I get most of my books from Booksale, and I would spend hours on end sitting on the floor and sifting through the clearance and bargain bins. Throughout the years, I have come to love certain branches of this really awesome and affordable purveyor of quality second hand books, but I would have to say that in terms of hardbounds, coffee table books and art books, the branch in Harrison Plaza has the best selections. The mall is pretty old and almost derelict, and it's no surprise that not a lot of the book reading population go there to shop for books - meaning you would always have fresh pickings and first dibs at the best titles that get dropped here every now and then.
As with any Booksale, the books aren't arranged according to any classification at all. The most that Booksale does as far as organization is concerned is grouping all the similar books together - art books and big format coffee table books on one shelf, hardbounds on another, paperbacks on another shelf and pocketbooks on yet another shelf. If you are into coffee table books on art, literature and just about any subject, go to this branch. You won't come out dry if you're looking for other genres, but this is just about the best you can visit if you want to add to your collection of light, casual and picture-heavy books for your lounge area or living room. read more
