The Moron Twins, Dani and Danny (AKA Ava & Jamal), were entertaining from start to finish. They did a great job getting the audience involved and the jokes, commentary, and occasional history lessons never sounded like they were repeating something they had memorized - it sounded like they were sharing the information for the first time. I think it's smart there is a minimum age requirement (13 years). There is occasional adult language and situations, but never anything over-the-top; I'd say it's the equivalent of a PG-13 rating at the theater. My favorite part was when Danny, a black man wearing a red wig, pretended to be Julia Roberts. He had left the bus a minute or so earlier during another skit and showed up strolling along the sidewalk with his red wig, engaging passing vehicles and pedestrians - it was hilarious. There was a brief stop in the middle of the tour, long enough for everyone to use the restroom and freshen their drinks. I'd like to give a special, personal shout-out to Jamal for looking out for my husband when he was having trouble getting on the bus due to a bad hip. Thank you, Jamal! It meant a lot to me. If you are visiting or if you live in Savannah, this is a must-see tour. I highly recommend it.

They incorporated material from guests on the bus and peppered laughs throughout the tour. It was irreverent, a little raunchy in just the right way to make you blush. One of the highlights include Danny existing the bus and taking the show to the street with innocent bystanders becoming part of the show, all while narrated inside by Danni. We covered several blocks with Danny running through the streets and squares while we laughed in the air conditioned trolly. A great show, must do when visiting Savannah... and you'll learn a little history too... but much, but just enough.

A trip to Savannah can't be completed without a visit to Bonaventure cemetery, one of the most…read morehaunted areas in Savanah, about 10-15 minute drive from historical district. This cemetery is also famous from the book and movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. The cemetery provides a tour, $30 per person. You can also do your own tour. We did not take the tour due to crunching in time. We downloade a map from the Bonaventure historical society and drove through the cemetery. We stopped at the interested area and walked around to visit famous tombs. There are many symbols and beautiful statues carved by a famous sculptor, John Walz. The most famous grave is Gracie, in section D, who belonged to little Gracie, who died in 1889 at age 6 from pneumonia. Other tombs like Hershbach angel in as well as Taliaffero in section D. Section H and F also have amny beautiful statues.

Tim, the owner, prefers you text him versus call and leave messages, and I can attest that process was efficient and effective! He had an opening on a day that I could make work with my itinerary, so it worked out. He picks up the guests at their hotel or at a mutually agreed upon location that is still convenient. We started with a walking tour of the "old cemetery" and he gave us the history behind some of the notable graves and monuments, as well as the landscape. Afterward, he drove us through the "new cemetery" and pointed out some of those highlights. He answered our questions along the way and dropped us off where we wanted to go after the tour. We were able to ask more questions. We started at Johnson square and ended at Forsyth park. We walked the downtown area and learned a great deal of history about Savanna. Our guide was very knowledgeable and appeared to be passionate about history. i loved that he spoke about the good, bad and ugly of the historical moments. Everyone else cancelled but we persevered. As did Tour Daufuskie and our amazing guide. We learned a lot of history, purchased a beautiful indigo scarf, and even found the only geocache left on the island. We also enjoyed the boat ride and were rewarded with dolphins, how cool is that.
