The soup bar. Chicken noodle and tomato basil.

How does this restaurant have only 2.5 stars!!!??? I loved everything about this experience. I haven't been to a Bonanza in over 40 years, maybe 50 years (when I was 5), and I only remember that I miss Bonanza. So, when I saw it next to this Quality Inn on a recent visit here, I had to try it. It reminds you of a Ponderosa. In fact, I think that Ponderosa and Bonanza are now part of the same parent company. The atmosphere is one that I particularly like. I like the booths and quiet atmosphere. Since it's mostly a buffet, the service was commensurate with a staff at a buffet. I have missed big salad bars and buffets. This was reminiscent of that era. The salad bar was fresh and mostly full with a really good variety. You could make a salad of your dreams here. And, eat all you want. There is also a soup bar. Today they had chicken noodle and tomato basil. I didn't try the chicken noodle, but the tomato basil was absolutely fantastic, and would make an honorable mention. In addition to the food, there is a taco bar that looked good. But how much could one person eat? Next time. The food had everything you could think of. Meatloaf, fried chicken, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy, orange chicken, green bean casserole, a corn casserole (that deserves an honorable mention), cabbage, an "unstuffed cabbage"' which was the only thing I didn't like, salmon, baked beans, hush puppies, yams, stuffing, carrots, macaroni and cheese, pork pot roast, a pizza bar, a desert bar and an ice cream machine. Whew! The sticky buns were phenomenal! And, even though I was full, I had to eat it. Overall, 5 easy stars! Everything was good, some was great and only one thing was not for me.

big in jello

hair in food, bugs in food, green meat, and dirty plates. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! service is good tho dw.

Yep a few of these left, who knew! Large clean room, friendly staff, very fair prices. We had 2 servings 6oz tips with baked potatoes, added 2 Buffett, 2 drinks and out of there for $40. Everything was hot, the steak pieces were a little large but cooked well, plenty of onion and mushrooms. The Buffett was fully stocked cold stuff cold and hot stuff hot. Meatloaf, wings, soups, Mac n cheese, cake, salad and all the toppings. A really extensive variety of items from apps, entrees and desserts. Pepsi products also a nice touch.

This place is not all that great. The food is mediocre. You're lucky if you get decently warm food. Their buffet is not very big. Their chicken is over salted. Their fish is dry. Their dinners rolls are literally hard as a rock. Their dessert assortment is not all that great. Their ice cream is decently good. The salad bar is the only good thing about this place. They have a good assortment of toppings for your salad. They have a good assortment of dressings as well. The restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. I haven't tried their menu items yet. The only reason they got 3 stars is because of the service, cleanliness and the salad bar.

Service was nice. Food was barely edible. The dessert selection was the reason for the 2nd star.

I actually had the steak tips again and it was way better this time. And the girls that work there are still great.

I went to this restaurant with my 10-year-old daughter this past April 17, 2026. I informed the…read morehostess who led us to our table that my daughter was 10 years old, as there was a $6 difference between the adult and child admission prices. The employee then responded in a very bold and disrespectful manner, stating in front of my daughter that she couldn't be 10 because she had 'large breasts,' all while staring directly at my daughter's chest. This made my daughter so uncomfortable that she had to turn away to avoid her gaze. I didn't even stay at the restaurant after such a lack of respect, which left my daughter in tears and feeling insecure.

We didn't expect much because this was the only place we found nearby that was open on July 4th,…read morebut it turned out to be not too bad for the price. There was enough variety (sushi, italian and asian-style hot dishes, salad, fruits, etc.), and while everything was pretty mediocre, we were hungry, so it sufficed for us. There was a lot of sushi, but all the rolls were pretty simple (the filling for most of the rolls were one of cream cheese, crabmeat, and some tempura) and had a lot of rice. I wish that they displayed the ingredients in their sushi and dishes though -- they were only labeled vague names like "Beauty Roll" or "Dynamite Roll." I thought the meats were cooked pretty well -- at least the ones I tried (Thai Chicken, Pork Chop), and I also liked the asian-styled Mixed Vegetables. They had a whole section of fried foods, which I didn't try. The Lo Mein (noodles) were bland, and the fried dumplings weren't that great (the dough was waay too tough). The quality of the meal really depends on the timing. When we got there, a lot of the dishes were looking that they had been sitting out for a while (the pizza looked cold and dry, there wasn't a lot of food left in the tins, etc.), but it all looked a lot better and appetizing when they brought out the newly-cooked food, obviously. We got there at about 3:30pm, which was a weird time, and they "restocked" probably around 4pm. I'm not sure how frequently they restock, but it seemed like they do it at a good cadence.
