This is our go to Korean chicken spot but have had a much more pleasant experience at other locations. The plain chicken was crunchy but tasteless. Service was ok. I give 1 star because of the ambiance. The Towson location off of Goucher blvd is dirty! We were in the restaurant two days in a row. The first day was a quick snack so we ran in to place an order to go. I needed to use the restroom but I could not. I was afraid because it was dirty and smelly but at least they had soap and paper towels so I could wash my hands. We got our order and left. The very next evening we stopped by and had time to sit down to eat. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and walked in the same bathroom. It was evident that it was never cleaned from the day before. We should have used that as our cleanliness clue and ran for the hills. However, against my better judgement we stayed to dine in. It gets worse. The dining area was even more disgusting . The area is not maintained between guests which I do not understand why. The cashier was not overwhelmed with doing anything other than being on her phone. Benches/ chairs were full of crumbs. There were ants and gnats crawling on the tables, and around the trash cans. We had to fight off gnats and flies and kill ants while trying to eat. Honestly, we were so grossed out we could not finish eating. I'm not one to write reviews or complain very often, if ever, but my order from bonchon in Townsend was terrible. I ordered the chicken sliders as an appetizer just for a snack while I took a break from work. They had the tiniest little piece of chicken on each one you got maybe two bites of chicken for each of the sliders. The one in the picture was absolutely terrible. The rest of the slider is all bread and cucumber. I've been to Bonchon's all across the country and I usually really like it but this location sucks not to mention the staff was not inviting, very nonchalant. I ordered 2 root beers, a shareable sized seasoned fries and a 20 piece of half and half boneless chicken fully expecting to be enough for 2 people. The delivery came a little bit early which was nice. What wasn't so nice was when I open the boxes and I feel like this is the equivalent of a typical lunch order... For the low low price of almost $50... The fries at over $8 doesn't even fill up half the box. And the chicken, which costs $25 and change, is just over half a box and barely had any marinade on them. I've gone to half a 3 or 4 other bonchon locations and I know this isn't the typical price for this little amount of food... Not even close. I live about 20 mins away but there was an accident or something when I got on 695. I was hungry, so naturally I grabbed a wing while sitting in traffic. I took a bite... it was mushy and cold! Now why are the wings I just picked up cold? Didn't stress it TOO much... yet. Continued on because with the traffic I just wanted to get home. Finally home and at this point the wings are REALLY cold so I popped a few in the oven to warm them. Fixed a plate with the "not at all fluffy" side of white rice and a few wings... the wings were just not good. They were over sauced and not crispy. After eating his first wing, my husband agreed. I visited this location on a Saturday evening. I ordered online, so I could pick up quickly. My food was ready when I got there. I ordered the half and half (soy garlic and spicy) 8 wings combo. I chose the potstickers with my combo. The chicken was nice and crispy and delicious. The spicy definitely has a kick, but the pickled radish helps cool your mouth down. The potstickers were fried a little too hard for my taste. My soda was only half filled, had no ice and was disgusting. Didn't taste like root beer at all. That was a waste.
