As some may remember, they were at 675 Somerset St West, but that location closed down rather suddenly sometime in the latter half of 2022 and shortly after, a competitor of theirs, Tealive, opened in that location. About 6 months after, Chatime popped back up, but at a smaller space at 695 Somerset St West (where Tea Owners, which was also a bubble tea shop, used to be). Don't know the backstory, but happy that there isn't a reduction in numbers of bubble tea shops in Chinatown, lol. Just note that any pictures and reviews before mid-April 2023 are from the old location. I've been to the new location. Drinks are still good. The space is just smaller.

TL;DR/The Short Version: Tasty and aesthetically pleasing…read moresmoothies, but a bit pricey. The Long Version: This location in Orleans is the fourth location for Juice Dudez. Their first was in Westboro and I checked them out there when they first opened back in 2020. I had a Pina Colada bubble tea there and wasn't overly impressed. But they must be doing something right if they opened a second location on Bank St, a third location in the Byward Market and now a fourth location in Orleans. Their specialty appears to be fruit smoothies and dessert crepes/waffles. So I decided to try their smoothies. I got the Fancy Dude $13 which is avocado smoothie layered with mango smoothie and strawberry smoothie on top. There's sliced fruits (kiwi, star fruit, strawberries and blueberries) on top as well as crushed nuts (I think pistachios). I added Astha (Lebanese cream) for an additional $1.50. There was also honey drizzled on top. The drink was super pretty and fairly tasty, but I found the price a bit high. The amount of Ashta I received was small, just a little scoop. The smoothie was definitely tastier than the bubble tea I had at their OG location when they first opened. The smoothies here are similar to the smoothies at La Bocca Juice down on Bank St, or Cocktail Antabli and Cocktail Hawaii (both in Montreal). Service was pleasant. Decor is nice. Free parking available in the plaza parking lot. It's where Menchie's used to be. Review #49 (2025)

The only downside is they forgot the toppings for one of the drinks (didn't realize until later on when we got back to our hotel). Other than that, I would definitely try their other drinks if I'm ever around the area. They also offer snacks.

I'm always excited to try out new bubble tea places, and it was pretty good. I went after work on a Monday and there was a steady stream of customers. There was a slight wait for my drink, but it wasn't that long. Service was very friendly but they didn't have some drinks and sort of discouraged me from ordering some drinks, lol. So I expressed interest in the Taro Milk Tea, but wanted to ask what kind of milk they used (like non-dairy creamer (yuck, not a fan of Coffee Mate-like products) or real cow's milk and if the latter, 2%, whole milk, or skim). The guy at the cash register didn't seem to know the answer to any of my questions and deferred them all to the guy making the drinks, lol. I was told that if I wanted a taro drink he recommended the Taro Frappe because the Taro Milk Tea is just powder and milk. The menu actually says "made with real taro" but hey if the dude making the drink is telling me they use powder, I'm figuring it's made with powder, lol. So I decided to pass on all taro drinks. I asked about the Hokkaido Milk Tea and was told they didn't have that. Ok then. The guy suggested I get a fruit tea. So I asked about the Wintermelon tea and I didn't quite catch what he said about it, but he then said he recommended the Hawaiian Green Tea because "it's really good." The Hawaiian Green Tea was listed as Mango, Peach and Passion Fruit and I don't like the passion fruit seeds that usually come with passion fruit teas, and told him that and he said no problem he could sub out the passion fruit with a different fruit like strawberry. I said sure and got the Hawaiian Green Tea with strawberry instead of passion fruit and with tapioca. It was $6.49. I got no sugar and less ice (which they call "cold." They call the default amount of ice "freezing" and no ice "lukewarm"). The drink was quite tasty, even though it didn't have any real fruit chunks in it that I could see. I read on the Skip the Dishes menu for the Kingston location that they use fruit jam. I'm happy to report that my drink wasn't too sweet. The tapioca were soft and chewy. Overall, I was pleased with my drink. Happy to have another bubble tea option in town. Paid street parking or paid parking lot/garage/parkade only.

I visited recently with my friend and we both ordered a specialty iced drink. I ordered the Iced Shake Toffee Nut with Cold Foam. This drink has a strong coffee flavour and you can truly taste the toffee nut. I like that it's super refreshing and it's perfect for the summer days. My friend ordered the Ice Biscoff Latte with Whipped Cream. If you are a biscoff fan, this is a must-order. They use biscoff to blend into the latte and they even place a full biscoff cookie on top of the whipped cream. It balances the sweetness of the drink and the coffee flavour at the same time. We also ordered the Smoked Salmon Toast which has a garlicky cream cheese, cucumber, smoked salmon, fresh dill, avocado, capers, radish and a slice of lime. This is a hefty gourmet toast and I love how fresh all the ingredients are. Make sure to squeeze the slice of lime before having it, and it really adds some sourness to the whole dish. I am a huge fan of capers, so this added some tanginess! All the employees are really kind-hearted and will come around often to check in on their customers. They gave good suggestions on both food and drinks. I really like the whole atmosphere of this restaurant. A must-visit if you haven't already!

It had spinach, kale, spirulina, mango, pineapple, lemon, dates, almond mylk topped with hemp seeds. It was a rich lush green on colour and so thick. I liked how the server brought out the drinks to us. It was one of the best tasting green smoothies I've had. Because of it was so thick, it was also quite substantial in portion. The hemp seeds were chewy and a good mix to the smoothie. K also got an Espresso. I liked the presentation of it. We spent some time here using their wifi which was fast and reliable according to K. It was definitely a cool casual spot for drinks or an acai bowl for a small group to hang out in or for solo quiet work. I'm glad we stumbled upon this little organic pulp and grind spot!
