During the tour, the animals are placed in a smaller pens so they can come up to interact but even then, there's plenty of room for them to choose not to come up. After the tours, the larger animals have access to larger acres of land to roam and run. Our guides are knowledgeable and great at interacting with guests of all ages. They ensured everyone had a safe, fun, and educational time. The tour brings you into one full loop and ends at the parking lot which is pretty convenient. Right now there's the cutest little baby piglets. They always have fresh veggies grown on site sometimes they have fresh local meat every now and then they'll have some sort of blankets or crafts from a local artist. It's all just a very large area plenty of space for everyone. During the holidays they have a little xmas tree stand. Right now they have some homemade benches like plain wooden benches but they're really cute. This spot was on my radar for cut flowers, mushrooms and animals to pet - it delivered on all accounts! They were hosting a mushroom workshop but we just putzed around to pet animals, wander through the garden, and soak up some nature. The farm has alpacas, Jacob sheep, and various ducks. Cows in the outside fields. A beautiful cut flower garden; and a greenhouse with shiitake and oyster mushrooms growing. Beautiful spot off highway 116; perfect farm vibes on a beautiful autumn day. What can I tell you; Steve is the owner and opens his homestead for folks like us to learn, explore and enjoy. Isabelle runs the flower garden in the lower garden that is full of dahlias, zinnias, and other beauties.
