We came here for a 5th birthday party and this place was just deemed "ok" to us and my very opinionated child. This place does need a bit of a face lift. There are signs of water damage and peeling paint as another reviewer commented. Some of the toys offered really looked worn down and are in need of replacement. My son did like the ball pit section that you can use the pressurized cannons to do some target practice. The video gaming section was cool for the older kids and adults alike. The legos/ duplo blocks section was also another favorite of my son. The party was strictly 2 hours - one hour to play and the other hour was for eating, cake and some dancing. The young staff was very friendly and interacted with the kids very sweetly. I was a little upset for the momma hosting the party that she was unaware that there was a birthday party immediately following hers, which caused overcrowding when we were trying to park in the parking lot. She was also telling us that the pricing and what was offered didn't match what was previously discussed. I hope she was able to sort everything out afterward, but we didn't feel rushed in any way. Party rooms were color coded and the bathrooms were right outside so there was nothing to worry about there. For children with SPD, there are strobe lights and they play loud music when they were doing freeze dance, so just be aware beforehand. Boom kidz is a safe, clean and fun party place for kids of all ages. I had my daughter's 4th birthday party at Boom Kidz last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. My son is 8 years old and his friends also joined so there were kids ranging from 2-12 and everyone had a blast. From start to finish Yelena helped organize the entire party and was so helpful throughout the process and especially the day of. The staff made sure that my husband and I got the opportunity to just enjoy celebrating our daughter's birthday and not worry about a thing. There was a designated space for gifts, jackets, and the food delivery which was placed on a table and then nicely displayed by the staff. While we were watching the kids play in the fun-filled upstairs play space, Yelena and staff set up the downstairs party room. When my daughter entered the party room her eyes lit up seeing the unicorn themed display. The staff made sure that the kids were seated for pizza time and once the kids were done eating they quickly started the dance party to keep the fun momentum going. Cake time, pinata, balloon twisting and more dancing followed. Everything was super organized. The playground, bathrooms and entire facility are spotless. They charge $25 dollars for 1.5 hours compared to other indoor play areas that charge $25 but for 2 hours. There isn't any upkeep to the place. The person that runs it is very rude. If I can give 0 stars I would. The owner is rude, the event was rushed and and the owner was unorganized and she micromanaged everything. She gave my niece's event decorator a hard time. The young ladies who worked there were very pleasant and personable. When it was time to serve the pizza, I was patiently waiting and when I asked the owner if I can have a slice for my son, she grabbed the pizza with her bare hands and practically tossed the food on my son's plate as if she was soo inconvenienced. It was cold and nasty anyway. The other worker looked horrified and apologized offering me a new slice. She ran out ice, served hot beverages and served popcorn at a party for a 2 year old. Not for nothing popcorn is a choking hazard for children under 6 and in order to enter the venue, you have to sign a liability waiver. Truth be told it seemed like she had a problem because black people chose to patronize her business and she didn't really want to provide efficient, competent and professional services. If I can provide a zero star, I would. Upon entering the place, the manager Yelena was so grouchy, looking at everyone with disgust. Considering this is a place for children, there should be someone friendly, welcoming everyone in. We had a terrible experience, the manager, Yelena, and I had an agreement for me to bring my own food since my daughter has an egg allergy, we also agreed that I would bring my own decoration. And this I was bringing my materials, that got her so mad, she was shadowing everyone throughout the party. She was pissed, that she wouldn't let Kaitlyn, the decorator to help me set up. She didn't disclose that there would be a party until Thursday within 45 minutes of my daughters party, which meant I couldn't set up while the kiddos are playing and my daughter's birthday was on Saturday. At that point, she knew I had no choice to cancel with them. When I called to check the balance on Monday, she said she would get back and never called about it. She wanted everything her way and rushed, my guests were disappointed and felt disrespected. As I'm trying to get my stuff situated, she came to me and said that I was "trouble". She is beyond unprofessional and I don't believe she's should run business. And I know for a fact that this is not the ONLY time she done this. Upon paying she discloses that adults are 3.50 each and there is 15% service fee. This place is a rip off. You barely get to enjoy a party and she is ready to kick you out. Had my daughters party here recently. Kids had a great time, but a few things unorganized. Pizza I ordered for the adults were left with the kids food so that pizza was being given to the kids. This is fine, but adults didn't even know there was pizza for them also with the rest of the food I ordered. The party attendant I guess did what she could, she may have needed help. We all helped pass out food and drinks for the kids. At the end of the evening when I paid, the owner said if you liked your service can you give the girl an extra tip. I thought that was an odd request, given that she was already getting a $130 tip. I started to feel maybe the girl wasn't going to be getting that tip, so I personally gave her an extra $20, but I think that was an overstepped request from the owner like I didn't just pay over $1300 for the party itself. As a mom of 2 toddlers the cleanliness and variety of activities drew me in to this place. We visited other places before and nothing else compared. The staff were extremely nice and played with the kids and did face painting. The disco party so was much fun, lots of dancing and entertainment. Took my two kids for open play since today was a holiday. We had such a great time. It's a big place, birthday party rooms on the bottom floor and open play spaces on the top floor. It was $10 for open play all day which is great if you have kids that need to get their energy out. It has a huge jungle gym type area with slides, and on the other side they have a foam ball pit that is really entertaining for all ages. Plus they have Lego tables set up and Xbox stations.
