Stopped by this new place yesterday to check out the wings. They were absolutely delicious! Twice fried and very crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside. I ordered half tossed in the spicy sauce, the other half in the soy garlic. Both were very good! Complimentary pickled radishes were great! I will definitely return soon to try some of their other offerings. Staff was well trained and accommodating, social distancing in place with both eat in or carry-out options in place. They also advertise an app where you can order and pay beforehand. I downloaded the app but unfortunately it wouldn't let me "sign up". I read the reviews about the app and it seems like it's an ongoing issue. read more

More like a regular wing place...not bonchon at all. The chicken is more like the left over chicken you bought at a real bonchon and put it in the fridge and reheated in the microwave the next day. I'll drive the extra to get some real bonchon chicken from ellicot city. Sorry Towson. read more

We love Bon Chon. Ordered delivery this evening with extra Bulgogi and was very disappointed with the amount they consider "extra". It was not cheap and not worth the price. Won't be ordering from them again. read more

Have seen a lot of bad reviews from this location but still I wanted to try! And also I normally don't like to leave any reviews this would be the first one. I'm a big fan of Bonchon! But this specific location made me very unsatisfied! I ordered for delivery a couple of times, first time I didn't get pickle radish as I requested neither the second time and also the second time is even worse because I ordered 12 pcs of wings but I got only 10 pcs! Please be honest with costumers! Food is already over price but I didn't get for what I paid this is unacceptable! No more chances. read more

I've tried Bonchon before in Las Vegas, and the soy garlic sauce is delicious. It was a bit expensive there, but worth the price. The experience at the Towson location was terrible. The chicken tenders had almost no meat, and were clearly just frozen tenders with barely any sauce on them. The seasoned fries were your typical restaurant frozen French fries with some Parmesan cheese. I was excited to have a bonchon close by, but this location doesn't meet the standards of others. read more

The service is okay. They've got good kids working in there. HOWEVER. This location is often missing side items or sauces. I've been here a few times and only once was I able to get the complete order I desired once. It's frustrating and this will likely be my last visit. read more

Worst Bonchon. There is almost 0 sauce on the chicken when I ordered soy garlic. Do workers get a bonus for conserving sauce? Also barley filled my Cole sow container halfway. Somehow worse than Popeyes quality. read more

Bonchon Towson - Dry, plain chicken when there is supposed to be soy garlic on it. - Asian Fusion Near Me - Towson, Maryland

Tried Bonchon today. Food was decent. I order the pork belly buns, wings with split flavors, seasoned zucchini and the pickled radish. I placed to order onsite and had a cocktail. I wanted a variety as it was my first time. Seasoned zucchini was the best! Wings were crispy. Pickled radish was a disappointing. Pork belly buns were okay. Customer Service could use some work. The prices are on the high end eatery but it's more on the fast food level. Due to price and customer service it's 3 stars. read more

Do not go here , I Repeat the workers do not greet you they are standing around talking amongst each other . When I walked in I wanted to dine in so I asked was there self seating the lady said yes . She didn't imply that you have to order first and they will call your ticket name , I waited for at 15 minutes waiting for someone to greet me , I then walked up to the cashier asking how do we order she then stated here , I ordered my food . When I received my food it was hair in it so I notified a worker the guy said ohhhh no , they remade my food and unfortunately I did not like it , the food wasn't fresh and would not give me more sauce for my boneless wings . The least you could do is give more sauce , the right thing to do was to refund me my money and give me more sauce , but I will not be returning!!!! read more

Great food , great service ! They were rather busy and behind on orders . I stayed patient and polite to them , and the gentleman waiting on me offered me a fountain soda while I waited . That wasn't necessary but greatly appreciated ! Things like that make an experience even better . read more

i came to this place with my mom when we were searching for food during mother's day. we've ate at bonchon before and even at the one in florida. i can definitely say that the chicken tasted like americanized chicken, the soy garlic sauce was very light and didn't have the same color that soy garlic usually has. it was good chicken, but it was not bonchon chicken. it was more fast food style to cater towards the american community rather than asian community. it was like a popcorn chicken style. also when we walked in, the staff didn't even seem happy to greet us and just stood and talked the entire time. props to the guy mopping the floor though, you did a good job! i do want to say that i ordered the boneless chicken and the food was not that appealing when you opened it. i feel like the box could be smaller because it looks empty. the place was very clean though and nicely decorated read more

