Bonjour is attempting to create a French cafe experience and at least aesthetically it pulls it off. Sadly it's all downhill from there, with some things that are ok. The staff are French, they have French stuff on the walls, and the menu is in both languages. The food is very hit or miss, and mostly miss. Our family of 7 had cheese fondue, which was pretty good although the bread was so stale (I know, it's supposed to be a bit stale), that it was like putting crackers into the cheese pot. I had a salade nicoise, which was good enough. My wife had the scallops skewer, which was inedible and made her sick all night. Shrimp dish was ok. Sauteed gnocchi was not very good (overcooked). Snails were good enough. My sense, is that they get most of their foods from food service suppliers and are largely reheating frozen foods - but that's just a guess. The two can't fail items (fondue and snails) were straight from the freezer - the others where more human intervention was required were not good. I think you'd have better luck with coffees and crepes. read more
