I hit a deer and scheduled an appt at Bommarito Collision. The guy who inspected the van (Steve) said the van should be done in 6 days. He was also very rude and condescending to me, I'm assuming because I'm a female? He said they'd call when they did the review and they didn't, I had to call and follow up. When I called and said that to him, he got a louder tone and said he didn't say that, even though my husband heard him say that as well. No one ever called me with updates, I ALWAYS had to call. I called and left a message with Brad (the manager) and a week later and still haven't received a call back. What they said would take 6 days, took almost a full month (4 days shy of a whole month). I get things happen, but they kept me completely blindsided in the whole process which I didn't appreciate. Overall, the work done seems to be quality work. But, the customer service I received from the front desk, Steve, and the manager Brad- was awful. I would not take my vehicle there again, that's how bad the customer service and communication was. read more

I had a part replaced on my car that took 2 weeks to get fixed. Thankfully I got a rental vehicle paid by my insurance so it wasn't too bad. My issue wasn't the work done, but a little disgusting gift left inside my car on a piece of paper inside my car, a bugger from someone's NOSE for sure. One large smeared bugger on the back of the paperwork inside my car. If I think back to my visit to the center on Dunn where my car was taken, I would think they were helpful and courteous, but as sit and this back after a period and review the situation I believe it was on purpose and very deliberate. Although I am sure that the actions of the person may not have been deliberate, the strategic place of the disgusting placement seems all to purposely. Otherwise, I did notice a few new scratches but the work was done well. So I am not sure how to rate this experience other than indifferent. read more

I took my car to Bommarito Nissan for a simple oil change. In the midst of that a tech from Bommarito Ford hit my car .Yes I said Bommarito Ford. Bommarito Nissan was taking my car to get washed and the accident happened. The oil change and tire rotation were of course no charge. They set me up in a rental car once parts came in. The longest part of the process was Collusion waiting on Ford to determine how they were going to pay for it. The guy at Collusion kept me update to date. Other than that it took a bout 1 week and half to get my car back. I was please with the work Collusion did. Collusion did work on 2 other vehicles I had itn n the past .I was pleased with the work on those 2 cars as well. read more

Some degenerate stole the tow hitch cover off my front bumper, so I had to replace it. I bought the part for about $50 at my dealership but the part only comes primed. The tech told me to go to a body shop and they will paint it for me to match my car. I literally drove down the street to this collision center the same day I purchased it to get an estimate. They told me they were really busy and just to leave the part with them and a copy of my purchase receipt and someone would email me my estimate. We'll, I'm glad I didn't leave the part I purchased with them because I likely would've never seen it again. I went to the shop on 8/26. No phone call and no email. I followed up about 2 weeks later and was told again that they are "swamped" with estimates but that the estimator would give me an email soon. I waited another week. Still no estimate. Estimate isn't in my spam folder and not in my inbox. I called on Monday of this week to check on things again. Another rep answered the phone and told me that she's "sure" the estimate was sent and that it probably just got lost in my spam folder. I informed her I've been checking both places since I first inquired and that I, myself, am sure it's not in there. She said she would have someone look into it. However, when I asked the rep when I can expect a call back, she danced around a response by saying--yet again-- how busy they are. She verified my email address, too. It's funny because whenever I'd call, they always asked if this went through insurance. I know for a fact, since I've been an adjuster for over 16 years that insurance companies contract with local body shops and place them on their preferred shop list. Also, I know that if the shop begins to perform poorly or we get too many complaints out of them, we'll take them off our preferred shop list. Insurance pushes a lot of business their way, so I understand that they want to keep their contracts and that they prioritize. However, I'm still a paying customer. In fact, I purchased my vehicle brand new from Bommarito. My tow hitch cover is the size of a half dollar. I even have the part. No installation required. All they have to do is paint it. You mean to tell me you're too busy to even slap some paint on this little thing, then call me when it dries?? No wonder their reviews are so low on here. I called them again today and was assured that the estimate was being emailed shortly, after the rep once again verified my email address. It's been several hours and there's nothing in my inbox or spam folder. If you can't do the work, just say so. And if you haven't been told yet, telling a customer how busy you are and how you're short-staffed is not only unprofessional, but also extremely poor customer service. read more

