The venue can be overwhelming, with lots of choices. One section of the menu was dedicated to hotdogs, one section is dedicated to non-hotdog entrées, and also Appetizers, desserts, and drinks. The dogs here are amazing! I loved the Chicago dog, but when I had my a bite of the Big Mac dog I wished I got that one too.Then we had the pastrami dog making it a three dog night. The fries are also especially delicious because they are crunchy and battered. My little one had a kids meal that came with fries and he was forced to share. With any hotdog, you get your choice of beef,/chicken, or veggie. We went beef all the way, and it was a great choice. The dogs are split and grilled on a flat top, and maintain all of their juicy goodness. And the toppings just enhanced everything. If you're a hotdog purist, ketchup and relish or mustard and onions would also make for perfect dogs. The staff was friendly and super accommodating to a feral toddler. For three hotdogs, a kids meal, I need rings, and drinks, the $40 price felt like a bargain. Great quality and value.

We each had an omelet. My wife had the Greek omelet, I had the bacon and cheese omelet. Both were very good. My wife really enjoyed hers. The homes fries were good, not bland like most diners/restaurants we have gone to. The coffee was also good, not bitter like many coffees can be. The service was pleasant and attentive. We were sat immediately. There are booths on both sides of the dining area and tables in the middle. The main dining area can comfortably sit approximately sixty to eighty people. There is also a sit down counter as well. What struck me most, was how well laid out and comfortable the dining area was. For a relatively small restaurant it was quaint very clean and comfortable. I was impressed with how some of the booths had frosted glass partitions with nostalgic photos embossed on them. The restaurant also had a cute small electric wooden train running above along the ceiling. The kids really enjoyed watching the train running. I was surprised with the low review ratings from some of the customers. We will be back for lunch or dinner. I feel comfortable recommending this restaurant.

Their homemade Cole slaw was fantastic, especially on a hot dog! Macaroni and Cheese could use more cheese IMO, but was still good and I loved seeing it in a crockpot. Most of their food is homemade, with food from local farmers in the Shippensburg area. I was glad to support them and give e my business, and to give this review. Another nice touch was they had coolers out with drinks, and if you bought one they told you to just go grab it. They also had lots of sauces laid out. Honestly this isn't a chain or expensive soulless experience as many food trucks are. You get homemade food and an experience like you would at a potluck or from your grandparents. The dogs were really big and seemed to be cut in half but the casing was tough and the dogs were not of quality. The stars given were simply to account for the memorabilia and history of the establishment which was cool to see. Overall, the dogs made us sick and left us disappointed but the history is worth the trip? Maybe just don't get the hotdog.

I normally go with the two dog special, one with chili and onions and one without. The whole onion on each dog is just too much for me. So this way I scrape half off right onto the other dog.
