I was pleasantly surprised at the large inventory and they had a lot of the hot hits for hobbyists (Ark Nova, Twilight Imperium, etc.) in addition to the lighter party, family, and kids games. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It's not a negative, but be aware this game store doesn't have tables for play and is solely a retail store. read more

DO NOT SPEND MONEY HERE. I went to this store with the expectation to trade some cards for credit and buy at least $100 worth of DnD supplies and other Magic cards. They told me they weren't going to buy my cards because they were fake. An accusation like that is very embarrassing and serious to just throw around. I happily asked the owner to tear one of the cards to prove the authenticity and they refused and handed them back to me. I've never even proxied a card for a deck let alone tried to sell a fake card to anyone. I took the cards to two other stores in the area after going to the Gamers Link and they both authenticated all the cards. Employees of the other stores looked visibly confused as to how they could be considered fake and assured me I wasn't going crazy. Friendly and welcoming service from the time I walked through the door until I walked out with my purchases. The purchases? This business is breaking federal law by telling me my service dog has to be leashed... Simply cause they have a dog on premises... Federal law states... The service animal must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered while in public places "unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the person's disability prevents use of these devices." In that case, the person must use voice, signal, or other effective means to maintain control of the animal. If they can't handle a service dog that is under control and theirs isn't then they shouldn't bring their dog to their business... ADA law requires access for disabled individuals. They kept screaming it's their property they rent for one thing second does not matter if they owned their property. Then they told me to email them my paperwork again against the law. If your going to own a business KNOW the law. read more

If you're looking for a good local card shop, go elsewhere. The store owner treated us like we were a waste of his time. When I requested to browse the case cards, the store owner declined, then suggested I look through his bulk rares (50¢-$1 cards)... I inquired again, and he reluctantly opened his binder. And began to flip through the pages for me. Once I chose a few cards he looked up their value and added $1-2 on each of the cards. I would have purchased more cards, but he proved to be a dishonest businessman. The person with me had intentions of spending money here, but decided not to due to the condescending attitude of the store owner. We will not be coming back, and I DON'T recommend shopping here. read more

My Son is a Pokémon fanatic. We stopped by the store and was ecstatic to see the collection and selection. My Son couldn't help himself and was opening packs before leaving the store. The owner is fantastic. He started this store with help from his mother 9 years ago and they have been thriving! He's got a huge variety of card games board games, pokemon, YuGiOh, Magic, etc. I went in there for YuGiOh cards and he makes you feel like a part of the family. And the prices are very fair. I stopped in when visiting Gatlinburg for a few days, and I loved the place. The guy running the shop was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about everything we had questions about. I was surprised to see he had some games in stock that I couldn't even find at my two local game shops in northern Virginia, and he mentioned as a fan of the products himself, he was sure to keep them in supply. I was vacationing in Gatlinburg and found this shop while walking around not looking for anything in particular. But I sure am glad I did. As a gamer I understand to keep the hobby alive I always have to support the F.L.G.S. (Friendly Local Game Store) wherever I find one. With this store​ I found it easy to part with some cash and support the cause. The owner is SUPER friendly and can't wait to talk to you about whatever games you are currently playing and what games you want to play. He's extremely knowledgeable and honest, and while you might pay a little more than you would online I feel his prices are fair, especially considering the location. If you consider yourself a nerd, geek, or gamer make sure you stop by. Or even if you've never popped open a box for a table top game before, stop by anyway, you can pickup something that will make relaxing in the hotel with your family/friends all the more special. read more
