My first review…read more I'm building a war gaming table, and I've been perplexed over what kind of fabric to use. I eventually settled on either micro suede or wool felt. I spent hours on Amazon but the one thing that bothered me was how I'd have to judge what to get by a picture? I was reading some reviews where people said the color wasn't right, etc. I made the decision is need to feel the cloth to make sure the color and texture was right. I called J&J up and a nice woman answered the phone. I'm terrible on the phone but she was able to answer my noobish questions. Turns out they had ultra suede in stock In the color I needed. But the kicker yet was that the price per yard for ultra was half of what Amazon wanted. Awesome. While there I got fabric spray for the batting I have (I was going to use elmers glue... Bad idea apparently). And both workers there answered every single question. I had from stretching to piling to what velveteen was. I know nothing of upholstery or drapes, however if you want to build a gaming table, go brick and mortar, and if you're in the area head to this shop.

Today, I needed a special dress to attend my grandaughter's wedding - and the wedding is in a week!…read moreI had been to She She once, thinking it was a regular ladies dress shop because everything looks new and is so beautifully displayed. Then, I was surprised to learn it is a consignment shop. I! tried on quite a few dresses today before finding the perfect one! It is exactly right for the weather and the type of event I am attending. The dress I found is brand new - with tags - and cost a tiny fraction of the original price. In fact, everything in the shop is amazingly reasonable. Before leaving, I found a great pair of light tan Anne Taylor Loft jeans that also fit me perfectly and were a steal - price-wise. And - just as I went to check out - I found a very pretty bracelet! Total cost for all three items: $33. Vickie was manning the store and she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She found a chair for my husband to sit as I tried things on. The store was mobbed! Saturday afternoon "retain therapy." Only one dressing room, but everyone found an armload to try and the other ladies and I moved in and out quickly, One of my friends arrived and helped me decide which pair of jeans to buy - fun! She She on Main is a delightful shopping experience and I plan to go back soon again when I'm not in a rush to find a dress for a wedding. I saw a lot of items I would like to try.
