I'm a fan of Bonefish. Extensive fresh fish selections, meat for the land lubbers and veggies for the vegans. The menu is lengthy and I remain in awe how they turn out such consistently good food at just about every location. The one in Lakewood is clean, with good service, prompt delivery of items, and reasonably priced. The cocktail menu is worth considering and the wine list is very, very good. Recently I had the grilled grouper, with a crab cake and asparagus -- and it hit the right spot. Several years ago, I attended a Yelp event hosted by Bonefish and after listening to the regional manager explain their processes from A-Z, I knew I could trust Bonefish Grill to deliver high quality, consistently good food. I would describe it as an expensive version of Red Lobster. The positives are that the setting and decor were pleasant and inviting. I was impressed by the bar and was excited for a good cocktail. My son and I each order an old Fashioned. I opted for the house version at $15 and he went for their signature version at $17. Both were just okay but left us disappointed for the price point. The food was also just fine... basically run of the mill chain food. I had the shrimp scampi and my daughter had lobster. I don't recall what my son had but it wasn't particularly memorable for him either. We enjoyed this location! We have eaten at the Greenwood Village location a couple times. We wanted to have seafood and initially had our eye on the linguini and clams. We decided on the crab cake appetizer which came out quickly. It was good; not a lot of breading seemingly a quick sautéed cake. I like a little more sautéed but they were tasty. We arrived during happy hour and ordered the blueberry martinis yum. Later tried the spicy pineapple martini! Our server was energetic and attentive! Thanks for all the bread! This place was amazing. Our server, Fred, really outdid himself. He treated us like queens. We were welcomed and seated within a minute of walking through the door. Our drinks arrived two minutes after that. Fresh bread came out with the drinks. The bread and olive oil were fantastic. My starter, a bowl of lobster bisque was hot, yummy and full of lobster. Both our main entrees were first rate and served hot and well prepared. The building was clean, well decorated and relaxing. Everything about my recent dinner experience was excellent. I took a friend for a thank you dinner and we both agreed that the food, ambiance and service were above our expectations. This was my first experience at this location and won't be the last. Our order arrived within minutes of placing it. I had the stuffed cod, garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli which were all hot and delicious. I had a glass of the Kendall-Jackson Chardonnay which was a perfect choice for my meal. My friend ordered the rainbow trout with coleslaw and garlic mashed potatoes, she could not finish and took a large portion home. All in all, we had a great time and incredible meal. read more

We had the spicy fried pickles, the pickles were too thin with too much breading and too spicy to be very good. Drinks were tasty . We were told that All Martinis were on special for $5.00. We ordered two. When the bill came one it did not reflect that price. Our server went to fix the bill. When she came back, nit only was the price not adjusted to what we were told, they had added on. She explained that only the martinis listed on the menu were on special her mistake. I can't remember the last time I went to a bonefish grill, but my husband, parents, and I were driving to Breckenridge and it was really the only place open. Our appetizers were awesome! The bang bang shrimp was so good, the bread was delicious, and my drink was so pretty and cool! My dad is a big burger snob but said he was really happy with his burger and the quality was really good. It was very tall! I'll say the portions were quite big. Easy to share I can't believe I forgot his name!!! But our server (I think it was Eric!) was absolutely incredible! I even called the restaurant to talk to a manager to compliment him after bc of how great of a service we got. He deserves every bit of praise. This visit far exceeded my expectation. I chose this place because i had a long day of work and wanted something close to my hotel and familiar. All I can is wow... I decided to go with the SHRIMP RANGOON TOPPED SALMON from their seasonal menu and it ended up being one of the best meal I've had at Bonefish. When the dish was brought out it, I didn't know how it was going to taste but, the Rangoon sauce on top compliments the chili sauce. So, rice it a try because you will not be disappointed if you love salmon and shrimp. Lastly, I had great server named Forest who was very attentive. I had their Ahi bowl, and it was way too sweet. They put a sauce on it, that (for me anyway) destroys raw Ahi. The other thing that irritated me was, their online menu prices ARE NOT UP TO DATE. Incredibly disappointing. This is what I imagine bonefish consider themselves to be - a higher end chain. At the price point ($22-35) per entree with basic sides, you can do so much better out there - too much competition to pay bonefish prices for very small portions and up charges on many of the sides - really one has to pay $6 extra for potatoes???? I come from Europe so don't expect massive portions but our entire table of average size eaters were hungry after the meal. Waitstaff do not need to carry around iPads - come on, train staff to take the order! Poor server had to constantly swing the thing over his shoulder. Just not impressed. This was not my choice. A family member wanted to go to bonefish for their birthday. I try to stay away from chains. Denver has too many amazing local places to eat other than Bonefish. read more