Delicious!! Wings were crispy and sticky with spicy sauce!! Bulgogi house fried rice was flavorful. Korean street corn was creamy and savory! Will return! read more

I had gone to the new location at Towson and was beyond disappointed. I ordered a 10 piece drumstick meal and wish I ordered 1. The chicken lacked its usual crunch, lacked in flavor and was undercooked (see pictures below). Would not recommend. read more

Ok so the food is great to start with.... but today we placed an online order and pull up to get it and someone tells us the store has been closed all day due to a power issue.... so when I mention that I had an online order, they go in and come back out with my order! They made it even though they were closed! You rock Bonchon team! read more

They don't know how to make rice ... pigs feed uncooked or overcooked and watery not like Columbia location at all

If I could give this location zero stars I most definitely would! To start, I called the store about 5 times to update my order and no response. Next, we get to the store and the employee that was handling the register greeted us with an attitude as if we were interrupting her night. She looked at us, tilted her head to the side while making her eyes bigger, and said (with an attitude) "Can I help you?" We got our food and went to the car. I checked the bag to make sure we weren't missing anything, but we were missing the radish. I checked the fried rice and noticed that we didn't even get a full serving amount of rice! The container was less than a half full. My husband went back in and showed the employee, and again with an attitude (didn't even look at my husband or the container) her response was " That's a serving size." My husband got annoyed and just asked for the radish that was left out and walked out. Now far as the food quality....... chicken was not crispy or crunchy. It was soggy, bitter, and cold. The kimchi taste old. This establishment was THE WORST all around!! Especially for the price we paid and we definitely will not be coming back!! read more

Food was amazing got the garlic chicken tacos with seasoned fries, super good definitely will be coming back !

The service sucks. The girl that took our order was not friendly and messed up our order but we didn't know until we got our food because our receipt doesn't show what we ordered just what we paid. When we tried to correct it, there was a long line so we had to wait, again, as it took so long to get our food to begin with. The food was ok. The flavor was pretty good but for what it was, and the price, it could have definitely been a lot better. They don't serve anything that can't be made at home and made a lot better. I was a sous chef for 20 years and this is a big disappointment considering I started my career in places just like this. We will never return here, or any other location. read more

Was very disappointed in my recent carry out order. I ordered the 2 drum 4 wing combo and only received 3 wings With my order. This I discovered once I had already left with my order. The seasoned fries I ordered were overcooked and had very little seasoning on them. Overall a bummer. read more

I came to the Towson location during their soft opening. Like others have said, it's more of a "quick-get-in-get-out" version of the Ellicott City Bonchon, which I appreciated since I usually have to wait longer at the latter location. That being said, I was expecting the usual, extremely crunchy, pretty big, wings that I normally get from Ellicott City, but instead I got fairly small wings devoid of the signature crunchiness. Aside from that, the flavor (soy garlic), the atmosphere, service, and street corn were fantastic. read more

When this location first opened it was hit or miss to me. I decided to wait a few months after it opened to try again because I know it can take some time to get the swing of things after opening. My order today-6 piece half and half wings( soy garlic and spicy) with the radish and kimchi was reminiscent of the bonchon I'm used to. I took one star off because they're kind of cheap with the sauce lol. Overall it was very tasty. If orders continue to come out like today, I will definitely come back. read more

Love BonChon's so glad they put one in Towson Md cause the drive to Ellicott City was 45 mins away from my house so glad they put one in the city read more

Skip this location. This is not like other bonchons. It's their fast food version and the food quality and size reflects that. The prices are the same as a sit down bonchon. You get exactly half as much food as a regular bonchon, it was cold and bland. We had the chicken tenders, bulgogi fried rice and fries. All somehow completely tasteless. Then there's the service. They refused to give us a water cup for my toddler, or plates to share the food family style (like you do at very other bonchon). Worst of all, we were chased down by an employee because we did not clean up to their liking, which is hard to do given the type of trash can they have. Overall, extremely overpriced and 100% not worth trying. read more

amazing, the moment i went there i was blessed with scent of the food, 10/10 you should try

Awful. Unfortunately, there is zero consistency within this chain. This location is full of poorly trained employees with a manager who clearly cares less about running an establishment than dancing around the restaurant. The food was subpar with lack of attention to the recipes that have been put forth by corporate. If I were the CEO- I would start over before it falls by the way of the equally bad Bonchon that lasted less than a year in Canton. Take advice from your northern Virginia locations. Find better management and a training program for your people. Better yet- hire a Chik-fil-A manager to help you get it right. There is lots of potential in theory- fails horribly in execution. read more

