I thought this place had a cool vibe and lots of interesting items, but the employee made me feel really pressured to buy something. I got a latte, but it tasted more like iced coffee with a splash of milk. They also failed to mention the $10 credit card minimum until I had already ordered and I truly didn't see it posted anywhere. read more

This place is incredible. My husband and I stopped by right before closing just to take a quick peek and the owner graciously insisted we take our time looking. We spent almost an hour finding hidden treasures and we knew we'd be back the following day with our friends who were on the trip with us. The next morning we spent over two hours lost in her awesome collection and all together my husband and I got 12 books for the price of about 5 at a big name store and they're all in phenomenal condition! She has so much cool stuff to offer: games, collectibles, handmade jewelry, delicious coffee, and books for literally everyone. Yall have got to stop in if you're anywhere near by. I wish we lived closer so I could complete more of my book collections with her help! read more

So pleased to find this great place!! I stopped in just to browse and ended up staying almost 2 hours and came home with 6 books! There's a great selection of so many good reads. The owner was super helpful and available to help us find anything specific. I also enjoyed that things were reasonably organized for the size of the space and amount of books. I love books. This place has so many of them, and they are quite reasonably organized for the selection. Books on art, poetry, architecture, hiking, the mountains and the trails of the area, classic literature, kids books, romance novels, and so many more that I can't even recall. I guarantee you'll find something there, and the books cost less than you'd pay on eBay if you factor in shipping. There are not just books. There are records, mugs, gemstones, stuffed animals, backpacks, stickers, patches, art and photos by local artists, and delicious coffee drinks. My eight year old daughter entertained herself browsing for a good twenty minutes, which is a lot for my kid in a bookstore. The cappuccino was great, but the iced coffee I got today was AMAZING. It was the lavender one. You need to try it. At first it's coffee, then the lavender hits, and it's like you just drank in an herb garden. So lovely. Finally, the individual who runs the place is kind and welcoming, but not a hoverer. It was nice to chat as we wrapped up business. So I've been twice, and I'm thinking of a third time for another of those lavender coffee drinks. If I go again, I'll add pictures. read more

The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She gave us places to go that were dog-friendly and where would be rather busy for Spring Break. The shop itself was stuffed full with the coolest knickknack and books, jewelry made by other people, jams and snacks and stickers galore. They even have a pretty extensive coffee bar! Lots of flavors to choose from ( just don't be like me and forget to check what flavors are sugar-free) and non-dairy milk options too! What a treasure this store is! We are greeted with an offer of fresh brewed coffee, I selected mine with brown sugar and cinnamon which was delicious! I found beautiful crystals, jewelry, sweat shirts and very cool vintage T's. There were so many gift items, as well as books new and old! What a great way to spend a fall morning. The lovely lady running the shop was so nice. I cant wait to visit again! Please give this place a nice long visit. Shop local!! read more

For years we've been coming to Cosby for vacations and never stopped here. Today we finally did and I am so glad we did. Hundreds of good books., awesome coffee, friendly owner. Most used book stores have books nobody wants to read. Not here. I walked out with four books and would have bought more but had to stop myself. I would love to spend an afternoon here sipping coffee and browsing with my daughter who, like me, is an avid reader. What a great find! read more

Tons of good books, many unique finds and incredible selection of all types, as good as any used store I've been to in New England, New York, or California if not better, but close to home in the Smokies. Some cool treasures for sale in addition to standard tourist faire and great homemade coffee and pastries from the very sweet owner. A quaint little place on 321 just outside of the Gatlinburg strip. What a find! Fresh ground organic coffee, sweets and just about every book under the sun! A hubby and wife team make this place a win for anyone who visits. Walk in and ask for a certain type of book or a specific title and they bring you right to it! Hard to find copies for the collector without the collector price tag! There is also gifts, crafts, toys and such as well as CDs and DVDs to buy a person could spend the better part of the da enjoying this shop! Enjoy! Disappointed. Wasn't there long, we had driven 30 minutes out of our way to get there because of all the great reviews and wasn't able to stay and look around as much as we wanted due to there being no restroom available to public. Glad I didn't buy the coffee or surely couldn't have stayed long. Owner reports she sends people to the Subway a mile down the street. Good news , Subway/Marathon gas station had friendly service , clean restroom and hot coffee. Decided to go back to Gatlinburg without driving back out to Our Place. read more

Wow!!! I could have spent hours here!! This place is a true gem. My boyfriend and I were camping at Cosby Campground and on our way to the Smoky Mountains when we found this place. We love checking out local businesses and this place was seriously amazing. For any book lover, it is heaven. They had so many great books both old and new for children and adults. I checked out their collection of vinyl as well. They also had awesome little trinkets and crafty decor along with smoky mountain souvenirs for great prices. I bought a mug as well as two books. They sell coffee at the counter as well! I wish I could come back here everyday and just hang out and browse through the collection of books and other things they sell here. If you are in the Smoky Mountain area you MUST check this place out!! It is worth the stop!! read more

This place is amazing! Very quaint with lots of surprises. We had passed this place several times on the way to Gatlinburg from our cabin, and on our last day decided to stop by for some coffee. I really wished we would have stopped earlier because I could spend all day there! They have a million books to look at, awesome souvenir t-shirts that you can't find anywhere on the strip in Gatlinburg, organic soaps, all kinds of little trinkets and the BEST coffee. What an awesome place, just a little off the beaten path. The coffee here is most excellent. These types of places get swallowed up by Starbucks and fancy espresso style coffee places in the city. So excited to find this quaint little coffee shop near the park. Lots of books, nick nacks, CDs, coffee mugs and other assorted items for perusing, and if you stay there long enough you'll get a free refill on that delicious cup of joe. This beautiful little coffee shop and bookstore came highly recommended from the concierge at Bent Creek Golf Village. Just a quick drive from downtown Gatlinburg, this place has it all. Grab a cup of freshly brewed hand crafted organic fair trade coffee and walk the towering aisles crammed full of every book imaginable. The owner/operator lives on site and can disappear into the mountains of books and reappear moments later with that book by that guy about that thing. Truly a gem nestled deep in the Smokies.
