She was friendly, but not overbearing (which I love! Hello, this is Boston), kind, and generous. She made the entire experience so enjoyable and stress-free. Anna was also fantastic with my daughter, taking the time to explain things about the root system in such a down-to-earth way. I could see she was inspiring a love of plants in her too, which was such a special touch. It's rare to come across someone who's not only knowledgeable but genuinely passionate and kind. I've been to this location before (about two years ago), and I also had a great experience with a blond guy who helped me then. He was excellent as well, and my plant that he helped me save is still thriving! The store itself is lovely--great ambiance, light, temperature, and atmosphere. It feels so peaceful. They carry a wide selection of plants and such fun, quirky products. Their employees never try to upsell or be pushy, but if you need help -- they help. While it may be a bit pricier than some other places, to me it's very much worth it for the quality of the plants, products, and the exceptional service. I will definitely be back.

It was difficult to find plants that weren't damaged and in need of some serious TLC, although the prices were fairly decent for the Boston area. I would surely pay less locally, but I digress. Checking out was also a confusing process, and the store itself didn't feel very welcoming to customers as if the music was playing to make it seem like the employees couldn't talk. I probably wouldn't go here again unless I was looking for a cactus or succulent, and even then there's slim pickings.

I was disappointed in the quality of the arrangement. The gift was delivered through Door Dash. Being Valentine's Day weekend, I knew that the shop would be busy. I waited until Monday afternoon to reach out to Micro Plant to let them know that the flowers were less than the quality I knew they were known for. Within 30 minutes of my reaching out, the owner, Julio contacted me. He assured me that quality is paramount to him. I was not asking for anything. I just wanted to let him know that between his shop and my house, something happened to my gift. He apologized profusely and wanted to make it right. A little after 7 this morning, Julio was at my front door with a gorgeous rose arrangement and an apology. I was surprised to say the least. Julio takes amazing pride in his work and it shows. By the way, I do not live in the city and his kind gesture meant a drive on the expressway during rush hour. I whole heartedly recommend Micro Plant Studios for your floral and unique gift needs. Beautiful gifts and an owner who goes so far beyond to make sure his customers are happy. I'm happy and can't thank Julio enough.

I had come in with a very specific request of small Venus fly traps. Within moments he had them shipped over from his warehouse to the store and a few days later he personally texted me and told me when they were available for purchase in the store. I ended up getting a beautiful plant for $25 that now munches on the fruit flies in my kitchen. The store staff is extremely knowledgeable about plants and how to care for them. I did like the bread section some locally made in some generic.. they also have foods that are prepackaged. I like the items that were made at the farm. The others were just overpriced generic items. all in all I'd say about 40 to 50% is grown and produced, the rest are just basic generic grocery items with a higher price on them. The space is fabulous very refreshing and comfortable to walk around. the staff always seems nice, polite, and willing to answer questions.