I'm a big bonchon fan , love esp the chicken! I'm so excited that it finally opened one by us, much to my surprise it's was the worst chicken I ever had ! It's a shame on the franchise that the flavor, the crunch and the quality , the chicken esp the drumsticks was still pink inside, and it taste like expired chicken !, no way near the Ellicott city location .. I'll drive 30 minutes just to get the real bonchon not the one here in Towson ! It's a disappointment! Don't ever think of coming it's a waste ! read more

umm so this location just lacks everything. i came here during grand opening and had to wait over an hour and the food wasn't that good, chicken wasnt crispy at all. tried it again yesterday to see if this location has improved but it hasn't. just go to the ellicot city location get actualy crispy chicken. read more

Worst bonchon in Maryland, fries are consistently over cooked, simply Doesn't meet the expectations of a bonchon

Literally the worst tasting BonChon I've Ever had ordered a 30 piece spicy 12/29/21(cause they ran out of soy garlic) like what???? Went home to enjoy my "Korean fried wings" and it literally tasted like America's best wings, no special battered wings at all. The wings were very small too. It was my first time at this location I frequent the Hyattsville and Columbia location so I'm no stranger to the brand. I usually don't write reviews but this meal was terrible. I want my money back. read more

I am a fan of Bonchon ever since I began frequenting the Bonchon in Ellicott city Maryland. Unfortunately, I believe that they may be set to high a bar because my experience today at the Towson store left a lot to be desired. I ordered for curbside pick up I arrived and clicked on the link and waited and waited and waited until I finally went into the store and asked where my curbside pick up was. I was told that my car was not in the spot when they went out there. This is not correct and as I have been telling the manager who is texting with me that even if that's the case why would they just put my food on the shelf to get cold and not call me or text me. Not only that but when I said how disappointed I was in the size of the complementary coleslaw I was told they had to downsize due to the rising costs of food. Really? Coleslaw? Anyway, unfortunately I will have to go out of my way to go to Ellicott city from now on because although Towson is closer it certainly was nowhere near as good. I will note that the chicken tasted as it should although it was cold by the time I got it home. Also to be fair, the manager has been texting me based on my feedback and well he states that he "takes responsibility" he still tells me and I was not there when they went outside, except he was not the one who went outside it was a young lady. I did give it to stores around than one because it does taste like Bonchon chicken. read more

Good chicken, but we had a 50 min wait for a 20piece :/ flavors good, just order ahead.

I gave this location a second chance after the last time I visit the order was not made right. This time the order was correctly made and it was done earlier than the project time which is good. Great job improving from my last visit. Garlic Soy Chicken Sandwich read more

They just opened 3 days ago so they get a pass. The staff is very nice and provided excellent customer service. Being that I have never tried Korean chicken, I did not know what to expect. Well, I had very dry and hard fried wings that lacked flavor. The tenders were also dry, tough and lacked flavor. I did like the seasoned fries, fresh coleslaw and Mac and kimcheese. I will give them another try, but please crank up the flavor and cook your wings to be crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. read more

I was eager to try this new eatery in Towson. I was hopeful I would be able to enjoy one of their offerings. After extensive questioning and checking the ingredients in the choices and sauces, I ordered a meal with the reassurance that the item I am allergic to was not in the entree or sauce. The entree was eventually served without any sauce. The front staff does not have all of the information needed. Ended up with a fried chicken patty, no flavor and dry. read more

This location always does a great job I'm a regular and once again Benjamin made sure I had an amazing experience. He's so energetic and passionate about his work and it is infectious. The whole team was smiling and courteous. The food tho....omg perfect. Bonchon has the best chicken and I actually prefer this place to the one in Ellicott city. Super disappointed and cannot see me going back. The side i chose was unavailable so they subbed Cole slaw, which I can't eat ....I asked for plain white rice instead but they said Cole slaw was the only choice. I order at 3:09 PM, waited for food for over an hour (4:16 PM) and then I had to ask for a refund because not all of my food was put in my bag and the quality was so terrible that I felt robbed for paying $22 for Korean tacos with 2 chunks of chicken meat that I could finish in one bite and my side that never came. Would never eat here again and would reccomend no one ever eat here. Mobile orders were flying off the shelf and no In store customers were being served. Also there was no manager present and employees clocking out from being overwhelmed terrible experience and got harassed when asking for a refund. TERRIBLE! 0 stars! read more
