And if I don't register I effectively relinquish the points I had gathered. This change would have been acceptable once someone got enough point to redeem. But on principle I don't like the idea of being forced into registering for something I don't want after I was already earning points. If I had just redeemed a free yoghurt and I was told to start working towards my next one, I'd need to register on their app, that would have been acceptable. I could choose to register or not without forfeiting points I already earned. But the approach used was disrespectful, so I will now be looking for alternate place to get my frozen yoghurt fix.