Left car Sept 9, we would be in Florida Sept 11 to Sept 24, were told be "done", estimate was $2300 Didn't hear from Bommarito, wife called Oct 3 ... Dave Scheu said car was up on rack ... would be done by Wednesday (Oct 5). Wife called Oct 10, Dave said got door, didn't fit, got another door rust on inside, cost now $5000! Said it didn't matter AAA would be "billed"/pay, we would still pay only $250 deductible. 10/06 Wheel $214.69, 10/12 Repair Tape Stripes $112.50, 10/13 Post Scan $119.95 ... 4 wheel alignment, etc NEEDED ... I don't have a clue as to how/why 4 wheel alignment, etc, has anything to do with Body Work/"Repair". Talked to Dave 10/13, realignment NOT DONE YET ... I told Dave NO MORE EXCUSES - WHEN WILL CAR BE READY FOR PICKUP? FINALLY ready for pickup 10/14 LATE AFTERNOON! Sept 9 to Oct 14 was 35 days ... Dave's "excuse" - HE had other cars to work on! When we picked up car 10/14 total was then $6000.96!!! $3700.96 MORE THAN THE $2300 ESTIMATE! I went with my wife to "look" at her car ... there was a gouge about the size of a quarter in the back door "protective" strip, when pointed out to Dave, his response was he would "fix it" and CHARGE AAA for it! My guess is Dave himself caused the gouge taking off the damaged door being repaired, the replacement door that didn't fit and the door that had "rust". That smells like a RIP OFF to me. Bottom Line - It is now 10/22/2022 - 43 days from "drop off" - the "job" hasn't been completed - neither Dave nor Bommarito has contacted us - the strips which Dave took off my wife's car obviously hasn't been "fixed"/painted - and the strips have not been put back on the car! When we finally picked it up , the hood didn't fit , the left fender was higher than the hood , and the paint was blistered on the hood . We took pictures of the car when it went in to Bummarito for repair and there were no paint blisters . Quoted two weeks when we dropped off our vehicle. After two weeks, we called them, and they explained that they had torn one of the parts and needed to reorder. On April 17, they said the car would be ready on 5/30. On 5/30, we called them, and they said that the car would go to paint Friday, 5/31, dry over the weekend, be reassembled, and sent for an alignment. It was to be ready tomorrow, 6/5. I called today, 6/4 and was informed that the car is still in paint and would be done hopefully by early next week. When I explained that I found it unlikely to be done given the history and asked to get a more precise answer, the operator(?) informed me that she gives estimates based on where it is in the process and cannot control any issues that arise and extend the date. I asked to speak to a member of the service team for clarity but was told I am not allowed to speak to them. Just following up for the 5th time yesterday November the 15th. they stated my vehicle will not be done for another 10 business days. The start of the process was of no fault of the Collision Center. Asked what I would need to provide when the vehicle was towed as everything else was set, just needed to provide the keys. I receive a call that my vehicle was dropped off, but they had no idea the name of the owner or whatever reason why it was brought it. The tower takes fault for that...so unprofessional and obviously knew less of the process than I do or just did not care. I call and provide the information and specifically mention I have the insurance estimate printed out since they asked for the claim number and asked did I need to bring any other information for the repairs. I was assured by associate that things were then squared away and they would call me if something pops up. Turns out after never receiving a call or update, my fiancé decides to call after our vehicle being there for nearly three weeks (he submitted authorization form) that our car hasn't been touched AT ALL because they didn't receive the insurance estimate. Excuse me? Not only did I mention and offer to get the paperwork to the office and was declined, but you mean to tell me the business let's a car that doesn't belong to them sit on the lot for weeks for something that could be resolved in a quick phone call? read more

