We came here for a 5th birthday party and this place was just deemed "ok" to us and my very opinionated child. This place does need a bit of a face lift. There are signs of water damage and peeling paint as another reviewer commented. Some of the toys offered really looked worn down and are in need of replacement. My son did like the ball pit section that you can use the pressurized cannons to do some target practice. The video gaming section was cool for the older kids and adults alike. The legos/ duplo blocks section was also another favorite of my son. The party was strictly 2 hours - one hour to play and the other hour was for eating, cake and some dancing. The young staff was very friendly and interacted with the kids very sweetly. I was a little upset for the momma hosting the party that she was unaware that there was a birthday party immediately following hers, which caused overcrowding when we were trying to park in the parking lot. She was also telling us that the pricing and what was offered didn't match what was previously discussed. I hope she was able to sort everything out afterward, but we didn't feel rushed in any way. Party rooms were color coded and the bathrooms were right outside so there was nothing to worry about there. For children with SPD, there are strobe lights and they play loud music when they were doing freeze dance, so just be aware beforehand. It was alright, but I wouldn't say our experience was over the top of memorable. read more

had my daughter's 7th birthday party here. Yelena and her staff exceeded my expectations. From our first meeting to the day of the my party she was so professional, flexible, and accommodating. When I leaked into the rooms and saw what she and her team did I was blown away. The smile on my daughter's face was the icing on the cake. You can bet her 8th will also be here. read more

Boom kidz is a safe, clean and fun party place for kids of all ages. I had my daughter's 4th birthday party at Boom Kidz last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. My son is 8 years old and his friends also joined so there were kids ranging from 2-12 and everyone had a blast. From start to finish Yelena helped organize the entire party and was so helpful throughout the process and especially the day of. The staff made sure that my husband and I got the opportunity to just enjoy celebrating our daughter's birthday and not worry about a thing. There was a designated space for gifts, jackets, and the food delivery which was placed on a table and then nicely displayed by the staff. While we were watching the kids play in the fun-filled upstairs play space, Yelena and staff set up the downstairs party room. When my daughter entered the party room her eyes lit up seeing the unicorn themed display. The staff made sure that the kids were seated for pizza time and once the kids were done eating they quickly started the dance party to keep the fun momentum going. Cake time, pinata, balloon twisting and more dancing followed. Everything was super organized. The playground, bathrooms and entire facility are spotless. You can see that they take great care in making sure the space is clean. I am super pleased with the way the party turned out and will be throwing another party here soon. My kids also love coming here during open play and it is very convenient for me to know that it is safe so I can sit and relax while they go nuts enjoying themselves. Thank you, Boom Kidz! read more

Thank you a million times to Yelena and her wonderful staff at BoomKidz! She went all out for our son's ice cream theme birthday this past weekend. She organized everything from A to Z all I had to do is invite my guests. Everything from invitations, to the gorgeous decor, stunning dessert table, ice cream sundae station, entertainment, food for kids & adults and ice cream bowel favors to match the theme were provided. Kids and adults had a great time! The place is great for a kids bday or even free play. Highly recommend read more

The facility is poorly kept. Paint is peeling off the walls. Many of the games don't work. Overpriced compared to other indoor play areas. They charge $25 dollars for 1.5 hours compared to other indoor play areas that charge $25 but for 2 hours. There isn't any upkeep to the place. The person that runs it is very rude. I would suggest saving your money and go elsewhere read more

Yelena!!! Thank you so much for making my little girls birthday beautiful cannot wait to do it again!!

We attended a "slime party" at Bookkidz on 4/24. The party included one hour of free play, making slime, pizza, ice cream cake and a dance party. It was so much fun for the kids. I would 100% bring the kids again. read more

If I can give 0 stars I would. The owner is rude, the event was rushed and and the owner was unorganized and she micromanaged everything. She gave my niece's event decorator a hard time. The young ladies who worked there were very pleasant and personable. When it was time to serve the pizza, I was patiently waiting and when I asked the owner if I can have a slice for my son, she grabbed the pizza with her bare hands and practically tossed the food on my son's plate as if she was soo inconvenienced. It was cold and nasty anyway. The other worker looked horrified and apologized offering me a new slice. She ran out ice, served hot beverages and served popcorn at a party for a 2 year old. Not for nothing popcorn is a choking hazard for children under 6 and in order to enter the venue, you have to sign a liability waiver. Truth be told it seemed like she had a problem because black people chose to patronize her business and she didn't really want to provide efficient, competent and professional services. Perhaps it bothered the business owner that we were on the white side of staten island and it was too many BIPOC children and families for her sensitivities. Save your money and go to Chuck E. Cheese. Hot pizza and cold pepsi and you dont have to sign liability waivers there. She has a good concept but lacks the temperament read more

Great place for the little ones. Even the adults were fascinated. Had my son's birthday party there. It was a Character themed birthday- paw patrol, to be exact. They have a great variety to customize your birthday package. It's a one-stop shop that includes decorations, birthday cake, a goody bag, food catering, a magician, character appearances, etc. . The children had fun. The hostesses were fabulous!! Thank you for an exciting and effortless day!! read more

