Went as a party of 4 for dinner on black Friday. Food qualitybwas very good all around, though the portions were VERY skimpy. I ordered the large Chilean Seabass. Prepared well and tasted great. Portion size incredibly small. Everyone else's portions were small as well. I have never seen my wife eat her entire meal so this was a first as well because of the portion size. To compensate for the small portion size, get some appetizers and eat plenty of bread and drink a lot of water. Then you should leave with a full stomach and an empty wallet. Service was very poor in that the server would just come over and throw the food on the table and quickly leave. You could tell she just didn't want to be there. Management was constantly making their rounds to find out how everything was. They made 3 trips around the floor. Overall I was very disappointed in my dining experience. Unfortunately, in our area we are very limited in our choice of special places to eat unless you go into Atlantic City. I will only go back as a last resort. read more

I love this place. I've been a couple times and always get the sashimi tuna appetizer, and every time I get it...I wish I had just gotten that as my meal, it's so good! Their main courses are usually pretty good too... Last time I went I got chicken (usually I get fish) and it was some of the best chicken I have ever had. It was so moist and yummy. love bang bang shrimp! always order the bang bang shrimp here... one of their signature dishes! came here for valentine's day and was pretty pleased with the whole meal. got the ahi tuna and was very pleased with it... very tasty. server was very nice and attentive even with a packed, busy restaurant. slightly disappointed with dessert... wanted the creme brûlée but was sold out and was told the chocolate creme brûlée was just as delicious. so i went for it and didn't like it at all! WAY too chocolatey and had the bitter chocolate taste to it. overall a good meal... just wish i skipped the dessert. read more

Fresh food always, I've only been twice and both experiences have been pleasant. I've tried the Alfredo pasta which was more of a creamy shallot sauce than cheesy Alfredo; this dish was pretty good. We have been a longtime fan of the Bonefish since it opened and always enjoyed the great service and food. Especially the Bang Bang shrimp. However the Bang Bang shrimp was not anywhere near as good this time as it had a pasty and off flavor that made it quite undesirable but edible nonethe less. All the other entress were OK but not quite as good as experienced over the years. The soup and salad were the highlights of the meal both being just as good as before. I cannot recomend spending $25 per person without desserts for an OK meal. read more

When you visit the Bone Fish its all about location, location, location! Considering they should all be the same you can assume its all about the management. The food is just ok , this place is what I defined as Casual -upscale, mid to high price food so you should expect casual to upscale food and service. Ok now our third time to this place will be our last and this after just visiting one in Northern NJ near Parsippany ( fantastic location on all points ). If your thirsty at the Egg Harbor location good luck lol , you drinks will be coming at the speed of Donald Trump apologies to Mexico haha. Service is trained at the level equal too Burger King, only problem is the cost is not a Happy meal but more on the lines of a Whopper when looking at the value and dining experience. Do they care ?? no because they have a captive audience, you will wait unless you have a reservation so the shore demand keeps this place alive. In fairness to them and the brand, as stated its about location, been to the Parsippany NJ location many times with large groups small groups and other locations without incident, but Egg Harbor has its own personality and to me its not good. Places like this survive on the brand name and demand vs competition. Food was just sub par, even the manner of the way its cooked vs how you have requested it to be cooked. read more

I found this place accidentally while checking google for nearby restaurants. It was amazing! The staff delivered exceptional service, the manager introduced himself to all the customers and went around to make sure everything was going well. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended excellent food. We shared a sampler platter among 3 people and there was still food left over! The nut brownie dessert would make any bad day feel worth it. The fish is melt in your mouth good. If you are hungry and drive by bonefish grill, I suggest you walk in and try the food. I've heard great things about this restaurant, so I had to finally check it out for myself, and I wasn't disappointed at all. The place was packed, and the wait was less than ten minutes, not long at all for a Fri. The waiter quickly greeted us and took our drink order. The service was excellent, it was fast and very courteous. To my surprise, which I guess it shouldn't have been such a surprise, the food came out in no time either, and it was wonderful. I can't say enough about my dinner at Bonefish Grille, except that I'll definitely be back and will definitely tell my friends and family how great it is to eat there. Great restaurant! This was our first visit. We arrived Tuesday night around 845pm. I was very satisfied with our server (Brittany) she was very friendly and explained the menu to us! Service was very slow even though the restaurant was empty. The Bang Bang Shrimp came out over-cooked and had to be sent back. Entrees came out slow and not only were the steaks over-cooked but they were VERY salty. One of the members of our party could not finish her meal due to the saltiness of the food. The manager took her meal off the bill, but overall the whole experience was very poor. I will not be returning to Bonefish Grill again. **As a side note, the Sweet Potato Mash that I had had cumin all over the top as a seasoning. When I asked the waitress what was on the sweet potato mash, she replied "brown sugar". The manager later told me that they use something called "Venus spice" on that side dish and that is why it tastes that way. I have never had sweet potatoes with cumin on them and the whole ordeal was very strange and felt misleading. read more
