It's not huge but it has a lot of variety and the prices are fairly reasonable for what is offered. What's really cool about the place is that they not only have the regular used books selection, they also have a good handful of vintage, pulp fiction type paperbacks from the '50s and earlier. They also have a good selection of First Editions that they keep under lock and key and go for some serious bucks. Of course, being in a WV tourist destination, they also have a little area for locally made soaps and lotions and the like. Not a lot. Just enough to make a couple more bucks. If you like browsing through a used book store, this is a great place to spend some time.

It was way too cold to go outside, but this museum is next to a lake in a park area that would admit of some walking during the summer. Despite the limited selection, I found a compelling suite of Americana and a nice atrium and event space in the middle of the museum. There were some pieces worthy of thought, and I rather wished I'd been in to see the visiting exhibition. Having said that, for a community the size of Hagerstown to have a building that looks this nice, is free, and has quality art is a great resource.

The museum has a good variety of exhibitions for visitors to enjoy as well as a permanent collection of art pieces. The Museum also exhibits the art of local students each year, which is always a treat. It's free to the public (donations are happily accepted) and visitors are greeted by the friendly staff as soon as they enter. I've been visiting this museum since I was a child and still very much enjoy it. Definitely give it a try the next time you're in the area!

My brother found a card that was clearly misfiled, and instead of honoring their own pricing, they changed the rules on the spot. The bait‑and‑switch was very disappointing. If you wanted to keep high‑value cards, you should sort your inventory properly -- not take away from customers. Extremely disappointing experience.

Everything is so well-organized so records are easy to find. That's rare in used selections, I've found. The collection of 45s is incredible. I didn't take advantage of the listening area, but I might next time. I left today after spending $175 for 24 records -- an excellent mix of new LPs, used LPs, 12" singles, and 45s. I'm looking forward to coming back once a month or so to see what new treasures I can find.