First time trying Bonefish Grill on a Saturday evening at about 5:30. It was busy but our party of 3 were seated right away by a pleasant hostess. All staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Overall service was absolutely top notch for this price point. We tried the calamari and bang bang shrimp to start, with an old fashioned and a pineapple martini. All were excellent. My straight Makers' came with some "floaties," not sure what it was but the glass must have had something in it before it was poured. It was promptly replaced with a heavier pour by the manager who was apologetic. For our main dishes we chose parmesan crusted rainbow trout, a filet, and a poke bowl. The rainbow trout was plentiful and fantastic but there were a couple small bones in the first bite. The rest of it was bone free, so it was just a weird bit of luck the first bite happened to be a small spot that was missed in preparation. The filet was cooked medium rare as requested. Overall it was one of the best dining experiences we've had at a chain restaurant in quite a long time. Keep it up guys! read more

Bonefish has been on of my favorite restaurants for over fifteen years, and I've been to many locations. Not all are good. I'm happy to say that this location always meets my expectations. The fish is fresh, nicely prepared, they honor my reservation time and the service is pretty good. Overall it's a great meal with a nice selection of wines and TV at the bar. I just wish I didn't have to drive 20 minutes to get there. But it's worth it. I go at least once a month. Highly recommended!!!! read more

Decent spot for lunch during the week. I normally get the bonefish salad with blackened salmon. The lettuce is always fresh and the salmon is always seasoned perfectly and cooked medium. Today, my boyfriend got the fish & chips lunch portion. The tartar sauce is zesty & pairs really well with the cod. I've also been here on a Saturday after a day of shopping at Colorado Mills. They have a full bar and their martini list is pretty good. My favorite is the Tropic Heat Martini. Since COVID they seem to be a lot less busier than I can remember, so i don't mind spending the extra few bucks for lunch if it means keeping a business alive. They are following all COVID regulations. My visit today was super speedy and the gentleman that took care of my boyfriend and I was kind and polite. I know they're owned by the same group but I have no idea why this is not listed under the correct name. Having that out-of-the-way here comes my review. OK I love eating here so I'm happy they're back open because I love their patio. I got the scallops and shrimp but paid a few dollars extra to get all scallops. OK the scallops were amazing did I say amazing? No seriously the scallops were amazing. You need to go here and try the scallops because they are amazing. I had the Sockeyed Salmon with asparagus. It was so good. The fish was properly cooked and seasoned well. The asparagus was done right and not cooked to death, it was a joy to feel the crunch As I bit on each one. I heard that it's going away soon since they only have a few left. This was the most expensive dish on their menu. I love it! Adam had the Fish and Chips for the first time. I've had it before for lunch. Get this! It's big and yummy! The Bang Bang Shrimp-so rich and tasty! This is famous! Their Clam Chowder one of the best! Fast service and the turnaround for almost everything was fast. This is a little late (oops) but first my mom and I love Rachel from Wisconsin! She is a server there/amazing human who deserves 10 stars on her own. We usually try to stay away from chain restaurants but this place is one of our exceptions due to the excellent service, ambiance, and the food. I love their sangrias they are so so delicious. Glad to have made a reservation for Friday night, it's barely 6pm and the restaurant was filled, also had to park far away for a spot. I'm sure the Happy Hour specials are one of the reasons people populate at this time. The new Shrimp Toast is a must try if you enjoy a little Asian flair. THE CURE is also fantastic, funny it ends up on a Happy Hour food menu, as the combination of fries smothered in cheese, topped with grilled shrimp and drizzled with a creamy spicy sauce is enough to cure any hangovers! We like the Bonefish Grill also for its frequently changed seasonal items. Today we tried the Pork Chop and Grilled Shrimp entree from the Specials of the Day menu and really enjoyed it. It is something different to have pork medallions cooked in a southwest style sauce. The shrimps are wonderful, as always, Bonefish knows how to seafood! Cod Imperial is our stable order as we love that the tender fish is stuffed with cheesy crab meat. I always ask for Coleslaw and Potato Au Gratin as sides to pair. I wish I had room for dessert, but between the Happy Hour appetizers and two entrees and the bread, we were beyond stuffed. This is usually one of my favorite restaurants and everything was great until.....they took away a partial salad that I wanted to take home. Seems silly to complain except this was a 90.00 lunch and I really wanted to take home the salad. But the guy absconded with my salad before my son could say anything. The atmosphere is very nice. Lighting is just right, noise level is not too loud, table was lovely and neat and clean. Our server did an excellent job of not only coming back to check on us frequently, but resolved our issues quickly. Areas for improvement would be some of the dishes. I ordered a filet and it said 7oz. It was 1/3 the size and it was cut very thin and topped with too much scampi. The shrimp and scallops in the scampi were pale, small, and underwhelming. This dish was a special, so at least it's not part of the main menu. I also got the premium side of roasted Brussels sprouts in sriracha. Way too much sriracha glaze. My poor veggies were drowning in the sauce. Everyone else commented that their dishes were okay. My daughter ordered salmon with a side of steamed broccoli. The broccoli came raw! I quickly caught it, told the server, and it was remedied within a couple of minutes. Drinks took a long time from the bar, but they were delicious.
