It's now game point, the Freedom Tower also has eyes it's on you as you call for an iso. The crowd anticipation is tangible. In and out cross, the defender buckles. Hard pound dribble to a step back as you let that thing fly...... BAAAAAANNNNGGGGG! But yeah, this court is great as the nets are fully intact and court is freshly paved. The upkeep is unmatched. There are a lot of sporting activities to offer, such as basketball in one room, hockey which includes ice and roller skating as well, and an indoor field that holds baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and even frisbee as well with even more names to list. There are many sporting activities to do here, and this is the place to come for get-togethers and/or just to hang out. Overall, a great place to visit. I hate this place for playing roller hockey. Nothing works here including the refs. The most…read moreunprofessional run facility I have ever been to. There was one time during a hockey game that a ref was sitting down eating during a game instead of out on the rink. I yelled over and asked him to ref the game he was paid to do and he proceeded to curse back at me with a lot of foul language. He still works there. Management is constantly contacted and nothing changes. This week a ref offered to get me a chair while I walked past him. He was only able to do that because he was standing in the penalty box on his cell phone while the puck was in play. I replied I want you to ref I don't want a chair. They are paid $25 for 40 mins of socializing, eating, and just skating away from a game in play. During the same game the other ref was hanging on the goal post the entire game talking with the goalie and not paying attention to the whole game. I have never seen a place that is a free for all for the employees and they have no manager around making sure they are doing what they are supposed to do. As long as they collect the money from all the teams the facility is still left in the dirty run down condition that it has been in for years. Hundreds of dollars taken from each team and they cannot afford to fix the score board so you can read the numbers? Several bulbs are out and just left without repair.

I took a shortcut through the park in decided then this will be my new lunch bought every time I come for an appointment. It's a tiny, serene oasis in the middle of all these strange machine shops in an industrial area. There's a water filling station/fountain, grassy plot, modern playground equipment, water sprinklers, a misting post, 1 full basketball court and a few tables/benches. Just enough for a little break from the day. I'll be back soon. Hopefully it doesn't get all super crowded.

I also enjoy the track that circles the complex. I have seen as many as 8 species of birds. This would be a 5 star revue except for the people who toss trash all over. There are plenty of trash bins but the parking lot and basketball courts have too much trash. Another issue that might only upset me is some people let their dogs use the facility without having them on leashes. And in October of 2014, some idiot let their dog use 2 basketball courts as a toilet. Great facility, poorly behaved citizens.
