Before I got married, I used to buy pre-loved books at Booksale and sometimes hang out just to browse on the shelves. I love that their books don't have that antique stink compared to the ones that we have in our university library, which would always trigger my allergic rhinitis. Now, Booksale has become a haven for my family. It is our primary source for board books for our two-year old son who never let a day pass without asking me to read him a story. Sometimes, he would pick up one of his favorite books and leaf through its pages as if he can read the text on his own.
Whenever we would do our groceries at the SM Center Muntinlupa, we would always pass by the Booksale shop and check out what's new on the children's books section. I would let my boy browse on the box of books on his own while I go search for books on the shelves for age-appropriate stories and board books that contain the characters and animals that my son really loves. We would always find the books that we want for our little one at a very affordable price. We got a Tigger's Breakfast board book in a very good condition and we only paid Php35 for it. Booksale truly lives up to its mission of making reading affordable. read more