Back in September, I dropped off my car to get an estimate on the car damages. Finally when that was complete, my insurance representative gave me an estimate and my deductible. I called the place and an employee told me I could pick up my car while they wait for the parts to come in. I go in the next day and the lady at the front desk tells me if I pick up my car now, I would lose my spot and have to wait until December. Unsure of what to do I had my dad go in and talk to them while I wait in the car. When my dad went , he mentions how the lady was gossiping about how mean I was to the rest of the employees. Who wouldn't be upset if you tell someone you have to wait a whole three months to get your car repaired and you have no car rental. Even after my dad told the lady one of her employees said I could pick up my car, they still wouldn't budge. I go back in to get my keys and ofc the lady says sorry for the confusion with the smile right after talking crap about me. This was a blessing in disguise because I was able to have a family friend repair my car and it only took a week to deliver the part and a day to fix it so what's their excuse? I'd rather give no stars. I took my car in on June 27, and it was only supposed to take a couple of days. It was a light repair, the 2017 Escape had been rear-ended. While on their lot, the car was vandalized and the windshield was broken. I was PROMISED an OEM Ford windshield... I picked up my car on the 27th of JULY - 1. I was told that no aftermarket parts would be used in the repair of my vehicle. They used a Keystone reconditioned bumper cover. 2. The windshield was not a Ford OEM, it was a brand called Pilkington. 3. The windshield is so severely distorted when you look out the passenger side that it's a safety concern. 4. The vehicle smells so bad on the inside (it's a brand new car and had that new car smell yet when I took it in) that it's nauseating. I suspect that the weekend the windshield as smashed that with all the rain we had - the interior was soaked, thus the smell. 5. Every time I open the hatch something "falls" on the inside, obviously something is loose on the inside. Or they left something inside when they repaired it. 6. I specifically asked them to have the oil changed and the tires rotated while it was there. On my way home, the change oil soon light came on. Nothing was noted on the paperwork that the oil had been changed. To say I'm upset is an understatement. I lease my cars through Ford, I get one every three years. This one turned 1 year old while in their shop. Now, I'm stuck with this one for 2 more years or I have to take a huge hit because they will only give me wholesale value and with the damage it will be less. My husband and I took our vehicle to here to get the front bumper repaired. The initial estimate said it should be done in 2 weeks unless something came up. Issues not initially known came up and resulted in a longer than expected time to completion. However, we were not told that there would be an additional time needed until the day before we were told it would be ready. It would have been known well before then that the vehicle was not going to be ready by the initial estimated date and we should have been told that earlier. That is very poor communication and not very good customer service. We were then given a ready date of 2 weeks later, which was well past our rental car coverage. That Monday we called to verify that the vehicle would be ready and were assured that it was on schedule for completion. Again last minute issues arose and again we weren't told until the day before it was to be ready that it wouldn't be ready until Thursday or Friday because it had to go to the Dealer in Ellisville. I called Bommarito Collision Hazelwood on Friday afternoon and asked them the status as we were told Tuesday that it would likely be ready to go by Friday and had not heard yet. It took 3 calls over the course of 25 minutes to get thru to someone. The person who finally answered told me that they were unsure of the status as it was still at the Dealer and the Collision Center had not heard from them yet, but he would give the Dealer a call to check the status and give me a buzz back. When he called back he stated that the dealer was still working on the vehicle and that our vehicle is notoriously difficult with all of the alarms and sensors, but it should be done shortly. The following Monday my husband received a call from the Dealer asking HIM why OUR vehicle was on THEIR lot - something they should have already known if the Collision Center did their job. It's pretty concerning that the vehicle was left at the Dealer for 5 days unattended, especially because I called the previous Friday and the guy claimed he spoke with the Dealer, meaning he didn't actually call them. Once the Dealer actively knew our car was at their location and why it was there it only took them one day to complete the necessary tasks to turn off the alarms/fix the sensors. THEREFORE OUR CAR SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY. Lack of proper communication by Bommarito Collision team members caused an unnecessarily long wait time for completion (5 total weeks; 1 of which was completely and utterly unnecessary) and caused undue strain to make sure I could still get to work every day. Once the vehicle was finally ready to go after issues at pickup (poor paint job among other things) and my husband drove away, it was quickly realized that the hood was not properly attached and was bouncing rapidly while driving, seemingly as if not fully latched. It ended up being an all day event to pick up our vehicle for something that shouldn't have taken over 30 minutes to an hour max. I understand that mistakes are made from time to time and that things happen (like scratching a body panel). However, there were far too many issues that were preventable leading to a very stressful few weeks and ridiculously long time to completion. Proper communication goes a long way and would have prevented a lot of the issues that occurred and the aggravation we experienced. Part of customer service is good communication, which was clearly lacking. It is also following thru on what you say you will do and doing so in a timely manner. I had high expectations and chose Bommarito Collision because of how much we like Bommarito West County. Their staff is wonderful over there and we have been happy with their service. They communicate properly with us and in a timely manner. Our needs and issues are always taken care of without a problem. It was naïve of me to think that Bommarito Collison Hazelwood would have the same level of service as them. I am sorely disappointed with our experience at Bommarito Collision Hazelwood and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

My truck was damaged by the service center and needed considerable body work. I had to initiate contact with the collision center to get information about the repair process. When it was returned to me, it reeked of a noxious odor. I let it sit outside for many nights during the winter but that didn't help. The manager refused to refuse to return my call, so I find a complaint with the Better Business Bureau: he then called me. I had to drop the truck off for an "Ozone Treatment" and was treated like dirt. I would NEVER use this center again! read more

Dropped my car off for a simple repair of the front bumper. During the 3 weeks they had my car I did not receive a single update from them. When it was ready a message was left with my amount due, which I was expecting. I went to pick it up and was told they don't take checks over $1000. Not one time was this mentioned to me. No one took me out to review the work that was done was satisfactory. And my car wasn't even clean...the new parts were and they maybe ran it thru a car wash but it was still filthy. I've had previous cars at other body shops who have given me frequent updates on my cars status, personally walked around the car with me when picking it up to ensure I was satisfied, car was returned to me looking brand new and spotless. I've been unsatisfied with Bommarito since my car was purchased...I should have known better to expect anything different. Definitely will be taking my car elsewhere next time. read more