If I can provide a zero star, I would. Upon entering the place, the manager Yelena was so grouchy, looking at everyone with disgust. Considering this is a place for children, there should be someone friendly, welcoming everyone in. We had a terrible experience, the manager, Yelena, and I had an agreement for me to bring my own food since my daughter has an egg allergy, we also agreed that I would bring my own decoration. And this I was bringing my materials, that got her so mad, she was shadowing everyone throughout the party. She was pissed, that she wouldn't let Kaitlyn, the decorator to help me set up. She didn't disclose that there would be a party until Thursday within 45 minutes of my daughters party, which meant I couldn't set up while the kiddos are playing and my daughter's birthday was on Saturday. At that point, she knew I had no choice to cancel with them. When I called to check the balance on Monday, she said she would get back and never called about it. She wanted everything her way and rushed, my guests were disappointed and felt disrespected. As I'm trying to get my stuff situated, she came to me and said that I was "trouble". She is beyond unprofessional and I don't believe she's should run business. And I know for a fact that this is not the ONLY time she done this. Upon paying she discloses that adults are 3.50 each and there is 15% service fee. This place is a rip off. You barely get to enjoy a party and she is ready to kick you out. Do yourself a favor and pass on the aggravation that it will cause you. read more

Amazing. We had our sons' second birthday party here today. Elena the manager helped prepare everything for us. Very friendly, professional, and personable She made it so easy. Thank you to everyone who made our party great! read more

I just recently came upon this place because I was looking for a indoor playground for my tot. I found this one because of the great reviews. I was sad to find out they are out of business even though someone just posted 5 days ago they had a great experience. There's not many of these places here in Staten Island so I hope they just relocate lol. I drove all the way there from the end of the Island to find out because on here says they're open. Just wanted to give everyone else a heads up. read more

Today was our first & last time here. We walked in the women said wait right here & went 3 feet into her office & loudly fought with someone for a good 5 minutes. We paid, there was someone behind us who the women working was extremely rude to. We go up to the play area 3 of the play things are broke. The stepping cushions to the play gym are extremely hard they are not padded at all. My kid has a ton of black & blues on his leg. I read reviews & a few said this place was clean, I disagree, it wasn't filthy but could definitely be cleaned better. It was not worth $20 bucks for an hour & 30 minutes. We left early. read more

We just had my daughter's 5th birthday here. From beginning to end the process was seamless. BoomKidz takes care of everything - from the decorations to the goodie bags and they customize every last detail. The staff was accommodating, accessible, responsive and kind, and worked so hard to ensure the kids (and parents) had a blast! You could tell that everyone there loved and knew what they were doing. My daughter had a very special day, and she and all of her friends had an amazing time! I can't recommend this place enough! And can't wait for our next party at BoomKidz! read more

Had my daughters party here recently. Kids had a great time, but a few things unorganized. Pizza I ordered for the adults were left with the kids food so that pizza was being given to the kids. This is fine, but adults didn't even know there was pizza for them also with the rest of the food I ordered. The party attendant I guess did what she could, she may have needed help. We all helped pass out food and drinks for the kids. At the end of the evening when I paid, the owner said if you liked your service can you give the girl an extra tip. I thought that was an odd request, given that she was already getting a $130 tip. I started to feel maybe the girl wasn't going to be getting that tip, so I personally gave her an extra $20, but I think that was an overstepped request from the owner like I didn't just pay over $1300 for the party itself. Attended a party there today, seemed to be more organized then mine was. read more

I would like to share my recent experience with BoomKidz place where we held a birthday party for my 6 year old son. Amazing place!!! It is a brand new, very cozy, bright, colorful and was just perfect to entertain our little guests from 2-13 years old. Parents had a great quality time as well. Nice party rooms and awesome play rooms. The owners, Lena and Leon, were super pleasant to work with from the beginning to the end. They offer variety of catering you can choose from: Italian, Japanese, Russian and American cuisine. I was looking for a place like this for so long! Party hosts were very nice and helpful as well. Lena and Leon were with us almost throughout the whole party, making sure that everything is going well and kids and adults are having fun :)) Everybody was happy! Thank you so much for your wonderful job! Definitely coming back!!! read more

Took my two kids for open play since today was a holiday. We had such a great time. It's a big place, birthday party rooms on the bottom floor and open play spaces on the top floor. It was $10 for open play all day which is great if you have kids that need to get their energy out. It has a huge jungle gym type area with slides, and on the other side they have a foam ball pit that is really entertaining for all ages. Plus they have Lego tables set up and Xbox stations. It was really nice and clean and lots of fun! Can't wait to go back. read more

We hosted our daughter's 2nd birthday party at Boom Kidz last Sunday and I have to say that it was the most amazing experience from beginning to end! Yelena, was very helpful and informative about the package and add-ons. The facility is spotless, very clean and fresh (including the bathrooms). As a mom of 2 toddlers the cleanliness and variety of activities drew me in to this place. We visited other places before and nothing else compared. The staff were extremely nice and played with the kids and did face painting. The disco party so was much fun, lots of dancing and entertainment. The costume characters were great - clean costumes and very friendly. The food (catered by Verrazano Grill) was delicious. The kids and adults alike enjoyed themselves very much. We will be coming back 100%! 2 thumbs up to Boom Kidz!!! read more

Amazing staff and service, they were all on top of their game and had every detail taken care of. All of the kids had a great time.
