Around the World coffee shop. Assumed it was allowed since there was no separation between the two shops and nobody tried to kick us out of the coffee shop.

I simply asked the staff member how come the phone app didn't allow me to pick up the item, and he brushed off and said, "It's closed! It's closed!" Without telling me, clearly the restaurant was still open until 9:00pm. I asked a female employee and she was understanding and explained to me that the app shuts down half hour before the store closes. I went in at 8:38pm. I was 8 minutes shy from the app closing. Plus, she indicated the 10% discount applied for a minimum of $25.00 (which was a smaller print on the front door). Even if I tried to order before the app closed, my two drinks ordered would not come close to the minimum purchase. Definitely a REPEAT on my list. Fresh Taro Smoothie with homo milk You can substitute milk for homo milk, soy, or ice. This has real chunks of TARO! Yes! An absolute REPEAT on my list. For both drinks, please be careful, as both are filled above the rim of the cups and starts to leak/melt. If you are not drinking them in the store, and driving/transporting these drinks, I highly recommend to drink them until it is below the rim for easier transportation.

This place seems like the go-to spot for marina boats to stock up on supplies, and it doubles as a perfect place to pick up some unique souvenirs. You'll find local artists selling everything from handmade jewelry, cutting boards that make you want to chop something just for fun, rope baskets perfect for stashing things, and crochet clothing. If you're in the market for a memorable keepsake, this is your spot! The service was quick and friendly, which was much appreciated after we dragged ourselves in from our beach adventure. As for the food, we went with the clam chowder, chicken salad sandwich, and a strawberry banana smoothie, and they did not disappoint. After all that walking, it felt like we'd discovered a hidden oasis. The chowder was creamy, the sandwich was hearty, and the smoothie was the perfect reward for pretending to be outdoorsy. Now, let's talk about the flowers. The groundskeeper grows these massive, stunning blooms that are on every table, adding a lovely touch--until the bees decide to crash the party. Gorgeous? Yes. But watch out, because those bees are on a mission to turn your peaceful lunch into their own personal floral rave. All in all, a charming spot for food, souvenirs, and a few inevitable bee encounters!
