I had a few books that I could've sold online for 20 bucks or more and I literally got $1.13 for them and some items I didn't get anything for my items and they took them anyways and on the paper I requested it shows zero cash value. If that's the case then they should give our items back and not just automatically tag them to put out on the floor. They need to rethink their system. If they want to buy an item they need to set it aside and give us a list of hay we buy these items for this amount are you OK with it . Not just assume hey yeah we can go ahead and take this item they don't care and we give them zero for it or $.19 trade-in value. I also mentioned when I got there whatever you guys don't buy from me I'll just take back. They did have some items, most of my items since I brought three bins of movies and video games and books that they did not want. I guess they assumed I didn't want them I said yes I want them back. I asked for a printout of what I sold so I can remove them from online if I had them posted. The guy said oh we don't do that. I said you don't keep track of what you're purchasing from me? He said oh yeah OK and printed out this list and I wish I would've actually looked at it and realized a lot of items they took I got zero for they just took for free. I was not donating items to them nor did I say I was gonna donate items to them. I did buy $30 worth of stuff here (3stuffed animals and a book). I could've got $31 in cash or $70 store credit so I used $30 store credit and got $20 cash back. So I was really hoping for a lot more because I had hundreds of DVDs I just didn't want to take the time to post them online because it's time consuming. But it's just really disappointing only getting literally nothing snd them taking my items and some items maybe a dollar if Im lucky. When I got home realized when I went through the list that they took my Xbox 360 games and movies I literally got nothing for them that kind of pisses me off because I was trying to make money and some of these were worth a decent amount. One of the NEW Xbox games online is worth $25 and they literally just took it and gave me nothing for it . So I definitely will not be selling to them ever again. If they weren't gonna give me any money for my items then they should be giving them back to me.

Love that the store is so well laid out...because it's not overcrowded you can really focus on and enjoy each piece. If you're in the area, it's well worth a stop in. And bonus points: there's a delightful coffee/bakeshop next door.

Fable Hollow is such a gem--part bookshop, part coffee/specialty drinks spot, and all-around cozy…read morevibe. We were stopping next door at Dollar Tree for classroom party favors and decided to pop into BAM!…read more(Yes, that's the acronym they use, along with the super cool exclamation point). I told my son, "Let's get a gift card for your teacher quick and then we'll be out of here." 45 minutes later, I responded to my child in only grunts, as my attention was sucked in by the clearance kid section, discounted Christmas cards, and of course, the large selection of stocking stuffer-esque gifts near the registers. So many fun things to be seen and read in this store. I mistakenly thought this was a used book store, but it is moreso like a Barnes and Noble with an arguably better selection and pricing. I was a bit bummed that they don't have a free reward program, but instead a paid annual membership program that offers discounts and coupons. I may have considered joining this, but we are mostly a library family, so it wouldn't be worth the cost for us. I will be back and can't wait to explore by myself sometime soon. I think I could spend hours here.

I will never go to a books a million again…read more We had a doctor's appointment nearby, and love books . . . so we stopped in. We enjoyed the selection, and had a nice time perusing everything in stock. It was really fun to walk through this store, there were so many books, and so much variety, and even other non book items that we were really excited about like backpacks with our favorite book characters featured. I loved that. I did NOT love checking out. We don't live local to this store, so it wouldn't make sense for us to have gotten a subscription. The check out lady asked us to join and I said no thank you. She kept asking, and I kept saying I was not interested, and I explained that I don't live nearby, and this was a one time special trip. She continued to tell me how stupid it would be to not buy this subscription, and in chastising (and honestly insulting) me, she was holding up the line that was quickly forming behind me. I kept saying no thank you, and I really just wanted to get out of there and away from the situation. I couldn't believe how rude and in considerate this lady was. This could have been a great experience, where I was excited to come back. I love book stores. We have made big trips to other book stores because we love them so much. But this one had me wondering if I would ever want to go to a brick and mortar store again in my life. I wish I could give a worse star rating. Seriously, if there is an older woman working when you walk in, just turn right back around, it's going to be a serious headache if you stay.
